Hey guys this way, though, today I'll be showing you how to wear and style a lace front wig this particular week is from wig is fashion, calm and I'll. Put a link in the description to the exact wick. I'M going to be styling in this video. So after you take the wig out of its packaging, your motifs, the lace at the front of the wig. Hence why it's called lace, front wig and with some scissors you're just going to cut the lace as close as you can to the hairline. Obviously, try not to cut it too close in case you cut up some of the hairs at the front, but generally the closer you cut it to the hairline, the more realistic it's gon na look when it's on your head, so just carefully snip, snip, snip and Bang the lace is gone, also, don't forget to cut the lace at the sides of the wig and you should be left with something that looks a bit like this. Don'T worry if it looks a bit untidy, you can always go back in with the scissors just to neaten up any rough edges. So now that you've cut the lace, you should notice these little kind of strap hook. Things just attach them like, so to adjust the tightness of your wig. Obviously it all depends on your head size, so this part might take some trial and error next you'll want to put on a skin colored wig cap. This is to give the illusion of a scalp underneath your wig, so it looks like the hair is actually coming from your head. Just smush, all the hair, all up in there nice try to get your hair distributed evenly underneath your wig cap. So you don't have any weird bulges that will show up underneath the wig. You don't want to look like you have a weird shaped head. Next, take your wig do a little weird dance. This step is optional and just pull the wig onto your head. Basically, just slide it on, and here's me admiring my new wig. This was actually the first time I'd put this wig on, so you know so, as you can see, the week was a bit too loose for my head, so I had to take off and readjust it just keep adjusting the tightness of the wig until you're happy With it I have a pretty small head, so I had to keep working my way down until it was tighten up on my head to not fall off and stuff. Obviously, you don't want to make your wig too tight, where it's uncomfortable, but not too loose where it's gon na fall off and just set your wig straight. These two fluffy bits should be above your ears and figure out where exactly you want your wig to be glued down and just pull the wig back to make space for the glue you can use actual wig glue or you can use spirit, gum or anything like That I'll put a link in the description to where I got this glue from it was fairly cheap on Amazon and it gets the job done just make sure you also have some adhesive, remover or rubbing alcohol, or something like that. Just to get rid of the glue afterwards, the glue can be pretty difficult to remove, make sure you tap the glue after you've applied it to make it nice and sticky and pull the wig into place over the glue. Try not to get any hairs stuck under the wig. It can get a bit messy, so just be careful, use a comb to brush out any loose hairs and don't forget to glue down the sides of the wig as well. Try not to get the glue actually in your hair cuz. It can be a bit difficult to get the glue out just use enough to be able to stick down the sides of the wig. The great thing about lace funds. Is you get to move the part in wherever you want it, which is what I'm doing here we'll come back to this a bit later, but just make sure it's in the general place that you want it to be next, we're going to take a wig brush And just brush through the whole wig try to stay away from using normal hair brushes. They can be quite damaging to your wig and be gentle when brushing I find it best to brush from the ends of the wig and work your way up, and now we're going to move on to cutting the wig. I don't really know how to describe the way I cut my wigs. I just kind of take the scissors and kind of brush the scissors down to kind of give a feathered effect. That makes sense. You can see it more than I can explain it. So I just take random chunks of hair that I think could do with cutting, and I just cut it. I start by cutting the hair around my face just to frame my face a bit before I move on to cutting all the layers in the wig. I think it's best to cut your wig while you're wearing it so that you can cut it accordingly, just to fit your face shape, although I would recommend putting something under you, like newspapers or plastic bags, to catch all the hair, because my god does this hair Get everywhere and just snip away to your heart's content. I like to cut a lot of layers into my weeks. It does take quite a while to get through cutting all the layers in the wig, especially on a wig. That'S as dense as this, but adding in the layers makes all the difference. It'S definitely worth in the end, and that's all the cutting of the week done so now, we'll the cutting is done. It'S time to go back to our parting use, a comb to get the parting as neat as possible and take some light. Colored concealer and a small brush put a small amount of concealer on your brush and paint over the part you just made. This will help make the lace blend in better with your forehead, making it look like the hair is actually coming from your scalp. Try to make it as neat as possible to make it look as realistic as possible. This step makes a huge difference to the way your wig looks so now we're going to straighten the wig out a little bit make sure you use your straightness on the lowest setting and don't keep the straighteners on the head for too long, otherwise, you'll risk melting. The fibers in your wig and make sure that it's actually a heat resistant wig before you try straightening it. I didn't want to completely straighten this wig. I just wanted to straighten out some of the curls, make them a bit less intense. So I just went over the hair with the straighteners in very quick strokes. This next step is completely optional, but I think it works wonders for your wig I'll, put a link in the description to where you can get this product. But basically, you just spray it in your hair and it gets rid of any frizz and gives really nice texture and honestly, it smells fantastic. This part is also completely optional, but it does help to keep your wig in place. Using hairspray can really help to preserve the curls in your wig, although you don't want to use so much that it makes your wiggle stiff and sticky and gross. I also wouldn't recommend getting it in your mouth and that's it we're finished. If we enjoyed this video, don't forget to leave a like and don't forget to subscribe. Eboné Bracy Andrews: Was this the reddish purple color?

DSM Productions (official): I love your cute shoulder length hair but what's with the wig, that's not a natural hair colour you want people to take you seriously and that wig won't pass for a hair because you opted for a cheap substitute that doesn't pass as hair
