Hello, youtube today is september the 17th friday and i just want to come on and talk to you about yet another, i'm totally addicted headband wig from amazon. This one is a curly wig. Look at that. This is so cute, so adorable. So i got this from amazon um and i was just looking for like curly kinky curly wigs and this one is not kinky curly. The curls are much on a like a water wave, looser um, feel and so much so that when it came in the packet, it kind of came like a hair net that you would have on your head. If you were like a cook um - and you didn't want like fly away hair to get in the food and stuff like that, and then inside that it was like kind of like a really um long, rectangular basic ziploc bag, and it had. This is 12 inches. 12 inches on the pack, and it was about 45 from amazon, but i will go back. Look in my previously ordered items. Get the exact name of the headband wig put it down there and um. I will also make sure that the length is exactly 12 inches, but when i got it, it was very soft, very very soft hair, but it didn't have this type of sheen or shine to it and the curls were not defined. It seemed to be more wavy and the ends were kind of on the straight side and, as you can see, when you look at the bottom here, this particular curl. If this were kinky curly, this would be tightly coiled at the bottom. Um and i've noticed a difference in like the um density it's hard to tell here, but this part of this headband wig seems very thick and you can't see through it but like if you look right here, i can see through this and i'm not used to That when i have kinky curly, clip-ins, um new part, wigs or anything like that, so i would be curious to try it and you can see the see-through at the end um. I would be curious to try to find a headband with that. Actually truly is kinky. Curly and tried that, because because i didn't like this, when it was dry, when it first came out the packet, i filled up my sink with warm water and put some shampoo. I actually use because this is a big old bottle that i've had for like a year, because i go through conditioner and leave-ins very quickly, but shampoos very slowly. So this is the care care shampoo, one. It'S a detangling, hydrating shampoo and i love detangling the hydrating shampoos because they don't strip the hair, but this actually does have cocoa. I thought it was coco batan, but that is not what that is. This is disodium laurel sulfur succinate. So this is a actual real detergent in here. So while this feels makes your hair feel juicy and you can kind of finger comb through it and detangle, this has sulfates in this. It'S gon na get your hair nice and clean too, and it has a nice smell to it. So and i love carrot care products. So when this came out of the bag, it did not smell bad, but it did smell kind of um on the chemical side. But it wasn't: um horrific, like i've, had smelt hair um that has been synthetic. This is a synthetic wig that it was like kind of unacceptable. This just had like a more um unnatural smell to it. So i did the swirl in the sink um with the um cara care, um, hydrating, detangling, shampoo and then after i did that i rinse it thoroughly grab a silicone conditioner, because i knew silicone is gon na give you that shine that still make the curls pop And so i grabbed none other than rubble, essence's, hello, hydration and you can just get this at any drugstore or grocery store, and this bottle, i think, was like four bucks i think at walmart. If i'm not mistaken, so you get a lot of bang for your buck, because this is 29 ounces for like four bucks and some change, but then i just took this and popped this on pumped this all in my hand, i think i did three pumps of The hello hydration on the left three pumps on the right raked it through after i ripped it through. I grabbed my handy dandy, denman brush and i just combed and for synthetic hair, i'm not as loving as i am with human hair. I did comb from root to tip. Don'T normally do that when you have your human hair, you're gon na work your way up, but i did because i was trying to rake it and get that definition. I didn't mean to brush that for real, okay, i'll, just re-wet that, because i totally screwed that up just now um but i brushed through it and then after i brushed it. I turned my head to the side and i did scrunch scrunch because i remember i was not liking the ends. I did scrunch scrunch and i literally did that this morning. So how my day works, is my boys get up at the crack of dawn? The school starts at 7, 00 am and they walk to school, so i watch them walk to school and then i get back in the bed because my daughter's school don't start until nine and um for whatever reason, because i never want to go outside to watch The boys, with a bonnet on, took the bond off left downstairs. Um banister came back upstairs hopping that bed with amber and i put the covers over my head, so i woke up looking crazy crazy, so my daughter was like what are you gon na? Do? I said we're gon na put a hair head on it's fine, because she's very aesthetically, conscious just like i was as a child. She got a daughter, so i threw this on and i wet it down. Did my little conditioner scrunch, but if you don't want to put up with that every morning, just get you a mannequin head from a beauty, supply store and prep this on a mannequin the night before wake up the next morning, the hair will be dry or mostly Dry plop it on when you're done for the day. Take it right back off, um and the curls won't get scared, and you won't have to do this for like two or three days, because curly hair is kind of weird. If you want hair that looks really shiny and defined, curly hair needs to be wet, whether it's human curly hair or synthetic curly hair on a regular basis. So i would say at minimum every three days um and then, if you really try to push it, maybe you can go once a week if you're not sleeping in your hair and if you are trying to sleep in your hair, just get a big scarf and Put it on like pull the hair up and put a big scarf on, or put one of those big huge bonnets on that you can get at any local beauty