Get in loser we're going shopping, hi, babes, welcome back to my channel. If you are new, then welcome to my channel. It is day back again with a video for y'all. Today, i'm going to be styling, my headband wig. So, basically, what i'm going to be doing is showing you a couple of styles, i'm probably going to do just about five styles that you can do with your headband wig before we start this video. I just want to talk about this hair for, like a quick. Second, so um this wig right here i did a review on it. It was a synthetic wig from my local beauty supply store. I did have a link for it for sam's beauty, so you can purchase this wig. The link is under that particular video, but um to give you an update. I don't really recommend the wig um just because it does get tangled really really fast. Somebody take this one off. I'Ve only worn it a good four times before it literally like got so matted, and it's like really annoying that you have to keep brushing it. The hair is falling out um, it's cute for a moment. I really did like it. I got a lot a lot. A lot of compliments on it. I love this color, so i would definitely get like a human hair wig with this coloring again, but the synthetic baby like i can't do it. I can't do it with this particular wig, just because it's long so it literally just keeps getting tangled up so yeah we're going to take this wig off and this one has served its purpose um. It was a moment she's, not a keeper, really. What i'm trying to say is, if you don't mind wasting, i guess 35 dollars not really wasting it, because you can get a few uses out of it. I'Ve worn it like four or five times to work and whatnot, but it's just not right for me, but if you don't mind like using the 35 dollars for that moment, then i suggest a wig. But if you're looking for something long term, i do not suggest this particular wig, just because it wasn't long lasting and it's literally so tangled and i'm just over it, because i'm tired of like trying to maintain it so yeah we're going to take this one off And i'm going to put on the headband wig and i'm going to show you guys a few styles, the headband wig that i'm using is from um fashion plus it says it right here, so it's fashion, plus i've already done a wig review on this hair. So if you are interested in like the details and everything, then please go watch that video but yeah um. This is a headband wig, it's only 16 inches. I usually don't even do like short hair, but we're going to try to make this 16 inch work um. So yeah it's brand new out of the pack and, as you can see, the curls aren't as super defined as i would like them to be because they're like barely there, you could tell that there's curl, but you can't really see the defined curl. You feel me. So we're going to try to bring her to life and i'm going to do some styles on this wig right here. So yes, i came back looking like a freaking egg. You feel me an egg, so yeah you put your wig cap on and then we're going to undo this right here. This is the velcro for the wig cap and um. It has adjustable bands already. So i'm just going to adjust those really really quick, so yeah you're going to take the hair flip. It put your head down you're going to put this um there's a clip in the back and you're literally going to tuck it on the nape of your neck. Like the back of your neck to secure it to secure your wig, so yeah that and then you're gon na - take this right here, because this is the headband part you're gon na take the headband part on both sides. Put it in the back and without like getting the hair caught, which is the hard part um without getting the hair cut you're just gon na like put the velcro together and that's how you apply a headband wig. Now i would recommend doing your edges and stuff and then having it like slide up, and then you can see like your edges, um, i'm not doing that one, because one, because my hair is um like burgundy right now like it was red. So it's like going through a weird phase, where it's like black burgundy, there's too much going on now that it's on my head and i can kind of see it. We'Re gon na take some mousse and we're gon na. Take this comb right here and we're gon na try to give her some curls some definition, because she's just kind of looking like black right now very much blah, that's the way i can describe it so a little bit of mousse. I use this mousse right here. I just like it because it doesn't get like super crunchy. I don't like when um mousse makes your hair too hard. You have like that crunchy hard looking mess going on. I don't know. I don't like that on your hair, like you shouldn't, be able to touch your hair and it's like hard and crunchy like no, you want it to still be very soft. You still want to be able to like touch the softness so yeah. What i'm doing is. I'M putting some mousse on the hair and i'm going to take this comb right here, just because it's like a wide tooth comb, and so i'm just going to go through the hair like comb through it. This wig is supposed to be waterway, but i feel like it's not really giving, because this is what the curls are looking like. They are slightly better than before, but i thought they would be even better better like way better than this. I don't think it would be like super like defined, not coily, but like more defined. I can't i can't explain it. I didn't expect them to be like super coily, but i expected them to be like more defined than this. The hair is looking a lot better than it was before originally, but it's still not to my expectations. It'S cute, though it's like an effortless type of vibe, like i could see myself literally going to school like this like. This is how i would go to my class, because i just because i like um low effort like when i'm just going to run errands or something simple, and i know that i'm not going to like stud or take instagram pictures. I, like very um, effortless simple looks so i would do this with like leggings and a hoodie or something like that, and this is how literally how i would go to school. This is style number one and what you would do is take your um headbands. The wig came with some, but you can always order more from amazon. So, for the sake of this outfit, i think i'm just gon na do. I think i'm gon na do this. One for the sake of