Quick Protective Style For Severe Alopecia | Headband Wig| Instant Edges

Hi everybody welcome back to my channel, so today's video is a video that i wanted to um record to give a update and to also let you know that you can do different styles with your alopecia um. Today'S style is going to be a headband wig. This is how it looks so bobby. Boss is the brand that i always would go to when i wear wigs um recently, i've been wearing like lace wigs, but when i used to wear synthetic wigs bobby box was the only wig that i used to wear. So when i went to the beauty supply, i found a bobbi boss, headband wig, which is this one right here, um premium synthetic wig, i don't think she got a name. Her name is bad dude, one all right. So her name is baby one. But before we get into the wigs um i'ma, let you know that i wash my hair um. I put these um. This is the product that i use for my curls today this. I really like this. I could find this at um um cbs, so i couponed this at cvs. They had a printable coupon, for this is my first time using i really like it. It made my curls look really great. You all can see that my curls look really great with this. So i put some of this in even though i'm not wearing my hair curly today, i just um, i don't know, wanted to see what it was going to do and it made my curls look so great um. So this is how my alopecia looks and then this is how the other side looks, and then this is how the front looks. Okay. So before i install my wig, i'm just going to braid my hair into two braids and that's it. I'M gon na braid the two braids, i'm gon na bring my hair up bobby, pin it and that's it. I usually don't like wear um like stocking caps, or nothing like that under my wheels because i get hot. So if it's a wig that i don't have to put a stocking cap on, i don't um for the headband wig, i'm not going to put a stocking cap on so um. When i come back, my hair is going to be braided and i think i'm going to add some lashes on and then, when i come back, it'll be time to apply the wig so we're doing a headband wig. Today, yes, let's go okay, so i have braided my hair into two little braids and then i have bobby pin um the braid like here. So that's like my hair, that's going to be out right here and i just pulled it up. I don't do anything. I might actually pull it to the back. Something like that. I don't do anything spectacular. I just wanted to lay down okay, so this is my leave out um. I don't quite know what kind of baby hairs i'm gon na do yet. So this is my leave out for that um. I don't know which way i'm going to wear it. So i just pretty much left out my hairline um, okay. So, let's get into the specs of the wig again. This is the bad dough um. Here, i'm going to show you the thing, so this is the bad new wig badou w bad new w i paid 34.99, so about 35 at the beauty supply. I got 20 percent off of that so about what seven dollars or something like that. Something is all look okay, so about seven dollars, so these are the specs of the wig. It'S a wavy wig. I love wavy hair. I love wavy. Hair wavy hair works the best for me, especially when you're wearing synthetic wigs i feel like wavy hair, looks and more natural um. I really don't get like straight hair. I mostly get wavy hair. Okay, so here are the specs. That'S the hairband that you put on um. It comes with okay, so, like i said, let me um tell you the specs of the wig, so this is how the wig looks on the inside and it's just a regular cap wig and then this is the adjustment part. So this is what this little button. That'S what help adjust the wig to your head to get it tighter all right, so you undo the button and you just pull the little strap right here and you put it on a tightness of adjust it to your head. So it's just a little button that you do and then your hand should be uh. It should be ready, after that, all right, so i'm gon na take all the little tags off and i'm adjusting to my head and then, when i come back, i have the wig on, and this is how the texture look. I forgot to show you how the texture look, but this is how the texture look. It'S just a wavy full, it's a full wavy wig. That was one of the things i liked about bobby balls. They, their wigs, are not like them wigs. They have really full wigs and that's what i like um it's about. I would say it's about a 20 inch wig, maybe a 22 inch. This is probably about 22 inches and it's in a in the um color too. It'S in the color too, and also you can curl this wig he's safe, he's styling, so you can also curl this wig. I usually don't curl my um wavy wig. I just put some mousse in it and then, when it started looking too regularly, i just go ahead and get another one. All right so put the wig on. Let you all see how it looks before i do my baby hairs and all that stuff i'll be right back. Okay, so i have added the wig on. I pull i'm pulling it back, so i can do um my edges and i don't want to get any product on it um. The reason why i put the wig on first before i put um my product on is because i didn't want to disturb it after you know putting a wig on. I don't want to disturb, and then i so that was the reason why i'm doing my baby hair is now um. Okay, so i'm using my um edge control, um mixed with the eyeliner um method. That'S the method that i use. That'S the video that i um that has the most views, i'm using my uh rimmel london, gel eyeliner is waterproof and then i mix it with my edge booster, which is this i just pretty much mix mix it on the top and then um after that. I just pretty