My First Wig | Luveme Hair Headband Wig

Hello, fabulous people. I am daniela welcome to my youtube channel diyetta, where we discuss all things fabulous. Today'S video, you guys i am going to attempt to install on my own my very first wig, yes, honey, a wig baby. So, as you can see, i have my hair twisted and two string twists. I have a bobby pin and we gon na make it do what it do before we get started. If you are a new viewer, i want to say welcome. You guys, let's get into the details, so i received this wig from love me hair. Let me beautiful packaging by the way right, and so i'm gon na try to install it. It is a headband wig, so it should be easy, no lace front. So if you are a beginner um as far as when wigs like i am, then it should be easy and i'm actually hoping that it is all right. So i have my wig here. I have some um cover the price tag on that baby. I have some edge control. I have my wig caps um and i have like a band, so i can, you know, try to do something with these edges, and so the first thing that i'm going to do is i am going to put the wig cap, on which i have also never Done this before either - and i am gon na then put some edges out um so that you can see them, and so i look a little bit natural. So even though it is a headbang headband, wig um edges, baby hairs are uh optional. I do not y'all, i'm so excited and nervous all at the same time, so i got this wig cap in the color dark beige, as that, i do believe, is the most um similar to my actual scalp. Now, with that being said, you do not have to necessarily worry about your scalp or your wig cap, rather matching the color of your scalp with the headband wig again, because there's not going to be like any parts visible. So that was easy. If you see me looking down here, i got a little mirror down here. So mama can make sure babies mama got ta, be sure. Okay, i'm i'm, oh all right, okay! So what i'm gon na do now is i'm gon na take my edge control and i'm just gon na give myself some slight some slight workage as far as baby hears, because y'all know me and baby hairs, we really don't get along all right, so i am Going to lay my edges down, that's so i'm trying to get this thing tight, because you know these alabama edges be crawling baby. They be moving all right, so, while my edge is set, i'm going to tell you a little bit about the wig that i'm going to try to install today. So let me hair reached out to me, and they told me that they have a headband wig line. It'S supposed to be very user friendly and that i could pick a wig, so i do want to give the disclaimer that this wig was gifted to me, and i will tell you about the wig that i chose. I chose the 14 inches deep wave, affordable, headband wig. I will insert a picture of how it looks on the website. So, as i mentioned, i watched some youtube videos of other people installing headband wigs, so i could try to get a feel for how i should be doing it. So last night i just washed my hair i put in leave-in conditioner like i would. If i was going to do one of my wash and gos and then i just separated it and did several two strand twists around my head, then i took them two at a time and i just body pinned them in different directions to hold them down. Honestly, my hair is short enough that i could have just put the wig cap on top without body painting them, but i bobby pinned them nonetheless, so here is the box, and the packaging, i must say, was very, very beautiful, and so here is her. The wig itself so we'll take out the unit, so i love this this this packaging and it came in a hair net. Let me find the now i've already taken it out of the box, because i wanted to look at it um and see how it looks, and so um here is her here is the unit. I hope you guys can see that so i mean it looks good. Now, as somebody who has never worn a wig before my biggest concern would be the installation, because again i've never done it. I don't know what i'm doing. I watch some youtube videos but of course i don't think many people out there making youtube videos if they've never worn wigs. They, the girls, be looking good, okay on the tube, and so my edges should be you know set, and so this wig has velcro straps. So that that would be at the back of the wig and i'm just gon na make it do what it do right, and so there are also combs um at the back, as well as two at the front. I'M not going to use the combs, especially with because it is a headband wig, but we're gon na see: okay, y'all ready. Okay, i have hair y'all have not had my hair straightened since 2014. um. What did i do with the the velcro strap in the back? Hold on so this is one end of the strap where's, the other okay. I found the other end of the strap. Now i will tell you this. My head is so small that me pulling this velcro strap in the back. It'S still, you know a little loosey-goosey. So i do have a smaller head, so let's keep that in mind girls. So what i am going to do now is, i am just going to go through with my hands and then just start to separate the hair, as a matter of fact hold on. Let momma go get some oil on her hand all right, so i just got some design essential, coconut and monoi oil. I usually rub this on my hands when i'm fluffing out my hair. So since this is real hair, just like i wouldn't touch my hair without any oil on my hands, i'm not gon na touch this hair without any oil on my hands. Oh it feels so soft and silky you guys, so i'm just separating the hair. So we could have more volume more life. We want more life, more life, okay, so of course the more i separate it, the more it is going to look. You know wavy baby, i, like it yeah i put on a wig, see that was secure. Now i would advise you to go to six flags. I wouldn't advise you to you know tussle, but that thing on now that thing. Oh, no! Let me turn around and see if i can show you all the back. That was so easy right. So i'm gon na put on the leopard headband and see how i like that. So this is like a double headband. I guess so. Let'S see headband headband gon na slide that bad boy back and there you have it me likey. What y'all think drop me. A comment - and let me know what you think so, even though this is a headband wig, you have the option of rocking it different ways, and so i'm just going to try uh a half up my half down option: okay, she's, a minion maniac on the floor. See i feel like i need to go work out. So half up half down, probably is not gon na, be the way that i wear this. So there you have it you guys. I installed my first wig a headband wig. It was as easy as it said it was. I have no qualms about it. The only things that i would do different is just pick a hair texture that looks more similar to my hair um. I, but like i like this wavy look, it's just different, so i hope that you enjoyed this video. I hope that it gives you some inspiration if you've been thinking about trying a headband wig, you guys literally, this was my first time ever putting on a wig, and you see how well it went right well.
