Diy Headband Wig/Save Your Coins!

Happy, hey guys, welcome back to my channel and thank you for stopping by today now today, i'm here to show you really quickly how i made my own headband wigs now for this demonstration, i'm going to be using what lace, collection, tyrina and also what lace chrissy. I think they're both in the 1b. Now these are wigs that i've already had in my collection, so i decided to try out the headband method with these wigs now in case, you have been living under a rock headband. Wigs are all the craze right now here on youtube, so if you have not seen them go to youtube, search bar and type in headband wigs - and you will see what i'm talking about now - the hairband wigs that i've been seeing all over youtube have really um. Piqued my interest - and i was so close to purchasing one but for the life of me. I could not justify spending the type of money they wanted for those wigs and you could only wear it with the headband now the cheapest one i saw was around eighty dollars and for me it's just not it's not in the budget to spend that kind of Money when i can only wear it with a headband, so i went through my wig closet to see what i had that i could use to duplicate that style, so the ones i found that worked. The best were from my wet lace collection. Now, as you can see here, i just took two um bobby pins and bobby pin around the edge of the wig like where the ears would be. I do love the what lace collection wigs, but unfortunately, with this 13x6 frontal they have to be glued down and i'm telling you i just don't have the time and energy, so i don't get to wear them much. So, besides reviewing it. This is the first time i will be actually probably wearing this wig as a headband wig. Now the way i used uh, i'm sorry. What i use to actually adhere my wig down or to hold it in place is a wig grip. So i just got a plain black wig grip after i um bobby pin the the edges just two on each side. If you want to use more, you absolutely can it's up to you, but i'm telling you, after you put on a wig grip and fasten it that wig is not moving, it feels very secure, so there is no need to worry now during this process. I did get some hair caught in the um velcro of my wig grip, so i was kind of struggling with that. So just bear with me i'm getting it together, y'all, okay! So when it comes to these headband wigs, i really think they look more natural. When you have some of your hair out or your own edges pulled out um, i'm bald hair y'all. We all have talked about this before i don't have the time to be trying to fake it until i make it, and i also have a big forehead, so i always try to cheat on my forehead as much as i can. I never usually wear my hair back off my forehead in any way i like to have bangs or a side part or something that kind of hides my big old forehead. So for me, i like to wear my headband on my forehead one, because i'm ball headed number two. It hides my big forehead now, if you want to pull your edges out or slide the um wig and the headband back, i mean the whip. Wig grip back. Some you can absolutely do that. It'S up to you now, on top of that, i just went in with a headband. Now i purchased some headbands off amazon. If you guys are interested in finding some headbands, they have all types, but i will link the ones that i got um in the description box. In case you are interested. I got a pack of eight for like 16 and i really like these headbands because they are wide in the front, but they get more narrow as they go to the towards the back, so that um is less material to kind of mess with and does not Cause your wig to be bulky in the back, so in the very back of the wig, when you fasten your wig grip, you want to make sure that area is laying flat and, of course you want to make sure that your um actual headband is flat, and You don't have a lot of material back there to make that hump in the back now these are some of the headbands. I got i'm not going to go through all of them, but they're really colorful. I really really like them so yeah now, like i said i did use two of my what lace collection, wigs for this style, and i really think that these are good wigs to use because the hairlines are so natural and they have a natural density. So it lays flat, it was just easier using uh those wigs than any of the wigs i had. I guess any 13x6 frontal unit will work or anything with the hair already going towards the back. I just took my comb and kind of combed the hair towards the back, a little more and then, like you saw, i just use my wig grip and a couple bobby pins to adhere it. It is on snug and secure, i feel very secure with it. It'S not going to move or anything like that and in the second clip you're going to well in this next clip coming up. You'Re gon na see me try it on with what lace chrissy so that one is a look. This one is a little bit shorter. The bob itself, so that is the only difference - tyrina is just a tad bit longer, but i like them both and if i was going to purchase one, i definitely would have put purchase a short bob.
