Half Up Half Down Tutorial, Blonde/Highlight Cheap Amazon Wig Ft Aaliweya Hair

Hello, beautiful welcome back to my channel, so today's video is going to show you how i went from this to this and it's going to be a tutorial. Slash watch me. Do my hair and look at this pretty wig. I went ahead and bleached and plucked the knots off camera so for this install, i am doing the ball cap method. I don't always do this because i do feel like it pulls out your edges, but my braids are looking so bad, so i have to some of this. Video is sped up, and some of this video is in real time. I did speed up the parts where i feel like you can just look and learn and then the other parts that are in real time. I feel like those are the most important parts do do there. She goes betty with a baldie. So right now i'm just doing the first try on with these wigs, because you know my head is so big and my braids are so crazy. Just wanted to see if it fits and then i'm taking it off my head, because i'm gon na go ahead and cut the lace, and this is my method to cut my lace. I go up down up down and i'm gon na show you what the lace looks like once it's all cut off. So this is what the lace looks like once it's all cut off a rigid jacket line. Oh excuse, my nails. Please! Now i'm going to go ahead and take my lace. Usually i use my makeup, but i'm going to be using my lace, tint that i just got and that i just used in my last video. I have to really learn how to um use it. It'S okay for the most part, but i'm going to start. You know finessing it! Then i'm going to go ahead and cut the back of the lace off. This doesn't have to be perfect. I'M also going to go ahead and cut those combs that are always in the middle of the wig out, because they can definitely pull your hair out and they tend to be uncomfortable and useless. In my opinion, so yeah they got ta go now, i'm going to go ahead and cut off the ear tabs on both sides. Just make sure the wig lays between your hair and your ear that little skin space and not over your ear, because that's definitely going to be uncomfortable and it's not going to fit. So before i lay my wig down i'm going to hot comb, the roots, i don't want a messy melt and this is going to get the hair out of my way out of the lace way, and so i won't get on the glue. You can do this off your head, but i didn't want to take it off my head again. So i'm doing it on my head either way works. I usually do both ways. It really doesn't matter. So now i'm going to be melting, the wig i'm going to be applying my bold hold active glue and for some reason my glue is not coming out. So i went ahead and poked the hole in it and then that made it easier to come out, but then you'll see what happened, wait for it. That happened. A lot came out, but this is why i use my finger because it lets me control the glue lets me wipe off what is too much what i don't need, but it all worked out. It all dry, clear. I smoothed it out and i applied three layers of the glue once that's all dry and clear, make sure it's clear we're going to go ahead and put the lace on the glue and you want to make sure the lace is on the glue or in front Of it, you do not want it behind the glue, because it's going to be really messy, so i went ahead and did the middle first and then i did both sides make sure you're just laying it where it lays and not pulling it to lay where you Want it to lay if that makes sense, because you're gon na end up getting those ripples and it's gon na look crazy right now, i'm just applying glue to wherever there wasn't glue for the lace um. You can do like really light layers of this and then go ahead and lay it down now that the wig is glued down. I'M gon na go ahead and put my elastic band to melt it, and now i'm going to also prepare my hair to style it. I am hot combing, the roots just so it lays flat and it looks sleek so for this ponytail look, i always go ahead and part about half an inch on the sides. I just feel like it looks better that way versus putting the whole thing in a ponytail, and then i go ahead and part it all the way across from my pony for my actual ponytail uh, these cheap wigs, the construction of them are not really made to Part like evenly across they're like a u-shape, so you just want to like do the best you can. If you get a wig that has this type of construction. Sometimes i do this style on the mannequin head and then apply it to my head, because for one keeping my arms up like that is very tiring and then also with the mannequin head, you can part evenly. You can see what you're doing, but either way. Whichever way you want to do it's all up to you, so here's what i mean these wigs are just made so weird like the middle, is not the same as the sides, so your ponytail is going to come out correct, but i just wish it had more Parting space on the side - and it would just be so much better that way now, i'm just hot combing this just to get it out my way for when i do the ponytail, i don't want to end up grabbing it and mixing it in with my ponytail. So i'm hot combing it just to get it out. My way, i always got to take a little candy break, of course. So this is how i style the back. I just flat iron it, and i do that to both sides. It'S all up to you how you want to do the rest of your hair after the ponytail, but i just like to find it and then i bump the ends. This wig was supposed to be a 20 inch body wave, but it's given more of a 14 inch, but it doesn't matter because the look i was going for was supposed to be up to my boobs anyway, so i'm gon na go ahead and trim the ends. I just wish it was a little thicker, but either way i'm gon na make it look good. So now that the wig is melted down, i'm going to go ahead and part out. My baby hairs make sure you do this before you do your ponytail, because you don't want to have to take your ponytail out and get some hairs for the baby hairs. Just don't forget this step, so i'm using a rubber band for this step because they stretch more than a scrunchie does, and i, like my ponytail, to be tight. So that way it doesn't come out sooner than i want it to make sure you spray your ponytail with some form of holding spray that way it lasts longer. I really should have did this before. I actually did the ponytail, which is what i usually do. So there's no flyaways, but either way, don't forget this step, make sure you are cutting your baby hairs at like a slant like a layer. Type thing, don't cut it straight across because it's gon na look bad for this specific baby hair. Look you're going to split it in two and curl: it first you're gon na spray, your holding spray. So that way, when you curl it, it stays and then you're going to split it in two and then you're going to curl the first piece you can curl it under or over either way. It comes out the same way and then you're going to curl the other piece make sure when you're using these little flat, irons you'd be really careful. I definitely burned myself and it was so uncomfortable, but i had to keep my game fakes on, but i definitely do have a scab now. So just be careful do so first you're going to want to put some type of gel or edge control, whatever you use to hold your baby hairs down, just put it on like the roots and then you're going to do it. How you do your baby, hair and then you're going to take the curl part and like wrap it around your finger and that's what's going to create that circle here and then, once you get it off your finger, you kind of want to you kind of want To like mold it to where you want it to be, just watch you'll see. So, as you can see, i have little flyaways and this is why you want to make sure you put the holding spray before you actually put the hair in a ponytail. It'S going to help you avoid this issue, i'm one of those people like i'm, not a symmetry type of person. What i do to one side is like: i just can't get it right on the other, but either way you know you get the concept now just play with my baby hairs. You know i can do this all day until they are how i want them to be, and then i bump the ends of my hair.
