When i shine too much, i'm never worried about the shade, try to say i'm too lit, but they can't blow away. So in today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how to get that real natural hair blown out, look and, of course, we're not going to be applying any heat, but this is the current state of my hair. It looks a little interesting right now because i did have it up in a bun, and this is how it was styled. Follow me on instagram all right now, let's get into this hair y'all this unit that i'm going to show you all today is from genius wigs. They have such amazing hair. They recently released the crystal lace units and i've shown you all ones in the past, where you can convert it from straight to curly. This one is a kinky straight unit in 22 inches and when i tell you it looks so glorious like the texture, the hairline everything it's gon na. Look like it's growing out of your scalp. It'S really gon na give you that skin melt appearance, and although this lace is thin, it is rather durable. This hairline is like no other. It looks so natural. The way that they pluck the hairline is superb. I never have a problem with any of their wigs in that regard and they also bleach the knots really well. So now, let's get into this crystal lace, i'm showing you guys what it looks like against my face, but i'm also going to do a quick comparison to show you all visually. What the difference of these three types of lace are: i'm showing you all brown, lace, transparent, lace and then also the crystal lace, which is the more invisible undetectable skin melt like lace, that's just going to look like it's growing out of your scalp. So now putting the unit on a mannequin hair, you all can get a sense of what it would look like on someone with a lighter skin tone. This hairline looks so natural y'all. Look at this deep parting space. You literally get six inches of parting space and because of how well the knots are bleached and how natural the hairline is, you can literally do almost any style. I'M going to show you all later what it looks like with the front braided it's going to be so cute and y'all this texture. They truly got our hair texture right. If you're looking for a really nice kinky straight blowout, look, then this is the way to go alright. Now, let's get into my natural hair, wig prep, i do want to share with you guys that a silk purse and trim video will be coming. I actually just booked my appointment with kia and i'm really excited to see where my hair is. I need a trim so bad, so this is going to be really good for my hair, but i cannot wait to see it actually blown out, trimmed and stretched fully. I feel like it is growing, but i'm not sure what do y'all think i hope kia won't have to cut off too much, but we're gon na see in about two weeks. You know it's true, all right, y'all. Now, let's try this unit on when i first tried it on. I tried it with a regular stocking cap, one that was in the box that it came in and y'all it did not work. I will say with lace: that's this thing that you need to actually do the ball cap method or cornrow your hair and really really small braids, so that it's super flat to your head and it will look really natural. But i opt for the ball cap method because i don't like to do cornrows. I feel like it's just way too much tension on my head and i'm going to start this method by ensuring that the wig cap is my skin tone. So i'm just going to use some concealer in order to color it and then i'm going to proceed to work on the ball cap method. Now, when starting this method, you want to make sure that your edges are nice and sleek. So i use gel in order to do that, but i put way too much so don't apply as much as me because i felt like once i finished the process, the gel seeped through and it just looked a little interesting. But just keep that in mind, you don't need as much gel as i applied after pulling the stocking cap down and over that area. You want to spray it with either got to be glue spray or bed head spray or some type of holding spray. Just to make sure that the stocking cap is really flush to your head, so i'm gon na spray that and then proceed to dry it using my blow dryer, but i like to first set it using an elastic band while i'm allowing it to dry. I'M gon na go about tinting the lace and i've started using three different products in order to tip the lace and i feel like it creates the most natural look. So i'm gon na demonstrate that process now and then i'll come back on when we move on to the next step, all right. So now i'm taking the elastic band off, and i told you guys it looks a little interesting it's because i added too much gel. Don'T do that after i've completed this process, i'm going to proceed to cut around that band in the front and i actually didn't cut. As close as i typically do. I was trying to do a method that i've done in the past, but that wasn't the best idea just make sure you cut as close to your hairline as possible. Someone who has a round or a normal hairline you're not going to have this issue, but because i have a lower hairline, i feel like working around. My hairline sometimes can be a bit challenging, but i try to make it work as best as i possibly can. So now i'm going to try the unit back on and what i realized is that i needed to actually clean up around the lace. But i want to show you guys what it looks like if you don't clean up, because i tinted the lace using the airbrush spray that typically bleeds through. So you want to make sure that, after using that that you clean up the hair - and i like to do this using a makeup - wipe, so that's what i'm doing now and then i'm going to proceed to install the units y'all. This color match is perfection. Now when i started this process, i actually started to use the yellow got to be glue gel, and i didn't really like how it was turning out. So i'd recommend, with this type of lace, to actually use a spray. You can maybe also use wig glue, but i don't use wig glue at all. That is just a no for me because i don't want to mess up my edges in any way, but the gots me glue usually works out for me with a lace. That'S not as thin, but this one is too thin and i just felt like it was just not doing what it needed to do so after applying the gel on top of my edges, which i should have applied it under the edges of the wig cap. That would have been better, i proceeded to add the spray, and then i laid down the unit to try to smooth it down and make sure it was melted to my skin and all that jazz. But i realized that you could actually see the gel through it. Just was like not drying how i wanted, maybe that mixture of the gel on the spray wasn't working out. I'M not certain, but i wouldn't recommend using the got to be glue gel, for this only apply it under the stocking cap. In order to do the ball cap method, if that's the type of adhesive you want to use, but not for the actual wig install, so after cleaning up the gossipy glue spray, with the makeup wipe, i went in with the bed head spray to lay the unit Down and that worked out so much better, a gift you like a song, i call the radio up to play the mix when we jump inside that g wack push your feet back. I really like the texture a great deal, so i want to leave it like that. I'M just trying to get out the crimps that were created from the packaging i'm out here, hungover girl. I swear me you're pretty, but none of these girls - oh, i told you guys this unit is so versatile. You could do so many styles with it. I love this style, but now i'm going to show you all what it looks like with the side part and then i'm going to show you one more style and then we're going to be finished so stay tuned guys you don't wan na come down.
