How To: Easy Natural Wand Curl - Headband Wig! || Ft. Rpgshowwig

Hey guys, what's up, it's queenie here, welcome back to my channel, so today's video is going to be a styling video. I need to get ready and i wanted to show you what i'm doing today and, as you have seen from my previous videos, i have been trying out some headband wigs and this is another one, but this one's a little different. I wanted to do something with a different length, different color and a different style. So i'm going to do that in this video. So i guess this is kind of like a get ready with me tutorial type situation, so today's wig is from rpg show. So this wig is a 16 inch colored wig and it is a yaki texture. So this is the perfect texture for kind of mimicking straight natural hair. You could say, or just wanting straight hair that has a little bit of texture in it. It'S still a little bit different than a kinky blow out, because the kinky blowout is a blowout. So the yaki texture is kind of like a straightened version of a kinky blowout. I would say okay, so i have this head um this head scarf on and then the wig is already on my head, and this is what it looks like all right. So this is the unit. This is what the texture looks like. This is the color. It'S a nice reddish brown, i guess like auburn type situation, so i thought this would look really pretty curled, so i'm gon na do that and i'll take off this part. So you guys can see the actual headband piece after i curl the entire unit. I am then going to pull this back style. My edges put a different headband make it look a little bit more fancy, but i feel like i could do a little bit more with this. So that's why i'm going to curl it yeah i'm going to be using a curling wand with a. I think. One. Two one and a half inch barrel. I think that's what it's called and i'm gon na curl it up and see how this looks the nice thing about using hair that has a bit more texture. I find that it holds curls really well. So if using heat on your wigs is something that you enjoy doing, this is definitely a good option. Okay, so this is now fully curled. I think it looks really cute, so i'm just going to push this back and work on my edges and then we're going to fluff this out later, but i'm just going to spray a little bit of hairspray on the curls and then for my edges. I'M going to be using some wet line gel as usual and my bellroche edge control as usual same with the same old, and i only use a little bit of gel just to kind of give my edges some moisture. And then the actual hold comes from the edge control, so the edge control goes just along my hairline and then i'll use that to kind of pull out the hairs. So obviously you have the option to separate this a little bit make it a bit fluffier. I love the way it looks just like this honestly because it will get fluffier throughout the day on its own. This is too easy like way too easy. I feel like this is such a nice going out? Look - and i really didn't do anything at least not to my hair um. The nice thing about these headband wigs is that you don't have to do anything to your edges, so your hair stays a lot healthier. This way - and it looks like you, put a lot of work into it when you really did it okay, so that is basically it i feel like this is the perfect style just to have. You know something a little bit more fancy and this is still pretty casual because it has a plain black headband. So obviously you can dress it up with something else you can use whatever headband you want, but here's an example. If you prefer something like that, i don't know, i personally would like to use a scarf to add some color. If you want to do something different, so this is obviously also an option you can kind of play with it. However, you want, depending on your outfit, which i love, these wigs can be casual. They can be dressed up and basically look, however, so i think i'm going to, since this is just a casual day for me i'll just leave it without any sort of extra piece and just leave it like this and wear it out, and i am good to Go the nice thing that's also great about this wig is that it has an adjustable band, so the headband itself is adjustable. You can see the adjustable band right here, so obviously you can tighten it and loosen it as you need to fit your head perfectly, but this looks great. I knew that this color would look good with some extra curls just to give it a little bit more personality, so i will leave all the details to this unit down below, so you guys can check it out. I think this is good. I think we're good. This is really really cute. I i saw it in my head and i feel, like i created exactly what i wanted, so this is nice. If you're kind of running out of ideas - or if you don't know if it's a good investment, i think they're very versatile and you can kind of do whatever you want with it. As long as you get a good quality one, that's obviously human hair, you can curl straighten and style. However, you want, you can kind of dress it up, dress it out. From my experience it's been really good and really versatile and it saved me a lot of time when it comes to installing my wigs. So i think it's great so far. I think it's really really nice and this little black headband that comes attached to it.
