Welcome and welcome back to the channel. Thank you guys so much for coming back to see another video of mine, it's clear to me that you love hair. So why not subscribe? I mean you like me: you got ta like me. This is like the fourth video you watched. You got ta like me, but anyway today's video is going to be a headband, weird tutorial and i'm just showing you guys the wig. You can pull this wig up. You can make a ponytail a bun like i did. This wig flawlessly, this wig, is seamless and i'm going to show you guys how to get this look, how to execute a wig perfectly. Just like i did. I even made the little headband piece that you see and it has a velcro strap to match all right to keep this tutorial off you're going to need a spandex, dome kel! You can get whatever size you need. They have sizes as big as extra large. I haven't seen anything bigger than that, so, if you had bigger than that, i don't know, but i just don't know, but um you're gon na need a spandex dome cap and you're going to need to sew a headband onto the front of the cap. What i did was, i cut the band part of the cap in half and just attached it i think i did. Maybe y'all can see that i might zoom in for y'all but yeah. I just attached that little headband piece to the front of the uh wig cap and then yeah you just flip it back. Well, i flip mine back and it serves as like a headband, i'm actually going to put tracks all the way to the tip of the wig cap. So the headband can like cover the tracks because i'm going to make a full wig. So this wig is going to be completely full and you guys see that velcro piece that i pulled from a wig grip and just sewed it onto this headband y'all. I am so innovative yeah. I will create something out of nothing, and this wig is just that. Something out of nothing, but you see how the headband will function once i get done, gluing all the tracks down. I sewed it to the tip of the why i keep saying tip the edge of the wig cap and yeah. It'S going to function just like that on my head, as you see it on the wig head. Okay, this next step is completely optional, you're, going to take either a white eyeliner or some white nail. Polish. In my case, i have a sally, henson, white pen and this step is completely optional. I'M just i get a little extra when i get on camera for y'all, because i know y'all watching and licking and y'all gon na critique me if it's wrong. So i am being a little extra i'm marking off and these mark offs are actually places where i will place tracks or whips. I will glue them and then put them right in these spots and i'm not doing complete white lines because i feel like that's extra and i don't have enough white polish in the pen - i'm just going to do these tiny little markers about an inch apart. And i think i have like maybe 15 and i'm actually going to go back in and put markers in between those markers. So when i say this wig is going to be full honey. This wig is going to be full like thanksgiving dinner. Full. This wig is going to be full all right, y'all. So now it's time to get to the important part after i have marked off all the little white lines and y'all see i actually did go in between and put lines in between the big lines that i made, but anyway y'all it's time to glue these tracks. On and i have never ever played with hair glue, the only thing i did was glue some lashes onto these little straggly little eyelashes. I got on my eyelids now, but when it comes to tracks, look at these look girl. I think i'm trying to size it now because see you have to size it see and then you got to cut it see and then you have to put the glue on their seed and then you got to press it on there and then you got to Dry, it see this, is it steals? Is it's levels you can't just throw it on there? You got to it's a sequence to it, you know um, you got to be careful because you'll mess up something real, quick and this almost went wrong. I i put this in here because i needed to show y'all where this almost went wrong, where this video was almost about to be a failed production, because i didn't know what i was doing, but i saved the day: um yeah, i'm just gluing the track. Y'All can't even see, but i'm gluing the tracks girl, i'm putting the glue on the track. See. I don't even know that's how you know. I wasn't doing it right because i can't even get the voiceover right, and this is like days later, but anyway, i'm gluing. This glue, i'm gluing the glue onto the trash y'all, know what i'm talking about, i'm putting the glue on the trash and for some reason, y'all. I could not get the hang of these after about two or three tracks. I was like: okay slash. You got to reevaluate what's going on because you're not you're, not getting it you're, not you're, not progressing um. Your progress report is looking very unsatisfactory. Like you're, not it's it's not it's not doing what it's supposed to do. Look at this look girl, girl, no ma'am, and i was trying to like. I don't know if i thought it was supposed to be like some type of instant stick where i thought it was going like like velcro, where you just stole it up, then it just stick. I don't. I thought it was going to be something like that, but it wasn't and i was just completely thrown off as you can see, i'm there, i'm all in my wig head space. She can't even breathe she's trying to get her hair done. My armpit all on her forehead like it's, it's honestly, a hot mess. Look at this girl, you don't know what girl oh y'all, look at and then i'm trying to put glue girl use the dryer. I had no idea. I finally looked at a video, and i was like: oh you got to use the dryer as soon as you put it on there. You got to put it on there and put enough y'all. Look at me struggling look at this, i'm struggling so hard, but yeah you're, going to measure back to what i actually did do right, you're going to measure before you put the glue on there and i'm going to show you guys a diagram of how to lay Your tracks in the back just so you can get that seamless. You know, flawless, look, okay, so here's the diagram. I actually drew it on my dry erase board. But anyway, you see where i have labeled wig cap and i have labeled wefts, which is aka tracks or the hair you're, going to lay the hair against the curve of the wig cap. So what i mean by that is you see how each weft is pretty much right at the end of the wig cap, and that just makes sure you don't have any gaps any type of spacing when you go to pull the hair back okay, so you kind Of have to leave a gap between the track and where the headband starts, and you can see on the next diagram where the front track is going to go actually a totally different direction than the tracks in the back. It'S going to go from ear to ear. So you need to start leaving gaps in the same spaces that you didn't leave gaps when you did the back tracks. So what that just means is you're not going to go all the way to the edge of the wig cap. All right! So i'm going to just finish with this last track: gluing it down making sure it's secure and eventually i did get the hang of how to position the tracks and glue them down where they stayed. I'M going to fast forward this video to almost the end of the wig making process, but i do have about five or six more tracks to glue down. I'M going to show you guys how i do that now we are in the final stages of the wig. I'M just going to measure the tracks i'm going to cut it. Then i'm going to apply a strip of glue onto the wig cap and also along the west part of the track and i'm going to glue it down and then put the dryer right. Next to the glue and kind of let it dry down with the heat applied to it, and also just a little bit of pressure from my fingers. So yeah you guys get to see me do all of that until i'm completely done and when i'm done i'm going to flip the headband back and, like i told you guys, the headband is actually going to cover those tracks directly in the front. So i won't have to worry about seeing any type of tracks and it'll be a seamless finish. Thank you guys so much for watching hope. You guys enjoyed this video. Please come back and see another video i post every wednesday now so if you're free on wednesdays feel free to tune into my channel, see you guys later so so