much started to apply it, so i'm gon na mix it now um in the video i give i'll go in depth on how i mix my edge control up. So if you haven't seen that video i'm a link in the description box below but um, that's the video, where i link on how i apply my edge control or how i mix it all that is in that um, video, okay. So i'm just gon na mix the eggs control and then once i mix it, i'm gon na figure out how i'm gon na do these here. The only thing i don't like about this wig is this is kind of loose and i think the reason why it don't have any combs in it and i think the reason they did. That is because you got to put a handbag on it. So that'll give you a little bit more security um. But to be honest, i like, when wigs have combs in them. So i don't know how long i'll be wearing this, because i don't feel like it's that secure, but it is what it is. I'M just gon na put a headband on and um go from there. I guess so. This is how it looks once i mix it. Can you see that it just looks like black edge control once i mix it, so i'm just gon na i like applying it with a brush. Sometimes i apply with my hands to kind of finick it a little bit and make it looking more make it look more natural. So whatever is best for you, i do it with a brush and i do with my hands. So i'm just basically filling in the gap. I think i'm just gon na fill in this part right here and i'm gon na put a couple of, like i guess, hairs um, like baby hairs towards the end all right, so i'm just gon na apply this on my leave out and you just pretty much Fill in the areas that are thin and then once i fill in everything, i'm going to um, set it with some hairspray, so it won't move it's kind of hard to do it. This way, i'm just going to turn this way and do it for a little while, so i can get everything together, okay, so i'm just gon na fill this all the way in and then i'll be right back after i'm done. Okay, so i'm done applying um. The edge gel to my um edges, i didn't do that many baby hairs because i don't know it seemed like if you concentrate on baby hairs it just like when they start moving. You got ta like keep on redoing them, and i just don't have time for that. So i pretty much just slip. Stick my hair over again like that and just kind of pushed it this way too, and then i left a little bit of sideburns out so right here and right here. My little curly sideburn right here is curling up a little bit all right. So now what i do is again, since this don't feel so secure. I added a bunch of bobby pins to it. I got some bobby pins from the dollar tree and i kind of put it on here to secure it to make me feel more secure. So i added it throughout the week um just like again to make it feel more secure, um. I haven't added the headband. Yet when i come back on and add a pretty hair band to it and i'll have to do my lashes honey, because i can't go another day without lashes, i already went i'm like a week or two without lashes. I can't do it no more all right. So this here um it's really soft too it's soft um, i usually add some water or something to it. Maybe some um, like conditioner and sand lotion, i usually add to a little nairobi. I have like all my own little mixture that i add to it. So that's what i add to it um, but for right now i'm going to set my hair. So what i usually do is spray my hair with some kind of spritz. So maybe like this. This is what i got right now, but any holding spray will work. So i set it so i spray it with this and then i put a scarf on and i set my um um. I see that so it gets a little messy too. That'S what i just used, though, to make it alright, so i set it so after i spray it, i put my wig um, not my wig cap. I put my scarf on and then i kind of just i'm probably gon na get in the shower and then when i get back out, i'm gon na do my lashes. Then, when i come back on here, i'm gon na show you what um headband that i decided to add to my hair. So that's how the headband it was super. Easy too only thing i didn't like that. It is not as secure as i wanted to be. Other than that it was super easy, like i put on a hat and that's it so if i didn't have to do my edges, i probably would have been out the dough. So here we go again. This is how i let me show you how i look in the back: okay and then i'm going to come back again with the finished hair. Wig i'll be right back okay, so i just got done with my hair. So this is how it turned out. I got like a little headband. Let me turn this around. Let me turn it on this way, so i got this hair band from i don't know some website. I can't remember amazon. I think i got it from amazon matter of fact, and my hair turned out really great only thing i don't like about this hair is that it's like thick. If i would have been at home because i'm not at home, i would got some um thinning shears and i would have thinned it out. I don't like when it's short and like thick. I don't like that. I don't like when it's short and thick, so i want to thin it out. Broke it's okay. It'Ll do it'll, do that's all it is it'll. Do i ain't tripping about it? That'S cute, i guess all right. So that is my review on this week. Like i said, the only thing that i don't like about it is um, it don't have no calms in it, so i don't feel secure. So i just put a bunch of bobby pins in and so i feel more secure about it, and then that was it. I just pretty much shook it. I put a little bit of uh um like what is it called mousse or like some spray on it, and then that was it all right, um, that's the end of this review.
