Headband Wig Review | Wenyu Hair 14” And 16” | Starting At $55 | Quick Styles

Hey guys, this is stephanie nicole, h, welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be doing an unboxing and a review of two different hair band wigs. So both of these wigs were sent to me by when you, and so i have a 14 inch and a 16 inch. So if you want all the details, keep watching all right guys. So again, this is a unit from when you and the unit that i have on right now is 14 inches. It'S a curly unit. Also the 16 inch that was sent to me, as well as the same texture, is curly. This one retails the 14 inch retails for 54.90 and the 16 inch retails, for i believe it was 69.90, but i definitely will put the links down in the description box below both of these units were sent to me on amazon. But yes, this curl pattern is amazing and i'm also going to enter a clip here of the unboxing just taking the unit straight out the pack and showing you everything that came with it, how they looked and then also the co-washing process. What products i used and then also me putting this unit on my head, so keep watching i'm going to insert that here. Okay, guys, so here i am doing the unboxing. So again, both of these units came from wengu. I got a 14 inch as well as a 16 inch, so let's just take it out the pack and see what it looks like. So, as you can see, both wigs came in these cute little boxes, so i'm looking at the 14 inch right now. It has three combs in the front and one comb in the back and also has the headband piece with the velcro. Both units are made with 9a brazilian virgin hair, so it can be dyed. It can be washed straightened curled, all of that good stuff. So these are the two headbands that came with the 14 inch, so a little white floral one and a navy floral one so now over to the 16 inch. So again the wig comes in a plastic bag, so i'm just going to take it out. So you can see the texture of the hair just straight out. The pack. Also, the cap size is an average fit, so it fits most heads and again it has those four combs so three in the front and then one in the back and then the elastic headband piece with the velcro. So this wig also came with two headbands as well, so a black floral one and then also another navy floral one so straight out the pack, the hair did not have any kind of smell or anything but anytime. I have virgin hair i'm going to wash it first, so here i am just doing a quick co-wash, so just wetting all of the hair, i'm also being careful to try not to get the cap or the headband piece wet. I just don't want it to stretch out so now, i'm just going to take a quarter size of design, essentials, almond, butter, moisturizing, conditioner, and just rub that all through the unit and now i'm just taking a denman brush and just brushing the conditioner through the hair And brushing out those curls so after i'm done brushing through i'm just going to rinse out all the conditioner as well as wring out the excess water. And then i'm just going to hang this unit up to air dry. And i did the same exact process for the 14 inch as well as the 16 inch unit, and here are both of those units just hanging up to air dry. So after my units are done drying it's time to install. So i'm just going to put the headband around my neck first and i'm just going to put the units starting with the front on my head. So i have a stocking cap on my head to protect the back of my hair and i have my edges out. So i'm going to place those three combs in the front of the unit, just right behind my hairline so that my edges are out and then i'm going to put the back of the unit secure around the back of my head. So now i'm just adjusting the unit just pushing it back just a little bit and now i'm going to secure the unit with the headband piece so just connecting the velcro piece in the back. So now i'm just going to take the headband that's around my neck and place it on top of the black headband piece that's attached to the unit, so i'm also making sure that my headband covers the black velcro piece to the headband. In the back of my head, and now i'm just going to fluff out that hair, since this unit is pretty short, it's only 14 inches. I do want the curls to be as big as possible also that black headband piece, that's connected to the unit, was showing just a little bit. So what i did was just fold it back and then just put my headband over it. So it's undetectable now. So now i'm just fluffing this unit out just a little bit more just trying to make these curls as big as humanly possible. So that is pretty much it. All you have to do is pull your hair back, put a stocking cap on throw on this unit and put on your favorite headband, and you are good to go for the day all right, so i am back and i really love this unit. I haven't wanted to try a headband wig for quite some time now, so i'm so thankful to when you for sending me these units um. So this curl pattern is amazing. I love it only thing is. I wish it was a tad thicker. I just feel myself like fluffing it out every now and then it is 150 density. I just wish it was a smidget more but um. This is the hair and it's so super cute and convenient just mold, your hair back or put it in a ponytail and then just throw on this unit secure in the back with the headband piece and then um just put your desired headband on top of it. So this is one of the hairbands that was sent to me and i love it because it kind of matches my earrings the chain and then it has a few little chains around here. But this is so super cute, and you know it's just convenient now that everybody's working from home, you just throw this on for a quick zoom meeting or just throw it on to go to the grocery store really quickly and just look fabulous in the meantime. So how i feel about this hair so um, as you saw with the co-washing process, there was quite a bit of shedding now that it's on my head, it's not too much shedding, maybe a hair here or there, but not um anything to be alarmed about the Hair is super super soft, especially after the co-washing process. I use the design essentials honey. I forget what the name of it is conditioner, but it smells amazing. It feels amazing, i'm also going to put the conditioner that i used down in the description box as well, but there was no funny smell or anything straight out, the pack everything smelled pretty normal, but that is it for this 14 inch. So i just wanted to pause right here, just for a second to basically recant my previous statement about this unit, not being full enough, because i've been doing you know just fluffing it out throughout the day and it's been getting bigger and bigger. So this is just day one um after co-washing and air drying, so the more that i fluff it out, i believe the bigger this hair will get um, and so i don't think fullness is really an issue to me anymore. I actually like the amount of hair. This is it's not too much, it's not um too little either. It'S just the right amount of hair. So just wanted to add that here. So please disregard what i say about the 16 inch as well: i'm actually going to click on the 16 inch nail and see how i feel about that one so keep watching alright guys. So i am back - and this is the 16 inch curly headband wig um. So initial thoughts with it on my head, i love this one more than the 14 inch just because it's a tad longer um and same issue with the last one, though i just wish it was a tad thicker um, because you constantly have to fluff it out To get that big effect, if you don't care anything about having big hair, then you will love this unit, but yes, i definitely have to fluff it out to get that big hair feel and look but again the hair is super super soft um and i did The same process just co-wash it and hung it up to dry and the curl pattern is just amazing. I love it um, but let me give you all the so let me put angles over okay, so this is so cute william. Thank you so much for sending this to me. Okay, so i'm going to change out this hair band and see what kind of styles we can do with this. So my little leopard hair band did not cover the back of the unit where the velcro piece is so. I had to switch it out and put on one of the headbands that was sent to me. So i'm just going to start with a simple flip over. So flipping that hair over to one side and then also bringing it over to the other side like a side part almost and now, i'm just going to take the top half of the hair and bring it all up and secure it with an elastic band. You don't want to pull too tightly to slip the unit off of your head, so just be aware of that. So this is just a little quick half up half down with a messy ponytail. So now i'm just going to take that hair from the ponytail and wrap it around for a quick little bun up top and the rest down. So now i'm just going to remove that elastic band and i'm going to gather all of the hair up top and then again secure it with an elastic band to give the illusion of a messy ponytail. So i absolutely love this look, this messy curly ponytail and it looks super natural all the way around no lumps or bumps so there you have it all right guys, so that is it for this video um. I do apologize that the lighting in this bathroom is a little weird today. I don't know what is going on, but um.
