Detailed Lace Front Wig Install | Sponsored By Ali Grace Hair

Hey y'all: it's your boy, candy and um you're, now tuned in to beauty with candy, and today we're going to be doing a wig review. This unit was sent to me by ali grace human hair. This is a sponsorship video, but i am going to give my honest answer as you guys can see with the wig. They gave me a wig cap that matches my skin complexion as well as a silk bag for it to go in this lace. Wig is a frontal wig. It comes with clamps on the inside um yeah, i just as soon as i took it out the bag. I kind of instantly fell in love with the wig. It was constructed very well. It'S already pre-plugged y'all already know my bleach. The knots can pluck it some more, but it is pre-plugged. I love a good frontal, wig, that's pre-plucked, but um. Let'S get started by taking the got2b gel and we're going to treat it like butter and we just want to spread it on the entire lace um. I'M going to be dyeing this wig jet black, like black black black, and i don't want any of that dye to get on the knots, because i am going to be doing the watercolor method, um yeah. So, just we're going to basically use this as like a shield once you spread it all over the lace. You just want to go in with the blow dryer on cool. You do not want to use warm air hot air because that's not making milk. You know what i mean so i went in with cool hair. I put the little silk bag over it, just to kind of smother it a little bit, so it could dry a little quicker and it was pretty dry after i would say, probably like 30 minutes. It'D take a while to dry, but it's definitely worth it got ta protect those knots as y'all can see. Um nothing's coming off. It'S pretty much hard right here and then, on top of that, i went in with the layer of got to be free spray and basically did the same thing just to give like another level. Um, sorry, not a level another layer of protection once that second layer dries we're pretty much ready to go so i went in with a jet black kiss die. I went in with two of them actually, so i um yeah empty them into steaming. Hot water. Try to get the water as hot as you can um brush out the hair, because you know it's better to water it out when it's all brushed out and just start dipping it. Now, though, i protected the lace i made sure like, i wasn't like overly saturating. The lace in the dye, if that kind of makes sense, you know what i'm saying just you know i did i dipped it, but i just wasn't like letting it sit. I wasn't everything else did though, but yeah once you do that um, it should take fairly quickly because it's not that big of a difference, but it should take quickly wash off all the product that we put on the lace i use like dishwashing liquid. It kind of helps that come on quick, but i didn't let the hair sit in the dishwasher, so if that makes sense yeah. So i know this is a lot of steps y'all, but it's gon na be worth it now we reach into the knot. I uh, as y'all, can see. I did go in with 50 developer only because um only because yeah like i just wanted to make sure just in case any of them. You know knots did get jet black. I made. I just wanted to make sure that i used the developer. That was definitely gon na lift that up. You know - and you know until that start i like to make my bleach um like thick kind of like a like a pasty type of things, but not too winery uh, not too watery, because if it's too watery it will seep through the lace. But if it's too thick, it won't spread, as you guys can see it's spreading perfectly, because i do like the perfect combination and being that i'm using 50 developer um. I probably wouldn't recommend that all the time for people - but you know i mean when you know what you're doing you just finish it, but being that i'm using 50 developer, i'm not going to like let it sit on there as long so yeah. I definitely let the developer in the bleach sit on there for about like 15 to 20 minutes. I was eyeing it. I was kind of watching and seeing when it was lifted. Normally, i probably would like to see it probably a little longer if it was like 20 or something but um. You just got to really watch the hair, so it was more like 15 minutes. You know like 15 minutes, but cover that up fully once we're done. We'Re gon na use some shimmer lights, shampoo to um tone the nuts just gon na use the same water. We use to dye the hair, we're just gon na put some regular water in it. A few pumps of the shampoo and just make sure we fully swish it all around, just swish it all around um and then just dip it in here ain't no tool to do it, baby dip it in there swish it around um just take out for those Y'All, who don't know what this step do it takes out some of that redness after bleaching it you know, i want you to beat your hair, be real red. It helps condense. Some of that you know as y'all can see, and i was going in with my parting already and i was touching up my part with a little bit of eye shadow um. Sorry i had this little a bit of that off camera because my phone had died, but right now, i'm just basically getting all of the hair kind of you know pre-styled the way i want it when i do like half of half-down type of styles or whatever. I personally like to just get it up and just all that done try to print it on my head, so i'm just treating his head just go ahead like it's my head and just give me as close to perfect as i want to before. I start installing it on myself so that you already know that means plucking it. I did a lot of plugging. I don't want to make this a plug video. You don't know how to plug my nail, if not comment below, if y'all want me to do a like a specific plucking video, because that could be a long video within itself, but as y'all can see, you know i was plucking it. I was using my hot comb to kind of press the hair in place to kind of help create the edges. You know i mean the air, the hairline illusion. You know i'm saying i like foreign foreign, my uh, oh uh, oh foreign, this, oh foreign baby as y'all, can see. I installed this wig in three sections. I did the front part first and then i did my um right side for my left side and when you always get down right by the ear, sometimes you always got to just add a little extra glue. You just always have to have a little extra glue. Just to make sure um because them tabs will always you know, try to ruin your life as you all can see. I'M feeling it at this point. I'M definitely filling them. Okay, so, as you can see, i'm going back and forth between the eyebrow razor and scissors to cut this lace um, you do not want to cut your lace, lace, perfect! That'S why sometimes i like to use both um. The scissors can kind of get you straight to the point, and then you can go in with your eyebrow eraser to kind of precisely cut little excess pieces that got to go so what i'm going to do now is basically the lace is really kind of pretty Laid but i'm going to tie it down um i sprayed the whole perimeter with a little got to be before wrapping it that always helps it really melts, and once you tie it down and just really melt, but um yeah. So i just tied it down, went and did my makeup and came back and did a couple of swoops and then it gains very much very much murder. She wrote thank god. This is like a deep curl texture. So all i had to do was put a little mousse in it um, so she just popped but yeah. Oh foreign, foreign me, my oh mhm. I hope you guys really like this transformation. I love the wig, even though it was a shorter unit um. I wanted to go for a different look and i ended up loving it more than i thought i would i loved it. So comment below. It would be good um, i didn't experience too much yet i mean i did experience shedding, but you always experience chatting with deep curl wigs. You know, but once i got like it washed and conditioned and i calmed down stuff, it was really good, as y'all can see this lace laid amazingly. This was only two layers of glue, so imagine if i did like three or so but um yeah. I really like the way it gets a thumb up for me um, but yeah.
