My First Headband Wig | How To Lay Your Edges | Dsoar Hair ♡

Hey honeys, my name is maisha levay and i'm back with another video. So today i'm going to show you guys how i do my edges as well as install this headband wig, to create this beautiful style. It comes with no lace, so that means it requires no glue. It'S in the length 22 inches. If you guys are interested in watching me, do my hair go ahead and keep on watching so to stab my edges, i'm going to be using some eco styler gel, and this is what i'm going to use to form them. I'M also going to be using some edge control, and this is the tool i'm gon na be using. So i'm gon na go ahead and start off pulling out my baby hairs. I'M just gon na brush a little bit forward. I'M not gon na do too much, not too dramatic, just like some natural everyday baby hairs, so i usually go by my hairline so right now you can see my hair lines like this and then it goes in right here comes out on the sides and then Go back in and dip so i always go with the natural pattern of my hairline, so they can look like they just automatically lay the way that i'm gon na make them lay so something like an everyday baby. Hair, look nice, cute and sleek. So i'm taking some of these eco styler gel and put it on the back of my hand, i'm gon na start with the side first, because sometimes the front can be a little bit tricky y'all. My baby hairs are so long, they're, not even baby hairs anymore, but so i'm go ahead and swipe some of the eco styler gel on my little side hairs and you can see they already formed themselves. So that's what i like to do. I like to just go with the natural flow of my hairline. Now this is a hard bristle brush, so you can use like a two brush. That'S normally what i use. I really don't use the calm side for my edges, because it's a little, i don't know it's just gon na form them right. For me, i need something. That'S gon na lay them down at the same time, get them the way that i wan na go, and i like to like chase my finger behind it. Just so. I can know that everything is going to be smooth and you know, lay down with a little bit more eco style gel. I really use the eco style gel for slippage. I'M gon na turn this way so y'all can see. Now you can pull more hair. If you want it to be thicker and more dramatic, but today i'm going with something a little bit soft push those hairs up and make sure they're all going in one section. First, baby hair down go in with some more gel, then we're going to start on baby hair number two, and this is like, where my hairline kind of comes back out. So this one right here since it's like a smaller section, i don't like to have it really dramatic, but enough where you can see it, so you see how it's just going with the natural flow of my hairline. That'S how i want my baby hairs to be very natural. You just have to play around with them until you get them just the way you want them. If you mess it up, that's cool just you know, dab your finger. Put some more of the eco styler gel and start forming again so go ahead. Now i don't want to swoop it that way, i'm going to swoop it outwards first, but i like a little curl right here, so scoop it out and down. So now that i see i got them where i actually want them to be, i'm gon na go in with the edge control and kind of like seal everything in because, if i just use the gel, if i sweat or anything like that, they're gon na curl Up and they're gon na move and i'm go back with my brush again and make sure they're exactly the way i want them to be. As you see with the edges, you have to keep going over them over and over until you get them how you like them. If i do that, where it got to be it's for sure, gon na turn white, so i'm gon na get some more eco style. Chill and gelled it right there we're just gon na swoop it over. Here, i'm not going to do like a dramatic swoop, just something nice and simple: i'm going to take my edge control and smooth it on there. So now i'm going to go ahead and do this side just like. I did this side because you want them to match. You don't want to have like three over here and then only two or four over here, so you want them to match. So i'm going to do the exact same thing. I did on this side over here so now my edges are done and i went ahead and got dolled up, but this is the wig that i'm well like. I was saying this is the wig that i'm going to be installing. It is a headband. We y'all, i'm so excited to try this. So it's all tricks, no lace. It does have combs three combs at the top and just one at the bottom and where this little black band is this is the headband part is scraps. Oh, that's a rough scrap, so we know it's going to hold and this part is small, but this is long, so you can make it as tight as you want or as loose as you want, based off your preference, and it is oh shoot really tough. So hopefully it doesn't go anywhere we're going to see how security feels so y'all just have some braids on or braids in under here. So i'm going to put this wig on sis. I really don't like to leave my combs and wigs, but since this is a headband wig and we're really not going to have much security, i'ma go ahead and leave them in feeling pretty nice and snug already that's before i attach the band so y'all. This is actually cute without adding the accessory band that it comes with. So if you just want to wear it with one band, that's cute: it's gon na be cute. It'S giving me school girl, vibes and these edges go perfect with it, because it's not too much. It'S just right, so this is the only headband that it came with and i'm really a little bit disappointed, because since this is a headband wig and you have to wear it with hairbands, i would like at least two head bands to alternate between. They just give you one, so i guess i got ta buy my own, but this is cute, so i flattered the hair on my own. This did come body wave that completes this video.
