What'S up love gang, it's your girl, shannon love and i'm back in it again with another video, and today i'm going to show you guys how to make a lace, frontal wig, how to pluck it and then how to install it using hair from my company at Top notch luxury beauty, so the first thing you guys see me doing is bleaching the knots. This is important because the notch on every lace front tool comes black, so you have to bleach it so that it's uh, orangish or transparent color. It turns like more like orange and it mimics the scalp better than um than black knot. So you have to bleach the knots to get the most natural look and i am using a 40 volume developer with my bw2 powder in a mixture that is thick enough. So that it does not fall off of the knife - and i left that on there for 30 minutes and then after that, it's time to start placing the frontal on the wig cap, so i use dome caps to make my wigs and i'm using a size 22. I believe um weekend, that's like the most average size, so that's the size that i went with now when it comes to placing your frontal on the wig cap. You want to place it at least one or two inches before the dome cap, and that just gives it space so that the wig fits better um. So i start off with just pinning it down and you pin it. It all depends on how much pins you want in there to keep it secure, and the way it's supposed to be is that it's supposed to have her m um form for a m shape in the front, and that's how you know that you did it correctly And that just helps it fit more, and then you have to make sure the back is flat. Now it's time to start sewing that on there and it's just been pretty like self-explanatory, the storm part to me, you sew and then you wrap around the thread two times around the needle. Then you pull through it's honestly easier to look than so. That'S what i'm saying, because it may confuse you the way. I say it, so it's better! If you guys just look at what i'm doing and for the front apart, you want to make sure that you sew very close together, so that some parts of the frontal doesn't um lump up and look stupid. So you sew really close together for the front so because you want that frontal to be flat and laid okay, okay, so for this wig i'm using three bundles of 28, 26 and 24, all straight bundles and look how silky it is make sure you follow us On instagram, at top notch underscore looks. I'M gon na leave all the descriptions i'm gon na leave the links in the description box down below. Now, i'm showing you guys now how i attach the wefts together, so i basically pull them together. I get my thread. Push it through both of them and that's how i just get it together, so that it's easier before i just place it and it's not already attached. If you understand what i mean, i hope that, like i hope that what i say is helps you guys, because i feel like sometimes when i'm talking, i don't make any sense, but i hope it makes sense so once you get that secure, that is when it's Time to attach it to the zone cap and after that i feel like it's very ex self-explanatory, like i don't know how to explain sewing like i'm, not a sewist, but i just know how to sew things until a big cap or don't cap. So, okay, you wrap around twice, pull it through, make sure that's secure. Then you do that again to make sure that it's really really really really really secure, because you want to make sure that no bundles are slipping off your weight because that's just not cute, especially if you making for somebody you will not want to buy texture. Like. Oh, my god, my wig is falling apart. You don't want that so make sure that it's very, very, very secure on there. Okay um. You also want to make sure that you're sewing close together too for the bundles. But honestly me, i don't sew that close together, because it's like once it's secure on there, it's secure on there, so you don't really have to um go as close as you were with the front, so you could have a little more space between them and putting Pins in the bundles um helps speed up the process, some more because it just keeps it in place. You wouldn't have to keep holding the bundle as you sew, so i use pins to pin that right in there. I really want to get into making um wigs on a sewing machine because it'll be way faster, like this takes me a little bit too long for my liking. So i'm trying to learn how to do it on a sewing machine, but it seems really really really hard like. I was watching a video and it was too much for me and then on top of it, the sewing machine was like almost three hundred dollars, which i don't mind because i'm gon na make it back from making the wigs. But it's like, i don't know if i really want to pay that, because i look at the reviews and they was talking about about it - they was like. Oh this didn't work for this week for a month and after that was done. So i don't know, but maybe i'll buy one and try to start making my ways on a sewing machine. If i do when i get the hang of i'll, make a youtube, video and show y'all put y'all on, because that is going to be way faster. Like this takes for like two hours, um yeah like two hours or maybe a hour, it just depends on how fast i'm working and like the day. It is because, honestly, when i'm making wigs, i like to stop eat start back, stop lay down start back. Watch a little bit of tv, then i start back so it's like. I never do a straight through, but okay, so now i'll show you guys how i flip over. So it's a flip over. I sew all the way to the end and then what i like to do is i like to um flip it over before i start sewing, and then i pin it all up so pin it up now. I'M gon na show you time to tell you what i do after that, making sure that it's um equal spacing like throughout the whole thing um in the back. I like to do it a little spacey to make sure that um has enough for the whole head and then at the end, i'll, like go back and make sure that it's really enough. Well, at the end, i like to go back and just fill in the spaces so that it's basically full all right. So now that it's pinned i like to um, give it a little space and then it's like i anchor it flat. So i left a little space and then like a little like a half inch into the bundle. Uh, that's but that's where i sew. So it's like it's like a kind of anchor method or whatever so that it holds it flat or pulls it flat or whatever. The case is now: i'm just sewing again very self-explanatory by the way i am double wrapped in, if you didn't realize so, double weft sew that back it's just like the most repetitive thing ever so one thing i do it's like for these parts, i don't like Wrap it around