Is This Worth The Money? Human Hair Headband Wig Review | My First Wig

Hey everyone. It'S me maggs, and i am back with a super easy protective style which is great for the winter months coming up, and this is from my first wig and it is a headband wig mine did come with this wig cap. It did also come with this wig sleeve, which is nice for storing when i'm not using it an edge control brush to slay those edges, and this brush actually has like a brush side and a calm side, and my um, my wig, also came with some edge Controls, so i'm not sure if this comes standard with all the headband wigs, but mine did come with this edge control, um and also it did come with kind of like this pouch that has some clips in it, and it also has like some bobby pins. You know just for everything that you would need for your beginner friendly wig, which this is, and it just makes everything so much easier to apply. So these are things that you definitely can use and need again, i'm not sure if this comes with everybody's wig, but it did come with mine, so it also did come with a comb which is really really nice. I love these combs and mine also did come with this really cute headband um, which you can use to jazz up your you know your protective styles of the headband wig, okay, so we're gon na go ahead and get started. What i did here was, i did put my hair in a low loose bantu knot. My hair is moisturized, and you know this wig is really good for the fall winter months to keep my hair nice healthy and moisturized from the dry air. So i am going to use my own wig cap because the other one was just a little too light for my preference. I, like darker wig caps, um and black wig caps, work really great for headband wigs in my opinion, so i'm just gon na slap that on and the wig actually comes with four combs. It has one in the middle and two on the sides, and one at the nape which will allow, for you know more security when you're wearing the wig, and it comes with adjustable straps. This had been wig also has um the velcro, and i like that. This has an extended amount of velcro which allows you more room to adjust, so the texture of this wig is straight and silky. This is human hair and the color is kind of like a brown color, and i did wash and deep condition this hair and it i let it air dry, and this is how it dry with a little bit of waves to it. So it definitely does need to be flat ironed and it does have an ombre, so the root area towards the top, where the headband is, has more of a dark color. So this will definitely match my hair. So it's really easy to pop on. I adjusted the straps and i'm going to adjust the velcro straps here and stick that bad boy together and your easy peasy wig is on okay, very beginner friendly. You know if you're on the go, don't have much time or you're looking for a cute protective style that looks way more natural if you're, not a girl who can slay lace like me, i'm not good at you know melting lace and stuff. So this is really easy and fun for me, so i am going to run a flat iron through this. I am going to use the cure care, silk and seal just to add a little shine, and this is also a heat protectant. So i'm just going to run a flat iron through this. I didn't really like press it really good. I just you know, wanted to get it a little straight and get the bumps out of it, but you know, of course you can, like you know, really press it out, make it really silky silky straight, but this hair is already pretty straight, so i didn't really Have to do too much, which is nice, so, as you can see it's coming together, the hair feels really really good. It'S really smooth, but i will say when i did receive this wig. It did have a little smell to it like a chemical smell and i think that's from the dye. So i would suggest if you get this wig definitely wash and condition it. But the hair overall feels really good and it lays nice and flat - and i like how the ombre matches my dark, hair and kind of fades into the brown. So these headbands are from my shop shop. You love megs, so i'm going to use these cute headbands to cover the wig band on the headband wig, just to jazz everything up, and i just think these will be cute for the holidays. These jewels and i love the hearts. So i'm just going to stack mine, so i'm going to put one over the material here like bloop and put another one to cover up the band and it's just super cute like very holiday friendly. I just feel so pretty so that is done. Super easy in a perfect protective style. This hair is actually 18 inches and the density is 130, so i feel like it looks really natural and lays really nice and flat, and i just really like it, i'm only 411. So this hair looks pretty long on me and i feel like it's the perfect length i will say the ends could use some work. I would personally cut off about an inch or two off the ends, just to give it a more clean look, because i do feel like the ends were a little scraggly, so i would do that, but the length is pretty good. It comes about close to waist length on me since i'm only 411 and the color is pretty pretty too it's a nice color for the fall and winter. If you want to add a little fun to you know your personality unit collection like me, so overall i really enjoyed this wig um, it's nice and comfortable. It'S not too tight, and it just feels really really good on.
