Hey babies, welcome back to my channel. If you are new here, welcome now's a good time to go ahead and subscribe. We'Re going to jump right into this video, as you guys can see. I am using the fresh rose hydration as a moisturizer and then i'm going in with my nars foundation and my black radiance uh beauty stick. So i did have a tan from over the summer. Of course it's still like fall right, and so i needed something just to kind of warm me up a little bit, so you guys can see i'm taking my foundation brush and going into like a stippling motion quickly spreading the product all over. I did only put that uh black radiant brownish stick, it is in the shade it looks like a chestnut or cashmere um and i'm just using that as like a way to kind of bronze up my face, you guys can see. The nars does have more of a yellow, tint or undertone, and so i just need a little bit of something to help make sure that everything matches and blends in perfectly now, i'm not one of those girls that, like to use a lot of foundation, i like To kind of keep it on the natural side and just making sure that my skincare routine is on point um, and so that's what i'm doing here, i'm actually taking the nars concealer, and this is in the color caramel just to cover any dark circles. I really don't have any for the most part, but i just use this as a way to kind of highlight and give me a little bit of brightness underneath the eye. I also use this as a way to kind of carve out my brows. So if you guys did not know, i got my eyebrows micro bladed about three years ago, and this is the result. So if you guys are curious as to who did my microblading definitely make sure to check out the video that i did on my channel with all the details? Um, her name is sasha. She is amazing and still working to this day doing the microblading. So if you guys are in the atlanta area, definitely make sure to check her out so yeah, just taking a fluffy brush all the brushes that i'm using pretty much are from real techniques. You guys are super inexpensive, but they work like a dream. I did go ahead and just dampen the sponge just a tiny bit, so that i can make sure that i'm able to spread out this concealer and really blend it out in the most natural way. Then i'm taking my kat von d setting powder in the color translucent just to make sure that everything is really pressed into the skin. I actually use the brush or, i should say the sponge while it's damp, because it helps really set that powder into the face, and then i go over it with my fenty um. I believe this is their all-over face powder in the color honey just to set everything in i'm, not one of those people that need to have a whole bunch of like dust sitting on the face. I just want to make sure everything's pressed in and then any extra powder. I will go ahead and remove it now. You guys see that i'm still freaking using if y'all have been following me since the beginning, where i've been doing youtube now, five years. If you guys have been following me since the beginning, you guys would actually know that the anastasia beverly hills dip powder is my absolute go-to. So i've been using this stuff for quite some time and as you guys can see, it works like a dream. I just use it to pretty much carve out. My brows help fill them in, give it a little bit more dimension and i'm taking a nice spoolie to go over my lashes. I actually get them um. These are like the individual lashes. So if you guys are curious as to who i go to um, it is the lamina. The glamour label on instagram i'll be sure to link emily's um info down below as well. If you guys are interested in that and i'm just taking a fluffier brush with my morphe palette, this is their basics. I believe i got this in a boxy charm, so um yeah. At this point, i never have to pay for like palettes, because boxycharm definitely does the job and i'm just taking that going all over the lid and then i'm mixing that with my fenty um, this is like their contour slash stun. What is this? I can't even talk y'all sun, a stalker caramel cutie and i'm using that as a bronzer to go all over the face. Add a little bit more depth into this. I like to look warm and you guys can see here. I am on the lighter side. Okay, so who does not want to get a little bit more sun? I'M actually going to go ahead and take my beverly. No, this is my julius palette. Um juvia's place palette the saharan blush volume two and i'm gon na go ahead and just mix together. This kind of reddish brown shade with the um lighter pink, so it's like a blush nude and i've been using this combination literally for the past two, maybe two and a half years, my foundation routine, has not changed at all. What you guys see me doing today is literally what i do every single day. Hence why i don't really do a lot of makeup tutorials, because this is the go-to look. So if you guys are always wondering chrissy, what do you do? Your makeup looks so flawless. Y'All, less is more less is more. The key is going to be to make sure that your skincare routine is on point, and i believe that i posted mine a while ago i'll do an updated one, because y'all know i have some breakouts going on. But we are back in action and i'm actually just taking this lip pencil pretty sure i got it from the beauty scene, i'm not sure of the color. The color kind of faded off i've had it for quite some time. Then i'm going in with my kat von d: this is in the color bow and arrow now y'all know. Typically, i will use a brown liner with bow and arrow. That'S my go-to lip color with just some clear gloss, but today i wanted to use my tart um, i'm not sure of the name of this again i'll, just link it down below. I literally just got this like in a boxycharm, recently absolutely loved it. It'S a nice pink tint and it has a little bit of gloss to it as well. So i'm gon na go ahead and set everything with my urban decay stay on artist spray - and i know y'all are probably judging me like christy. Your makeup is so dirty y'all. I literally throw all of this into a bag, and i mean i go like out of all the makeup products. I use i've been using the same stuff forever, so we're on to hot tools, i'm going to be using a bunch of stuff and i'll kind of just go through it as i use it and, of course, this video is in collaboration with my first wig. You guys already know that they are literally top three of my hair company's favorite hair companies. All time - and you guys know they always give you plenty of goodies. I absolutely love that travel bag that they give you. They are the only people that ever give me a cap that actually matches like it's more on that beige tone. So it's not so white. They actually have a new lace glue that i want to try today and then, of course, they give you all the tools that you need from like combs to clips and bobby pins, and things like that so um on the inside of the wig, you guys can See it does have the adjustable band, there's also a strap here kind of similar to like a bra, strap and uh yeah we're going to get into this