supply store. But i just want to show you guys, because when i put the wig on, i was trifling it it's like. My edges aren't even laid down. Okay um! I actually did get the bonnet stick it on, because i was like oh my hair's, not even braided. It'S crazy underneath here, so i got the bonnet put it on and tried to see if this wig would fit over the bonnet i'm about to take this off. This is the one time y'all will see me in a bonnet on on a tv on channel, but look it's just straps. It is a comb in the back and you are going to um. I literally have a bonnet on, but with this wig it has one comb in the back, no other combs anywhere else, because this is really held in place. Let me move this come closer by these straps, so you just put the straps where you want it to be for the tightness of your head, and i put this in the second to the last um little sleeve that it fits in when my hair is like This like not when my hair is like this like not braided or anything, then i will put it in the second to. Lastly, because my head is bigger that way, but if my hair were braided down, i would put it in the very last one um to make it fit tighter, but see this is what i was working with. This was actually worse than this one, this one, because right now i've had the bonnet on but um. Let me just okay, that's the best we can do for now, because i just literally like shoved my hair in that um in the wig, but clearly i basically had my hair in this bonnet and just put the wig put it as tight as i needed to Put it put the wig on: did the straps engage, the comb wet it with some water, defined it with some conditioner and a denman brush, and i was out of the door and as it dried throughout the day it became fluffier. My only complaint about the hair is, like i said, i'm used to when you wear hair enhancement, so to speak, like sew-ins, when you do u-part wigs when you do clip-ins and it's curly hair, your hair is thick and voluminous much more so than a regular head Of hair will be - and that seems a little thin to me, so i am going to try another um headband wig from amazon i'm trying to just because i don't know what i'm really doing yet um do the economical, um, headband, wigs and then work my way Up but i will say, let me grab the wig sorry about that um. It is black on the inside. So even if the wind blows on you - because this is black you're - not gon na get embarrassed publicly um and the wig's not going to play you. There are tracks in here, but it's also on a black base. It'S not like a full wig where the inside the cap might be flesh tone or something like that. I just feel like if the wind blows, even if i turn the hair over you're, not really gon na see anything. So i don't feel like this is gon na oopsie. I don't feel like this is going to play me publicly. If um, you know the wind blows and some thin sparse areas get moved around, it's still not going to be bad, but i do think this is beautiful. The loose kind of wave thing going on the water wave um. I just still want to hunt for something a little bit tighter curl. That looks more like what my hair looks like um, or at least i can get it to a point where i can. If it's a little bit kinkier or a little bit coiler coilier, i can twist it out myself and make it look more like my hair, if you really wanted to do it right now, like i did on the go, you could also use edge control and these Little brushes right here, i also got this from amazon. The pack came with a black and a pink and you could go over your edges, lay them down with some edge control. You could actually flat twist your hair or braid your hair and then put the um headband wig on, and it would look even more seamless because obviously my kinkier texture hair with that water, wave hair and my edges not laid down. It was like not as believable and we're not going to fake people out, but we are trying to like not look like a character or caricature of ourselves, but because it was literally like five minutes to drop her off. I was just like i'm trying not to leave out of this house with my hair lopsided from sleeping without a bonnet and i'm trying not to drop her off with a bonnet on. So that was the happy medium. But if you're new to you part ways - and you want to try something, an easy way to get into them - it's just buy a wig from amazon. I haven't seen any wigs in the shorter links above 50 on amazon when you start getting to like fourteen fifteen. Six well even the 14 lengths are pretty cheap, but when you get to 16 to 24 inches headband wigs, then they start becoming a little bit more pricier in the 80s, 90s um low 100s. But if you want a wig under dollars, i would say: go for it. I would get a staple if you're um relaxed in a like a yaki type of texture, um that mimics relaxed hair and a curly wig and the looser curly wigs would be great. They would just think you did like a braid out or something like that and then, if you have hair, that's more like mine, i would do like an italian yankee or a true kinky um straight hair, like the video that i showed you i'll link that in The description box previously um and i would do a curly wig and you've got lots of options with curly, wigs um, but just hang in there. For me. If you know some of the kinky curly headbandwigs leave one in the description box and we're trying to be economical when we share things, we don't want to be something that's going to break the bank um and i'd be happy to try it on and see what I can do with it, so thanks so much for watching if you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe and share join the community, and you can also catch me over on instagram um on there. I share more real time. What'S going on in my life and follow me on facebook thanks so much for watching bye,

DivaintheDetails: So I thought this hair was synthetic but the description from Amazon says this is actually a human hair headband wig so the faint initial chemical odor must be from whatever processing was done to the hair to get the curly/wavy curl pattern. After I conditioned the hair, I no longer smelled that odor and the hair smells like my conditioner now.
