Trying A Kinky Straight Headband Wig From Amazon | Spoiler Alert....I Love It!

Hey loves, welcome or welcome back to my channel it's lex today, i'm coming to you guys with a hair review, i'm going to be reviewing a headband wig that i got from amazon. I have reviewed a headband wig from amazon previously on my channel. If you have not seen it, i will link it in the description box. I ordered a different wig this time from a different company and it's a different texture. So we'll see what it's talking about last time, i really just wanted to see if the headband wig would fit over my locs and now i know that it will so i'm confident that this wig is going to fit as well, and i'm super excited to try. It because it is a kinky straight wig. I have never tried a kinky straight wig before, but i've always thought that they look so good and just the texture really matches kind of like what relaxed hair looks like on black women. So i'm super excited to try. This i ordered the wig from i believe it is cyan show store on amazon. I will link the store in the description box and the comments, and i will also link the wig in the description box and the comments make sure that you check the description box, because i always leave you all kinds of details about. What'S going on in my video and other videos that you can check out as well, so let's go ahead and get into this video. I ordered the wig from amazon. It is a 150 density, 16 inch kinky straight wig. It cost me about 70 and i think that actually there was a sale going on so it ran me 60 and then i ordered something else from amazon. So i got free shipping, so that was really nice and it took three days actually for the wig to arrive so really fast shipping. This is the packaging that it comes in really nice. I love the box. I think it's super cute. If you don't know when you're new to my channel, i absolutely love to receive my wigs and boxes, because it provides excellent storage for wigs and other things. So here it is, you can see it, it does not have the name of the company on it. It says 100 human hair and it says, wake your own beauty up. It says 100 human hair on the side of the box as well, and then it tells us how to care for the hair on the back. Let me go ahead and open it. So inside of the box, i received my wig it's in a plastic bag which i love. I love these as well, because that's more storage for my wigs and another headband came with the wig. I think that's super nice. I don't know if you guys can see it, probably not, but it's a nice pink headband and then there are also some lashes. So that's a really nice touch. I'M gon na go ahead and put the box off to the side, because there's nothing else in there. What i do notice is that there is no wig cap. I came prepared. I have my own wig cap here, but i do see that there's no wig cap and usually wigs, do come with a wig cap. Why am i struggling to close this box? I don't know okay, so let's go ahead and move on opening the ziploc bag now taking the wig out okay, so the wig does come in a hair net just to keep everything in place, and there is some paper in the wig to help the wig keep Its shape, i do notice a bit of a smell, but it's just the regular hair smell that i'm getting um. It'S also giving me that i'm not going to be able to just throw this wig on and go i'm probably going to have to, i would say, run my run, my um hot comb through it a few times because there are some dents in the hair. I guess due to how it was packaged and i don't think the camera's picking it up. This wig is actually really brown. It'S supposed to be a 1b color, but it's looking pretty brown to me here in person, so i might end up dyeing it. One thing i'm seeing and just to compare this wig to the other one that i have uh the velcro on this one is different and i actually like it it's stronger. It appears to be stronger to me than the velcro on the previous headband wig that i ordered, and i also think that this strip is longer, which is good. So i can get a tighter fit because i've noticed with the headband wig that i've been wearing from my previous video um. I can't really get that tight of a fit with it. I often feel that the headband is kind of loose in the back, and i don't really like that, so i'm gon na go ahead and put my wig cap on and then we're gon na see about getting this thing on my head. Oh before i do. Let me show you the inside, so this is about how my other headband would look too, and i really really really like how you cannot see the wefts through the wig love that it comes with combs two combs one in the front one in the back. I don't use comb so i'll probably be cutting it out of my wig, but that is an option. If you are somebody who likes to use combs running my fingers through the hair, it is pretty nice, i'm not getting any snags. So that's good! The only thing i would say is just that smell so again, let me go ahead and put on my wig cap and then we can see how this wig looks. Okay, so my cap is pretty much on, as you guys can see, i'm kind of trying to push my locks to all be going towards the back, because i did have them kind of over to one side. I just like to do it that way, because i find that it helps my wigs to have just a better fit and a more comfortable fit for me. So this is about as good as it's going to get with my wig cap. So let's go ahead and put the wig on this. One is actually looking like it might be a little bit bigger than the last one. So i think that the last one was a real tight fit. So i think this one is going to be good, but let's see okay, yeah yeah. This is a great fit y'all. Oh my gosh! Oh yes, i love this. I love this already love it, and the headband is a lot wider than the headband was on the last wig that i have from amazon, and also it just feels like it's like a little bit more elastic like more stretchy. I'M really lacking this. I think this is going to be a better fit for me um, but i'm not knocking the other way, definitely check that video out because i've been wearing it like. I wear it to work all the time, love that wig. But let me go ahead and do the elastic yeah definitely the elastic on this one um yeah, you can get a tighter fit and i like that. I just like to be secure in the back and if you're gon na put your hair up in a ponytail. What you can do if it's tight enough on my other wig, i still do it. I really don't care, but if it's tight enough you can kind of tuck the back of the wig into the headband so that when you put your hair up, you know there are no gaps or anything like that. So i'm really feeling this. So this is what it looks like straight out of the package and it's not bad. I can see the more that i play with it like the bigger it's going to get, and so, if you're somebody who likes big hair, then that's definitely something that you can do. You can kind of run your fingers through it or pick it out and give yourself kind of like a more voluminous look. I saw someone who picked the roots of hers to make it look more natural, and i really like that. I might experience experiment with that. Sorry y'all, so this is what the wig looks like on my head. I haven't done anything to it. Besides, take it out of the package and i really like it, i'm really feeling the kinky straight. Look i'm so happy that i tried it y'all. I really really really love this. I think it's so pretty. I actually don't think i'm gon na do anything to it, because i think that with time and me like running my fingers through it or just kind of letting it be out of the packaging, i think that the little crinkles in it are going to go away. When i say crinkles, i'm not talking about the texture, i'm talking about like the bins, you can see it right here from it being in its packaging, but i actually think i'm going to leave it alone, like i didn't want to wear this for the rest of The evening i'm really feeling this wig so off the bat. My honest review that i would give you price point, i think, is great. It'S under a hundred dollars. I did order 16 inches and there was a sale on amazon. I don't know if it's still on sale, but i got ten dollars off. I got free shipping as well can't beat that and the shipping took three days so that was amazing. Packaging looks great love it. The only thing is that there was no wig cap, but if you're someone who wears a lot of wigs, you will already have a lot of weight caps. Probably, and if you don't wear a lot of wigs honestly, wig caps are like a dollar, maybe at the beauty, supply store and you can get like two in a pack for a dollar. So that's not really a bad thing. Um. As far as the hair goes out of the package like i said there is a little bit of a hair smell, but i don't smell it anymore. This is supposed to be a 1b and i think it picks up 1b on camera, but it looks pretty brown in the light. So that's something to be mindful of, but this is 100 human hair. So i do believe you can dye it and i will probably dye mine black just because i like for my hair to be black um other than that. Like i said great hair, you do have a little bit of a crinkle or a bend in the hair because of how it's packaged, but i think again with just running your fingers through it like it's, not really a problem anymore, and it's not that noticeable. You can also manipulate it. You can wear it up in a ponytail. If you want to, you, could do half up half down and, as you can see, you cannot see my wig cap here on the side. I'Ve seen people do the flip over with this. So it's very versatile, very easy. You can just throw it on and go perfect for beginners perfect for women who work out perfect for people who just want to be cute honestly, so this wig is definitely a win for me.
