We have had a lot of customers asking us how to wear their lace front wig if they want to wear a Wig Grip Band underneath it, so here you are!

Here are the two main tricks:

1. Be sure that the lace front does not go behind your hair line. This way, you won't see the Wig Grip Band.

2. Get a Wig Grip Band that is similar to your skin tone. This way, even if you see a tiny bit of the band, it will blend with your skin.

Hope that helps!

Hi, I'm Danielle with Godiva secret wigs and this video. I want to show you how to wear your wig grip band. If you have a lace front wig, it is a lace, front, wig, so a lace front. Wig is a wig where in the front, there's a little piece of lace and it gives the illusion that there's no G don't make things yea. They don't need you there. It'S like you, don't see where the hair line starts at all on your wig. So I'm also gon na tell you what a wig hair band is and how to put it. So first, I'm gon na put my hair in a low ponytail. So if you have a wig grip band that you want to wear under your wig, the purpose of this is to keep your wig from moving at all. So when you have just your wig on without the wig roof and that's totally fine but say someone pulls your wig or you have kids who might be yanking on it or it's super windy day or you just want that added security. The wig grip band is perfect for that and it comes in petite average and large. It also comes in four colors blonde brown, black and gray, so you're gon na put this on under your wig, and I'm going to show you exactly how to do it and your wig is not going to go anywhere. So I'm gon na hold it with my logo here on the left side facing down. I'M gon na put it about the middle of my forehead and then there's velcro, I'm gon na just put the velcro down here at the bottom and because the velcro is different. Lengths you can kind of make it a little bit bigger or smaller. Now I'm going to slowly, pull back and you'll see it's hard to pull back. That crushed-velvet is literally just grabbing on to my hair finished a note. This was gon na work, whether you have hair or not, it will grab to your skin or your hair, and if you have lines you're gon na get a face, you do get a mini facelift as well yeah. So then, I'm just gon na put my wig on like normal. This is my lace front, kala, wig and vanilla bean. I'M gon na start about the middle of my forehead, I'm just gon na tuck, my hair in the back here yeah and then I'm just gon na slowly bring the wig back. So the trick with the lace front wig is that you don't want to bring the lace back behind your hairline. You want to stop so the lace is just in front of your hairline, so you'll see here. I pulled it back, but I stopped just before you're going to actually see the wig rip band or my hair. It'S invisible Danielle right phenomenal! Thank you! So I'm wearing the blonde, so I suggest getting a wig rip band that matches your skin tone so that, if you were to see a tiny bit, it would be kind of what the color of your scalp is. So again. This is how you're gon na wear your wig rip band with your wig. You just want to make sure you're not pulling the wig back too far. You want to keep it in front of the wig grip, and you want to keep that at least in front. I should say it's just phenomenal and yet a lace front wig is a little more fragile correct. You want to treat it like nice lace, lingerie right, amazing, one thing, so the point of the way grab band is that the wigs not going anywhere. So I could literally pull this wig and it's not coming off, so that is the benefit of having that wicker band. Is that you don't have to worry about your wig moving at all, it's staying there until you take it off and if you don't believe us check our that was in some comments from clients through the flip over it right and if you get a little size. Tighter you will get a facelift. Are you to a wig grit band, yeah sure and to take it off? You don't want to pull it backwards because it's not coming off. So if you just kind of lift from the sides and lift your wig up and off, that's the easiest way to take it off when you're wearing the Wicker it band otherwise you're just going to pull and pull and pull. So that is how you're gon na wear your lace front wig! If you want to wear a wig grip band underneath thanks for watching you

Why am I here?: I wear a wig grip band (different brands, I haven't tried yours yet) and the problem I find it that it slips slowsy on the nape of my neck throughout the day so that by lunchtime I need to adjust. Is there a way to keep it in place without tightening it to skull-crushing proportions? The front is fine.

PATRICIA MAZZARIELLO: I just bought this and you are the only person that made it easy to understand thank you

Carla J.: Love it! What color wigs do you suggest for a person of "cool tone skin".? Thank you for all the teachings that you do. You are so appreciated.

Deborah McLean: I've seen other videos where they talk about trimming your lace front with pinking shears. Please talk about this. Yes or no.
