Wash Day: Do This Under Your Headband Wigs For Extreme Growth! | Lovelybryana X Unice

Hi loves welcome back to my channel, so today is wash day, and i talk about how i use wigs as a protective style all the time. So i figured, i would show you guys a few steps that i've been doing or included into my wash day that i think have helped my hair tremendously. Health, wise and lengthwise, like my hair, is growing like crazy, so starting off on an old, wash and go. This is what my hair is currently looking like. So this wash and go, i just used the lovely bees, leave it be leave-in and the do a mousse. So there's not much product in here at all, but i'm pretty sure a lot of you guys can tell how much my hair has grown like it is growing like freaking crazy, you guys, especially since i cut it last. I definitely need a trim, but this is how long my hair is down like stretched out. I haven't um straightened it fully. Yet i haven't straightened the middle or anything like that, just the top, when i did a leave out but yeah, it is really growing and you guys know i love my bob, but i have finally decided to grow my hair out fully. So this is what i am doing so starting off. Now i like to detangle out of the shower. Now i used to just go straight in sometimes i still do when i'm being lazy, but i feel like i lose so much more hair when i try to detangle in the shower, like it's just easier for me to separate like this and do a quick little Finger detangle with my hand first and then go ahead and wash it and that's just water in the bottle is my little baby. So i went ahead and used a co-wash, because my hair wasn't that dirty. I used my lovely b sample co-wash right now. I'M still trying to pick the right one you guys so that i can get it to you guys, but yeah, i'm just using the samples right now to see which one i like and then i'm gon na go in with my rice water. So i like using this ten thousand lakes - black rice, it's organic black rice. I get it from rouse um. I can't find it online. I only keep finding it on instacart, so i can put that link down below for you guys, but i start off by just rinsing it going to go ahead and just get all the impurities out and then i'm going to go ahead and just scrape it into This mason jar add some water to it and add about three drops of peppermint oil: shake it up, and then i let it sit for about 24 hours, sometimes a little bit more. But this time i'll, let it sit for 24 hours and i just use like room temperature water. That'S always a question that i get like is the water hot. Is the water cold, it's literally whatever the handle is on. I turn it and fill it up because it's going to become room temperature anyway, because it's sitting out um but yeah once i strain it and stuff the next day. I go ahead and i just section my hair and begin spraying. I like to start off on my scalp massage this rice water into my scalp a little bit, and then i work my way down to my ends and massage it in so after the rice water. I like to go in with this mask mixture that i create, so i go in with my holy grail, of course, the lovely bees, oh honey, moisture mash. You know before i would do this uh right on top of the rice, water, but i've been adding a few things. So honestly, i usually eyeball this. I'M just doing this for you guys, because i know a lot of you guys like measurements, so i'm doing about two and a half tablespoons of the oh honey moisture mask so my hair is kind of fine you guys, so you want to base this off of How thick your hair is and then i'm going to go in with about a tablespoon of each of these powders. So first this is the fenugreek powder put a little bit too much, but that's okay! Then i'm going to go in with a tablespoon of the almond powder and then a tablespoon of the hibiscus powder. So next this is totally optional. I'M going to go in with a little bit of this aloe, so i just chopped it up and put a little bit of water in here and blended it. If you use the aloe, you want to make sure that you blend it really good like get it as smooth as possible, because it will leave little white chunks all over your hair um but yeah. I just had an aloe plant that i've been using slowly. So i just decided to add that in here and then i'm going to go ahead and mix it up and create a nice little paste, it's kind of thick, but once you put the rice water on your hair and then you put this on top of it. It kind of thins it out a bit. It helps it smooth into your hair, so going section by section and applying this mixture right on top of the rice water. I'M just going to make my way all the way up to the front of my hair um and i'm going to make sure that i get this on my scalp as well. We meet yeah everytime is [ Applause, ] foreign everything go from. So this is my hair, fully saturated in the mixture and i'm going to go ahead and pin it up for about 30 to 45 minutes. It is going to get kind of hard not like hard, like an acid clay mask, but it's going to get a little bit stiff and then i'm going to rinse it out with warm water. So this is me just going to go ahead and rinse it out, and then i use the same co-wash. My lovely v sample co-wash one time just to rinse it through, because i didn't want to have the aloe chunks in there y'all like they're. So annoying. Do you want to be my wife, so this is what my hair looks like after rinsing everything out and then a quick little comparison of before and after um. So this is when i had just washed my hair and then this is after rinsing out the mask mixture. Definitely more hydrated super shiny, it even looks darker, so i went ahead and did my makeup. So my hair dried a bit, but that's totally fine. I don't like doing this on like damp hair anyway, especially when i put a wig right on top. I prefer my hair to be a little bit dry, but i need a little moisture for the leave-in. So damp is perfect, but i go in with my lovely bees leave it believe in first and then i'm going to go in with my petri essentials. Um, hemp oil, so this stuff is amazing for your freaking hair. You guys it seals your curls, so nice, like i really want to do a wash and go with just my lovely beads leave-in and this oil, because i want to show you guys what my curls look like like what this combination they were popping. Okay, i want to see how they dry like this, because this is my first time using this oil. I usually just use the oil that i use on my scalp, but i wanted to try this one out and i freaking love it me nobody else. So i've been braiding my hair, like this, a lot under my wigs. I just find like it's just so much easier than doing cornrows, and it's just it's perfect for headband, wigs and for regular. Wigs, like i really just be having my hair like this. Under my wigs now, but this is the oil that i use on my scalp, it's the same oil that i use every time i give myself a bald spot um. I will leave the ingredients down below. I just literally found all the most powerful ingredients that i could when i pulled my hair out, and this is what i've been using, so i just decided to start using it all over and now we are ready to be tucked away and protected. So i like using these little snap clips, i love them so much now. I don't know why i've never used them for anything like this before, but they just make it so much flatter than the bobby pins and things like that. So i'm just going to go ahead and just twist my hair up and basically just take these clips and pin it as flat as possible and then put my wig cap on your dream. Making dreams come true, and here we have it nice, flat, hydrated and ready to grow unbothered. Everything is so headband of choice today is from eunice hair. It is this beautiful, highlighted, kind of caramel blondish unit. You guys i freaking love these so much like they are just so convenient and easy. They actually have a bigger clip in the front which i like. I wish they would have the bigger one in the back as well, because i feel like it gives it a little bit more support in the back. But it has the two on the sides and then the regular size, one in the middle in the back, along with the adjustable straps and if i can hold the headband um, the velcro part for the headband. So i'm going to go ahead and put this baby on. Do my baby hairs up style it a bit and we'll be ready to go wake you up in the morning [ Applause ].