this outfit that i have on at the moment, so you would bring it around your neck. Take your hair out and just bring this to the front, and then basically, you play with the black band kind of like make it a little smaller so that the colorful band can go right on top just like that. So this is already a look. So this is look number one, and this is just your basic um headband wig style. With the hair out yeah taking a scrunchie. We can do some more styles um. I would probably do like a half up half down situation and just put some hair up top and have some hair out headband. Wigs, typically don't have parts, so i would kind of do it in a messy way. I wouldn't try to get it like spot on. Um super duper pin straight and perfect. That'S not what i would do with this um, because it doesn't have like parting, and i just feel like it's cuter when it's messy. Like i don't know, i think it's cuter when it's messy, because with headband wigs you want to go for like effortless like i don't really try to look polished in a headband wig like i just like it when it's messy and it's cute. So this is look number two and basically what i did was just create like a messy bun. It'S super messy. I hope y'alls is better than mine, but just a messy bun and i just did like half up half down um the wig doesn't have parting and i just feel like you can't get it like. Super duper, pinched right well with this wig that i have on. I don't feel like i can get it super duper pin straight, but that's not even what i'm going for like. I like the messy look, because it's supposed to look very much effortless like i woke up and boom, so i really do like this. This looks kind of like a bow. It was supposed to be like a bun, but it kind of looks like a bow, and i like that. I don't know i like this, so i would go out like this half up half down situation. I feel like it would look a lot cuter if you had like you know your swoops and your edges done your baby hairs down, but i didn't do that so make sure for your hairstyle that you do that like this is very minimal and like low effort And i just feel like it's cute like what's up girl, what's good, where are we going we're gon na get something to eat? Okay boom? Okay, so this is look number two again, i'm just going for very minimal, effortless kind of looks. If you want polished, looks, i don't feel like, i can give that to you just because it ain't that type of wig. You feel me so yeah. This is very much like minimal vibes and i just kind of like woke up like this type of vibes, and you would still want, like your hair, to kind of cover the back, because again, there is no parting on this um headband wig. So you would still want to like cover up the tracks or whatever if they are showing, but yeah. I just like this is super cute with the headband, so another good thing about just wearing it out like. Naturally, you can do um straight to the back or you could do like flip overs, like i kind of have it here, because there is no parting on these um wigs. So you kind of just have to like make shift apart and you can have like a flip over moment. I don't know if this is too far. Maybe something like that yeah. I would do it like that, so you can have like this flip over moment where your hair is just kind of like you know slipped over and it's still cute. It'S still serving still seven looks or you can do the other side if you prefer it. So you put the hair back and it's like natural state and then you would just like part it a little bit just a little bit because there are no parts, so you don't want it to be. Like too perfect, you want very like effortless very much. I didn't have to try. I kind of woke up like this looks so yeah, just a little flip over and kind of just like flip it over with your hands. I don't use a comb because you don't want it too perfect. You want, like effortless, looks so yeah. It would be the other side or like this way. You can do it. I like that, so the next style we're going to try to do is a bun, and i'm just doing this for the people who don't like hair in their face, or they don't like hair um like touching their neck. Some people are really like that or they just don't want any hair on them. So we're going to try to do a bun. I used my brush to try to sleek it back as best as i could and then i'm putting all the hair to the back. But the key to this is you have to um. You have to hide that band in the back, because you don't want that to be showing. So i would just do like wait. I wish i had a butterfly clip. I feel like that'll, look really cute. Okay, so this will be like the next style, and this is just basically like a bun, a bun, and what i did was try to like cover this right here, even though it's really hard too. But you would want to cover the band and try to like push it up under the bun, and then i have like a little bit of fly away right there. I really think this style will be super cute and a butterfly clip. But i do not have any butterfly clips with me, but if you own butterfly clips literally um twist, it put the butterfly clip and it will have this kind of like leave out. And it's just like a really cute, but like polished look i wish i could show y'all, but i don't have any butterfly clips with me. So i went ahead and took this one off, so i could show y'all like a different way to wear your headman wig. So i have some like of these glitter headbands. These used to be trending. I don't see these as much anymore, but i actually really still like these for work um but yeah. I would use like one of these um i'm going to use this one just because it's like really vibrant for the purpose of the video but yeah. I will put this on like right here to hide that black band and you kind of have to like manipulate it again. This looks way better. If you have your edges done and your edges out, i would just try to like manipulate it and play with it to where you can get it to fit the way that you want it to fit. Next, you could do like a high ponytail um. I don't recommend this on this particular wig, just because again it's shorter. If you have like a longer ponytail, then i feel like it'll be cute because it would cover like everything it needs to cover, but this sizing it doesn't cover the back. So i would definitely um either need to do one of these