the needle twice, i just um wrap it around the needle once but like on the edges, i like to wrap around twice to make sure that those parts are like really secure, so make sure that those parts aren't going anywhere and i'm going to. Let you guys watch the video of me. Um sewing it and i'll be right back to talk your head off a little bit more when i'm done sewing. Okay! So now that we're done i'm about to recap that i like to go back and fill in, that's what that's what you guys see me doing right now now it's time to cut off the excess cap - and you don't want that on because you do not want That to be showing, i need your friends, because it's just not gon na look right. I thought that's self-explanatory, though i really feel like everything is self-explanatory, but i have to really remember sometimes - and not everybody does here so now. Everybody gon na understand because people really don't belong, but i'd be like girl, it's self-explanatory, all right now, it's time to plug. I know this is a little fast because i time lapsed it, but i'ma definitely have more videos on my channel of me, plug-in plug-in. Is all about how you want your stuff to look, and it's just like you sit in there plug in you should know when it looks natural like it doesn't mimic a real hairline like? Does it really look real? That'S what you got to know, but basically i like to do this method, so i part of some from the front and then i plug behind it, because sometimes my frontals, especially on my frontals from my company, the front comes already um, like really plugs. So you have to just go behind the front part of it and plucked that somewhere um. Now i put it in the middle and hot combing it out putting some mousse on there part in the middle part. This part is a little fast, but don't worry because i'm gon na have a lot more videos on my channel of me, being very um, precise on how i plug in all of that so um. This is just like a broad generalization of everything i didn't go into in-depth into plug-in, but now it's the next day and i'm just putting that ball cap on there, just using my gold spot, i used to use glass to be glued, but i feel like the Ghostbun is better and um, so yeah you put some foundation on the lace that matches your clients skin tone and also put some on the wig cap before you put the ghost bomb down on there and that just helps give it a more melted, look um! You can get away with the foundation being a little bit lighter than the skin tone, but just never too dark. Like you know, your scalp could always be a little bit lighter than the skin, but it's really ever too dark. So you want to make sure that you get a skin, that you want to make sure you get a foundation that matches your client's skin tone. Well, um! So right now i'm just cutting that access cap off you want to get as close to the skin as possible. When i'll cut your clay, i'm not going to allow my clams to be flinching sometimes, but i just kind of like to get really close, but be very careful with this part, because you can't actually cut some of this and it's not okay. So now i put it on the head. I like to make sure that i put it in the middle, so i don't have to part it over like. I make sure that i get it in the middle and i'll be so mad when i don't but yeah that just um creates less time and i'm glowing down using ghost bun. This part is a little fast, but i'm just putting that glue down. I put three layers on. I just wait till it turns clear and that's when i start um putting it down, it is cutting sections and that just makes it easier, but it doesn't really matter. You don't have to do that, but i just do that because it just makes me feel better um to cut off the side tabs. What i do is, i part out the hair with the scissors and then just cut it off and that's basically, all i'm doing. Um to get that melted, look, i don't cut the lace off right away. I let it sit in the um, like i put an elastic band around the top of it around the lace part, and it just helps it melt longer. And then, when i do that, i like choose like flat iron or something and that's basically it. But this is here for my hair company. I know i said that already, but this lace is just the bomb like it's the lace for me and it's always delicious, like the lace just be looking so good. I love it but yeah and the parts where you have um access like lace, that's not glued down. You just put some more ghost bond there and that's how you get it to glue down and right now, flattening the hair and i'll. Let you guys just watch me fly under here and um pay attention to how silky it is because that's just period like if you want silky bundles for the law. You already know where to shop www.topnotchlox.com and that's just that, but i'll be back when it's time to cut off the lace so to cut my lace off, i do use a razor and this just gets the most jagged lines like this is one thing you do Not want to cut straight is the lace you makes. You want to cut it all sorts of crooked and just a jacket, because that just helps give it a more melted look and i do use a razor because it just gives it like the best look to me and it's faster than the scissors than to sand. Do zig zag part, so i just cut straight across with the razor and i get as close to the scalp as possible, because it just doesn't look good when you have excess lace on the skin, like the less lace on the skin. The better because when you have more lace, it's like more visible, no matter what kind of lace it is it's going to be visible, so you want to make sure that you cut off as much lace as you can and that just gives it the best. Look. So when i'm done cutting off the lace, i'm going to be doing some baby hairs and i didn't get to record the whole thing, because my phone ended up running out of storage and that's like the worst, the most annoying thing in life when you're recording your Phones out of storage and to do baby hairs, i do use, got to be glued and i'd i'll be trying to use the most, but it just don't break it. For me, like my lace, always lift no matter what i do. My lace is gon na lift. Like it always lifts when i'm using mousse so yeah, i'm trying to get some natural baby hairs cut the shorter you cut it, the more natural it's going to look, so i tend to cut mine's really short. It just depends on what exactly the client wants and something if they don't know, i just do baby hairs that i think will look best on them. So that's what i was doing - and this is the ending product. Thank god. So much for watching see you guys in my next video. I hope it was very useful for you, guys and don't forget to shop at top.
