Hi guys melissa, jane here back with another video today, i'm going to be showing you how to put on a left front wig for beginners. So if I'm honest, I'm a beginner myself, I've not been wearing wigs for very long. I don't wear them every day. I wear them when I go out for drinks or, if someone's having a party I'll put in a week, but I don't really wear them like every day and the wig I'm gon na be putting on today is this one. This is just like a pink one. It was curly bar straightened it a little bit it's from Amazon, it's about 30 pounds. I think, and it's really soft. So as you can see, my hair is in two Platt. I'Ve put two. So I've got a little passing, so my hair is just as flat as it can be on the top. You'Ve got your wig cups and I tend to wear these because your scalp, it isn't black, so yeah just put the wig cap on - and this is me with my week up on ball. But you don't have to wear a wig cap, but I definitely prefer to where we cut myself. It'S the next. Looking at the wig, a lace front. Wig basically, is a wig that has less at the front and it kind of like blends in with your skin. So it looks really natural, like the hair, is actually growing out of your skin. So when I first got this week, the lace was coming Mike down to here, but what you do when you buy a wig, is you trim the less I wish I didn't? Do we can show you how to do it, but you literally just trim the way, lay close to the hairline as possible. What really helps your wig look? Natural is that party, so this wig, unfortunately, the parting is a bit there's, not much of a part in there. So I've had. I did it added a little bit earlier, but what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na get a pair of tweezers and I'm just gon na look some of the hairs out just like this. Let'S get some of the hairs off, so I've done it. A little bit more and just created more of a pattern, and just so you can see my skin through it. I don't really usually have a middle parting with these weeks anywhere. I do think it looks more natural when you've got it over to the side, but I'll show you when I've got it on pop the wig on and make sure you've got enough leg so either side. So you can put it behind your ears like this, because that's what always makes it a bit more natural if you can put the hair behind your ears, so this wig it is really thick. Obviously, I'm gon na give it a brush. There was a little fastener at the back here, and this just makes it a little bit tighter. So if you can fasten it the back just to keep it secure, you should do and then you'll feel the more secure, but we garden we could've had about there and yeah. So next, what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na get a bubble, and I'm just gon na tie the wig back a little bit. So what you need to do is you need to glue your weak down, so I've got there. This is called got to be glued and aware there is a stronghold called got to be ultra glued. I think, and a lot of people use that as well. It'S just like a little gel that you use to put to stick the front of the weak down. It does the job, it's really good and you can get it from booths for like 5 pounds, it's not expensive. What I do is I'll just get a little bit of it got to be glued on my finger, just like a tiny bit like this, and I just go around my hairline, and I just put it here like this and spread it trying to not get it In my hair, because when it comes to actually taking the wig off kind of damage, your hair, if you pull in and the gelled down hair, so all I do is once I have applied some of this gel I'll, just press down and stick the wig on And it really does keep it down quite well, and I just go around my forehead doing that. You want to make sure that you're actually putting the glue underneath the legs, because if you get it on this part of your head, it's gon na dry and really shiny and you're gon na be able to tell that you've got a wig on and also that's. Why I leave the makeup till afterwards, because, if you've done all your makeup and you've got loads of shiny stuff on your forehead and you can't just cover it up with makeup. You'Ve actually got to wash wash it off really and it is a bit of a pain so and just try and avoid getting it on your forehead. So the week is stuck down now, I'm just waiting for this side to dry its feeling, nice and secure, which is good and I'm just gon na go wash my hands and then I'll be right. Back, I'm gon na get on with houses style the week and to make it look a bit popular okay, so I've washed my hands and now I'm just gon na I'm just gon na be doing kind of like baby heads and like brush. You know the heads and sticking them back down again doing baby house. Basically, these baby has a ones that I've previously cut with baby hairs. You can just use a pair of any normal scissors and just cut the wig. She cut a short piece about that. Big. Okay, so what I'm gon na do I'm just gon na clear that don't get it though Joe blew it like just like that, take a little her and I've also got this. This is he got to be glued blasting free spray. I think it's just like a bit of a stronger hairspray, but it was recommended anywhere by a few videos. I had watched on wigs before so I'm just gon na spray a little bit of that there as well. So, as you can see, it's starting to look a little bit more real, but does look a bit cartoony and that could be partly because I've got no makeup on and but I'm just gon na brush out of it now it should start to look a little Bit more real when you buy this week, it's originally quite curly, and I do think that that makes it look a bit a little bit fake and it's love to just decided to straighten it a little bit and I'm just gon na give it a little bit Of a stretch, because it is actually heat safe to a certain extent, see ya when you are straightening this way, if you want, you straighten this to be on the lowest setting, so the one thing that can kind of give away the fake look of a wig Is it being shining like really overly shiny? This one is not too bad actually, but I'm just gon na get some dry shampoo and just give it a bit of it ray make sure with the dry, shampoo and not spraying, the lace as well cuz, I'm just a little white, and then you see the Lace, what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na pop my makeup make it kind of go with the look. I'M gon na go. I'M just gon na put my makeup on and I'll show you the final look and in a vanilla, so I'll speed it up. Cuz, this isn't makeup tutorial and ya, know I'll. Do my makeup and guys. This is a final look with my wig on, so I really hope you enjoyed the video - and I hope you can see from this video that it is actually quite easy support or we're gone, and it's saving your hair you're not dying here, you're not having to Make any drastic decisions and you can create so many different looks, and it is just really so easy to do and I hope you liked that table also doing a video. That'S not just nursing as well. I'Ve been like wanting to do a video on my wigs for quite a while yeah. This is look with the wig and you can just see how long it is as well. Mom Of Many: The wig wont stick if you have you make on first and it works better if you use wig glue and rub your hairline with alcohol first. If you want it to stick for a while..you gotta melt the lace down too but this one looks fabulous one you!! Love that color!!

David Revils: A wig grip works well too if you don’t wanna glue it down. Unfortunately your the lace won’t last too long if you’re gluing it down and removing it a lot.
