Trying Something New! Youth Beauty Afro Kinky Curly Headband Wig

Hey guys welcome back to my channel. My name is mikima for those of you who are new here and if you are a returning subscriber. Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel. So in today's video, i'm gon na be reviewing another headband wig. Not this one, i already have a video on my channel of this one um, but this one is from a company called youth beauty. I had never heard about this company, but i was pleasantly surprised when i went to their website and they had so many different options to choose from from straight curly body wave and like uh, kinky, hair, textured, uh kind of wigs so um. I picked a afro kinky curly headband wig. So that's what i'm gon na be reviewing here today um. I did pick a wig that is out of my comfort zone. This isn't a kind of wig that i would typically pick when i purchase wigs um only because it my natural hair is already kind of like this, so i wouldn't really get a wig um like that, because my hair is already like that. If you know what i mean so um, but i did pick it because i wanted to give it a try - and i knew my mom would really like this wig. So i really wanted to do something that she could kind of benefit from so yeah. So, like i said, the name of the company is called youth beauty and off the back immediately. The first thing that i noticed from this company is their packaging is amazing, and so i'm going to show you how i got the wig and what it comes with, and things like that. So it comes in this nice um, like you know, like a dry cleaning bag kind of thing. So it comes in this. They give you a pack of wig caps, so you get a two piece pack of wig caps and you get. I got three headbands and they were. They are very nice headbands they're, not like flimsy little cheap kind of headbands. So that was like surprising for me, so this is one of them. It'S this really nice black kind of mesh material with really sparkly gold flecks in it love it, and then this blue velvet headband here love and it's really thick and stretchy, and this is just a really good quality headband and then my favorite one is this um Leopard or cheetah print headband love, it really thick, really stretchy and it kind of crisscrosses in the front, so really really nice headbands. So then the wig comes in a little bag like this, and the wig that i got is their headband wig 12 inch, natural color, afro, kinky curly and it's the average size cap um. So yes, so this is what the wig looks like very kinky, very, very kinky. So my hair texture isn't quite this kinky, but it's very similar. I would say this is like a 4c. I would say my hair is like a 4b texture, 4b4c texture in some areas, so it's similar to my hair texture, but not quite this kinky. But - and this is what the inside of the cap looks like as well very standard for a headband wig. You get three clips in the front one in the back. You have the elastic um headband that velcros in the back, and then this one actually has an adjustable strap for you to pull it even tighter if you need to so that's really good. So i'm gon na try this on guys. Let'S see what it looks like okay, so my hair is just braided straight back. If you have short hair, you can just pull it back into a ponytail. Whatever um you can just leave your edges out or not. I'M gon na show you guys that you, if you have thinning edges or if you don't have edges at all um, you can still use headband wigs. You just pull it up a little further and it still looks really nice in my opinion. So, let's put it on okay, all right, okay, so this is the wig on for this week. I'M just going to use my hand to fluff it out. If you really want to stretch it, you can definitely use some water and spray it on the hair and pull it out. I'M sure you can do twist outs on this wig as well, because it's your natural hair texture, so it's great i'm just going to fluff. It out into a little afro okay. So let me pop on a headband, so let me show you guys: if you don't have many edges or you have thinning edges, all you do is wear it like this, like you just wear it like this with it directly on your hairline and it's still really Cute, like you, don't have to push it all the way back. If, if you don't want to all right, so i'm going to pull my hair back, pull the headband back, though, just because i want to leave out a little bit of my edges. Okay, so this is how i would wear this really cute. This is not a wig that i would typically go for, but i like it really really cute, but then again my hair does this itself. So i could just do a twist off of my hair and achieve this look. But that's the whole point of a headband wig is that it's just throw on and go super easy. You don't have to twist out, you don't have to set use gel and all that literally just throw it on and go so i really like this one yeah guys, so that is it for this wig. I am really impressed with you beauty.
