Best Protective Style For Natural Hair! A Headband Wig??? || Ft. Hergivenhair

Hey guys, what's up, it's queenie here, welcome back to my channel. Thank you for clicking on this video, so the last video i did of this. You guys loved it. So i thought i would come back and show you another version of this. These headband wigs have been saving me, so i wanted to try the um, the kinky straight version just to see how much more versatile it is or if you're, just you know into something, that's less maintenance. In my opinion, i find kinky straight to be a little bit easier, just a little bit than getting like a coily unit, so i wanted to come on here and show you guys the options for headband wig. That is straight okay, so this hair, of course, is from her given hair same as the last video. The only thing i will say, though, is that this unit has been straightened just like a quick run to make it a little bit flatter a little bit smoother, but i'll insert the picture of what it looks like in its natural state. It just looks like a blown out, kinky texture, so it's a little bit bigger and it's a little bit more coarse and it's a little bit you know, has a bit more texture. Let'S get right into this, just like the last video. I don't really know how this is gon na go. This is my first time trying this. It fits the same as the previous one. I believe you can see it has. The built-in headband right here has some clips in the actual headband. It has actual adjustable bands that can tighten the actual headpiece. You can actually tighten with these if you want to tighten the whole headpiece, the whole wig and then the headband itself has its own adjustable velcro straps that you can tighten around your forehead. So there's a lot of room, so velcro yeah, so there's a lot of room to adjust this unit. So i'm going to put this back on and we're going to play with it and see how it fits. So i just tightened it a little bit to fit. My head better a little bit tighter and then now i'm going to use the velcro pieces here to tighten the actual headband in the front. I like i want it to come low, so this is how it looks in the back all right. So this is on and it's nice and secure. Obviously, this hair can be worn like this. I like the way it looks straightened. I think you could also do a side part if you prefer like this. It looks very like hippie-ish right now, with this black headband and the straight long hair, to make it more wearable in this straight state. I think i would prefer to use a different headband and i'd probably push this back a little bit and work with my edges. So i'm going to pull this like this we're going to swoop some edges forward and then put a different headband on it. So it looks a little bit cuter for like every day, okay, so this is honestly, probably the most ideal style for myself. This saves my edges. This saves my time. This saves everything. I love how this looks now that i've, you know, pulled out my edges and put on a cuter headband. This is not um, something that comes with it. You can obviously use whatever headband you like, depending on your outfit, make it match, but i love how this looks like this is gon na. Be me every day guys i am obsessed okay, so let's try a different style. I think it's safe to say that having a straight middle part with some edges and a headband is a look so with this i mean you guys saw with the other one. It comes with this nice tube headband, so i'm gon na make a style. I'M gon na try to style it with this as well, and let's try to do some french braids because that's another look that i feel like will come in handy this summer. So i'm going to take off this headpiece headband and put this one on this one. Actually comes with the wig, yes, okay! Now i'm going to go ahead and part it and we're going to braid i'm going to fluff out these pieces okay. So this is definitely the perfect going to the grocery store. Stepping out look where you just want to throw something on your head. Oh my goodness, i cannot wait to be able to step out with this. I'M gon na turn around and show you guys what it looks like braided. Even though it's not a lace wig. Let'S see how it looks in the back, i'm gon na see this when you guys see this, so hopefully it's not too bad. I love this look i feel like this. Is the perfect stepping out look, you don't have to do anything. You can literally pull this off and put it on just like this and then, when you take out these braids it'll have a nice wave to it. So that's even better okay! So let's move on to the next style. Now i'm going to try to do a nice high ponytail, because if i can get that then my summer is complete. I want to be able to pull this up out of my face. Have um the back of my neck covered? Have my edges kind of covered? You know what i mean, so let's try and pull this into a high ponytail style and see how sleek we can get it. Now that the wig is on my head, you want to adjust it and make sure it's not going anywhere. Okay. So now, of course, you can go in with any headband of your choice. I'M gon na go back in with this one, just because i love how secure it is and it'll help keep this all in place. Okay, so this ponytail was also very easy. Honestly, i i could tighten it, i'm not sure i don't want it to be too tight and then i'd be struggling to stay on my head. So i thought i would do a nice loose ponytail and it looks really good. I think this looks great. This is also an easy. I need to get out of the house kind of style, it's hard to get it into a tight ponytail, just because it's a wig and it's not secured like it's not glued to the front of your face. So you have to be careful how tight you're pulling it upwards because it can come off if it's not clipped in or you know, doesn't have some sort of adhesive. You know what i mean and then, of course you can pull this into a bun if you'd like, i actually wore it out like this the other day, and it looks super cute, a nice messy, bun kind of looks like you just threw your hair up you're. Just trying to get out of the house, you know something like this. You can also do all right, so i think those are three pretty good experimental styles. I think those are the only ways i would probably wear this wig just because i'm trying to save time, if i want to do something more extravagant, obviously, that's probably for a special occasion. I could put some wand curls through this - put some nice sort of um african print head scarf on here. You know make it look amazing. I could do so much with this, but for everyday type of stuff. I probably wear it just like this down with a headband or in the two braids or in a ponytail or in a bun. I think those are the only two ways that i would wear this right now, but i will definitely do some tutorials of when i want to make it look a bit more fancy and i put some nicer headpieces on it and you know make it look, make It look special so all around, i think it's super convenient. It was able to do the styles that i wanted. You just have to be careful and make sure it's nice and secure to your head, and you know you order the right size and you'll be good. There'S a lot of different ways to adjust it, so i like that and yeah, i think the ponytail and the braids everything was cute. Everything was cute. I would definitely be wearing the braids a lot and just wearing it just like this okay, so i hope you guys enjoyed this little tutorial and this little trial.
