5 Minute Style N Go! No Lace, No Glue, No Worries Pixie Headband Wig |The Ponpons

Hey friends, welcome back to another video with the pom-pons in this video. I will be reviewing this a cute pixie cut headband wig that i purchased off of amazon for 46 dollars and i love this look. The headbands have been a takeover for me. So in this video i will be showing you guys how i prep my natural hair for this protective style, how to install your headband wig and where to purchase your headband, wigs and other headband accessories. So let's go ahead and jump right into the tutorial, starting with my dry natural hair, as you can see, she's looking a little neglected, i haven't done anything with her for the past couple of days, so i'm gon na start off by spritzing her with some water Get her nice and wet because we need to brush her out, so we can lay her down in order to put this wig on my hair still a little too short for me to braid. So i just try to slick back my hair when i put on my wigs, so i'm going in with the texture id coils uh leave-in conditioner as my cream, and i just take a nice little handful of that rub it in do a nice, scalp massage as Well because, like i said, we've been neglecting her for a couple of days. We need to show her some love and then i'm going to go in with a denman brush and detangle all of this. So i'm pretty much brushing all of my hair to the back. So that it kind of lays back as we put on a stocking cap and then we're going to go into reviewing this cute headband wig - oh, don't forget to slay them. Edges use whatever kind of gel edge control, whatever you have on hand, slay them edges, because the biggest thing about these headband wigs is those edges are to be slayed, so i'm brushing those back as well and we're going to jump right on into the review. Now. It'S time to uh take this bad boy out. I got it in the mail last night and i am really excited to see what she is working with it is i leave some wigs, don't don't don't need to try opening it up. Here is the hair. It came with two headbands one is like this little stretchy one, and then you have this cute little um twisty headband, with the scrunchie in the back. I really love these because they can like fit so well to everyone. So this is a six inch. Pixie cut bob the headband wig it's in a natural color, it's supposed to be 100 human hair. So it's only six inches, so i'm not expecting it to have like inches, but it is like you know, kind of compressed, so i do like to fluff it up. First feel it is really really soft. Definitely human hair love the curls on it. I can't wait to get some product on it, so we can really see them. Curls pop, oh, like your usual headband wigs, it comes with the the two clips. Three. I'M sorry three clips four clips. Oh my goodness, they yeah plenty of clips for your security, so you have three in the front and then your one in the rear, the one in the rear, is probably the only one that i really use. I have really short hair, so i keep my hair um all brushed back into my stocking cup. I keep a stocking cap on just because i don't want my fro to get like poofy and stuff like that, so nice and stretchy headband with the velcro to uh, secure i'm gon na go ahead and put it on wear my little mirror there. She is velcro down yeah. We definitely got ta do something with this, because you could tell like it's just sitting in a box all day, and it is just i let my edges poke out just a little bit more. I like for my baby hairs to be seen as much as possible. There we go okay, she feels a little bit better. I think i had her sitting up too far. That pressure was a little snug all right, so i'm gon na go in with some basic leave-in conditioner and some basic water there's nothing mixed up in this no oil or anything, and for my leave-in conditioner, i'm going with the pantene goat series, the detangling milk leave-in Conditioner is leave-in conditioner, so i'm gon na spray, it oh right. Okay, the curls are speaking to me. Definitely speaking to me, i love this. I love this. Look at him. Look at him: girls, she's, cute, she's, cute, okay. So, let's put a little bit of accessory with it um they gave me uh two headbands included. I'M gon na try out this cute little pink, i'm gon na see if i check it out from getting kind of warm. Now i've been taking my iron pills, my blood began, my blood be boiling. Now this is the second head headband. This is this ain't a headband? Oh my gosh. It'S one of those little necktie things that people wear as a mask. That'S what it is a little bit stretching, so that's the second one that they gave me now. I already have something similar to this honey, a plus all around definitely a plus, for that the hair is definitely human, hair, beautiful color, beautiful curls and y'all know. I love a style that only takes me 10 minutes to do and in the span of the video it took me 13 minutes, and that was just with me talking to so probably less than that. If i won't stay in here running my mouth, but it's cute, it's really cute ain't. It like this is the talking table. Let'S talk about it, i love me picks me some pixie cuts. I love short hair having a wig, where i can versatile between being short and being long right up my alley now. The only downside here was not having options to pick out my headbands. I didn't really really like that, but it came fast. I got it in like two three days: no problems at all basic packaging, nothing extravagant or grand like i've received before, but it's okay, it's all going in the trash anyway. I just it's. You know some people like to know how the packaging is it's it's stuff. That'S going to go into trash irregardless. Another downside is, i don't have the option of doing a bunch of styles like my longer headband wigs, where i'll do a half up, half down put in a bun put it in a ponytail put in a high bun. You know messy bun, all that good stuff. This is a one and done the only um thing that you're really changing up is going to be, of course, your headband. So that means you can accessorize it to any freaking outfit. As long as you have the headband for it, and you can literally find headbands anywhere anywhere target walmart sally beauty, shop online on amazon, i'll leave a link down below for where i purchase my headband wigs now. For me, i prefer headband wigs that um. I don't care if they have a pattern or if they're solid, but i like the ones that kind of criss-cross over, so you have this nice little x in the front. I don't. I also don't mind a little knot in the top either that that's super cute too, but i like it to be a little bit wider in the back versus having that little scrunchiness like this. This one is a lot wider, so it covers up that band because i can definitely still feel or, like i feel like my band is still like. You can still see the velcro. If i turn my head the wrong way. You'Re gon na see the velcro on the back of my head, so that part i don't like, but they do give you this headband, which is a lot thicker and you're just supposed to like you know, scrunch it up, and this will cover the entire band. For you so that'll work um, but i prefer buying these kinds where it's already nice and scrunched. It has a nice little decorative pattern. It has a little crisscross or the knot on top. I purchased those all online and they're very inexpensive, so the link would be down below for you guys to purchase that as well as a link to uh purchase. This cute pixie bob headband was like oh my gosh and then 46, like for human hair. I'M i feel like that that is not a bad price at all. I'Ve seen a lot worse when it comes to pixie cut human hair, wigs now, of course, i also diy my own headband, wigs 2 on my channel you'll have a clickable link for those videos at the end of this video, where i do make my own, but Those are synthetic because i like to keep it budget friendly, because sis can't just be dropping a 200 on hair every freaking video - i just i i ain't got it going all like that, yet so um i do try to do more budget friendly friends. You know more, you know cheap girl friendly, like your basic black girl friendly. You know, budget when it comes to purchasing hair and buying hair. So with that being said, it is a look definitely a thumbs up for me. Definitely going to be my work day. You know work week, wig where i cannot throw it on. I don't have to worry about getting the side eyes, because my hair might be tiptoeing on the boundaries of that's against policy. You know so you know your regular that you go through as a black woman who likes to change her hairstyle every week, just part of life.