to make it cute. Let'S see if we can cover it up so yeah. I would do like a little ponytail moment with a colorful band and do it like that, and then you could like do it on the side. You feel me you can get funky with it like literally be as creative as you can um with these headband wigs, because a lot of people don't think that you can put them in styles, and you really can you can you just have to like camouflage it Right and make it work for you basically like make it work for you, okay, so for the next style i went to get my bag of scrunchies and i'm literally just gon na pick two random ones, so they might not match. I'M gon na pick like two random scrunchies and we're gon na try another style. So i'm just gon na do like these two colors right here, because they like match my outfit or whatever so yeah we're gon na do another hairstyle, i'm gon na. Take this one off, i'm gon na party just a little bit in the middle, but again like you, can't get a super accurate part with a headband wig. So what i'm going to do is try to do some space buns, because i think that would be cute. So we're going to take this hair okay, so i parted it a little bit and what i'm trying to do now is like twist the section that i'm trying to use and then i'm trying to create a um donut shape. It'S not supposed to look like this. This is not giving me space bud. Oh my gosh! I can't. Let'S see i don't like that, so we're gon na take it out. Okay, i don't like this one, but this is an option. So i'm gon na throw this in the video i'm gon na leave. This in the video just because it is an option, but i don't like it just because um i just feel like it's too much going on like especially with this and then obviously i would do scrunchies to match your outfit. But i just i don't know, i'm not. I wouldn't wear this, so it is an option, but i don't particularly like this style with the two pigtails on the side, but that is completely up to you um, but yeah. I'M gon na leave this in the video. Just in case, somebody wants to try two pigtails with a hip and wig, but yeah i'm not really feeling it. What i guess i'm gon na try to do. I really don't like the positioning of them either. I'M gon na try to do a bun, but buns are so hard. I just wish i was working with like longer hair like more hair. I just feel like i'm very limited um with this 16 inch. So basically, all i did was wrap that um ponytail around the scrunchie and it made this like horn type of effect, like i don't know what shape this is. What is this? But yes, this is what it made okay, so i'm over working with these buns y'all get the picture of what i'm trying to tell you to do, but i'm really over trying to fix them like they're, not identical, they're. Very much not twins right now, they're like distant cousins. They look a little crazy but yeah, so i would do like um a space bun. Look. I think this is super cute and very chill to wear um your hair, like this or whatever, and then have some hair out the bottom. I think this is a really really cute style, um and then maybe what you could do is do like this and add some flair to it match the scrunchies with your outfit. I don't really like the extra colorful accessories like the black band. The black band is kind of throwing me off, but you could wear it like this um. If you want to do something like that, i think this is very much cute. Very much if you like match the colors with your outfit or you can just take them off and had it like. I had it at the beginning, oh lordy, but yeah you could take them off and just wear them plain irregular too. So for the next style. I would definitely try to do like pigtails. Let me see if i could do it, but you're you are going to have to worry about that strap in the back again, because it's going to be showing but um yeah. If you want to throw in like a scrunchie and do one pigtail and then we'll do another pigtail over here and basically like coordinate it with your outfit, you could do that. Yes, yes, yes! Yes, yes, so you could do like two pigtails but um. You are gon na have to worry about the strap in the back, so i would probably do these with like black scrunchies um, just some simple little black scrunchies and then put one of the hair ties back on there. So you can camouflage that band in the back, so i would probably do it like that. I think the curly hair headband wigs are best. The straighter ones are okay, but i really really like those curly ones, because it looks way more natural. It looks way more effortless and you can literally just throw it on your head and they kind of just go with straight hair. I just feel like it tends to need to be straightened or curled or some type of style or always brushed, and it's really annoying versus with um curly hair. You can kind of just water mousse it and kind of just go. You know, and it's okay. If it's a little frizzy it's okay, if it's you know big, it's! Okay, if it's a little poofy, so you can have those imperfection type of styles with a curly wig. So that's why i really like, as far as headband wigs, to have a curly one. I don't like the straight ones. I wouldn't buy the straight ones yeah, so this is me just playing with it and that's really what you have to do for a lot of hairstyles honestly, but with headband, wigs or any other wigs, you kind of just play with it yeah with all wigs, not Just headband wigs, you kind of just have to play with it. Take your time. You need patience to really like learn how to do your hair and um, just because a style looks cute on someone, it may not look cute on you. You have to like know how to work with your face and your features, and all of that you know what i'm saying so it takes time and it takes patience to get your hair the way that it needs to be for you like spot on for you. So don't get discouraged is what i'm trying to say. This is how i would rock my headband wig honestly, so this is just it in its natural state, a little bit of mousse and then i just like the black band. I feel like it looks very just clean and effortless and i don't know i'm not really a fan of like prints, so i literally would just wear mine like this and walk out the house, and that's just me so i hope you guys enjoyed this video. I really did try to put this headband wig and some styles for y'all um.