install. I know you guys want to see how it really goes down. So i decided to film this in my bathroom just because i feel like it was a little bit more relatable like this is really my go-to when i want to just look good right, so go to hair go to makeup. I'M like this is really simple. Um. You guys know when it comes to colored, wigs i'll, try something new every now and then but y'all. I was really feeling the 90s look and i've been feeling that for a while now so i've been getting into the shorter wigs - and i really really like this one, of course all the details will be listed down below you guys can see um with my first Wigs, you usually don't have to do much to it. They already come pre-styled pre-bleached plugs all that good stuff, but y'all know i like to take it up a notch. So that's what we're going to be doing today. First things: first, i'm going to go ahead and just push all the hair out of the way, because you want to be able to see what you're working with right. Sometimes the lace doesn't match up and if that's the case, you definitely want to go ahead and return. The wig don't cut it off and then tell the company hey. The wig did not work because that's not gon na work. So, yes, i'm taking one of the clips that they provided and i'm gon na go ahead and just cut off that additional lace. I'Ve already cut off the lace that was at the nape of my neck and i'm just making sure that everything aligns perfectly which it does their wigs tend to fit me just fine, because y'all know i got a big forehead, so i mean honestly like: what's not Gon na fit - and so i'm just gon na go and do the exact same thing on the other side, y'all, i'm really admiring my makeup right now it looks so freaking belongs like yeah, okay, but anyway, so once we've had that all set, i'm going to go Ahead and take some tweezers, these are like slanted. I don't know why there's a brush on the end, y'all, don't ask. I really have no clue, i'm assuming it's really for i'm saying i'm assuming, of course, tweezers are really for eyebrows. I think at this point we've assumed that tweezers are just for plucking wigs and that is it okay, so i'm gon na go ahead and just section this off you guys can see. I took maybe about a two to three inch section across the front um and i'm gon na work with one side at a time. Typically, i would do this on a mannequin head, but again this is a realistic view of getting the wig fresh out of the packaging. You got somewhere to be okay and uh, it's time to just go ahead and style this up, so i'm sectioning off uh. This small part, i don't like to really work too much with the front until i have tweezed out um about i'm going to say half of that front section. I want to make sure that i can pull everything back, see what i'm working with see, how the hair is going to pull out of the knots, because sometimes it's a bit tough, okay, um, and so you guys can see here. I'M just using that front piece of hair just to hold everything down and i'm going through the tweezers. Now you guys may be wondering uh what spray did i use? That is actually the kenra flat iron spray. You all know that is my go to holy grail. I use that in combination with the blow dryer just to be able to see the hair a little bit more clearly so that it's not so wiry and not laid down. I don't mean to say wiry, but more so just like loose hair right. So i didn't want to use the mousse right away. I wanted to uh just kind of see what it was going to do if everything was going to pluck out - and you guys can see i'm doing this in a diagonal motion - i'm not spending too much time in one area and then i did go ahead and Take my cream of nature mousse just to lay everything down and i'm going to hit it with the blow dryer of course, but for now i just wanted to clearly see my work just to make sure. Okay, i'm not plucking out too much hair in one area. I didn't pluck too far back and then you get a closer look right, so you do this all throughout the head. Until you are satisfied, i think i i probably plucked out a little a little bit much too much in the front temple area, but i always do and that's just because i prefer a more natural look in the temple area and also across. I guess where the middle part is as well, and that's just in case. You don't want to use the wig with the baby hair, and sometimes i do sometimes i don't, but in this tutorial i'll, be showing you both options for the girls that, like both so there's that and you guys, can already see how the hair is sleek. A little bit more sleek a little bit more transparent. You guys can clearly see that hairline, because we all know that most hairlines are not super thick from root to tip right, and so i'm just taking the blow dryer keep checking the work and we're going to do this process until we reach the other side and Then, of course, i'll be right back to finish the styling okay, so we are finishing up here um and you guys can see i'm just going through with the paddle brush. This is my thermal heating brush um, just to go ahead and remove all of that excess hair that we don't need taking a little bit of that cream of nature and mousse just to go ahead and set everything into place. Check double check your work just to make sure you have tweezed out at least the beginning or the hairline area um. If you don't want to go crazy with over plucking, i never do honestly um so yeah. I suggest that you don't do it either. It'Ll help your wigs last a lot longer because they will naturally shed especially the longer that you wear them washing taking it off putting it back on. You can wear these units glueless, as you can see already it's literally on my head. They have combs on the inside, so if that's something you want to maneuver, you can, and you guys can see. I took that camera flat iron spray just to again set all the hair out the way hit it with the blow dryer and also the hot comb. Just to really make sure that everything is um pretty much adjusted the way i want to so i was happy with the hairline. It was not overly plucked um and you guys can see how beautifully bleached the knots are. So i was really really happy with that. I wasn't sure if i wanted to do a side, part middle part, but we're going to lay this baby down. So typically, i use ghost bond, but today we're going to try the my first wig lace glue right now. After actually installing this, it's probably about a week later, um, in my opinion, the glue is okay. If you're looking for something that is gon na hold until infinity, this is not gon na. Be that glue no offense, my first, i love you guys so much, but um yeah. We need to work on a better holding blue if you're looking for something that's going to set the wig, maybe two to three days. You don't want to worry about any extra residue getting into your hairline and it just being impossible to remove honestly. This is going to be the glue for you. So if you are a beginner, this is a little bit more workable um than most glues, and you guys can see how quickly it dries. I barely even had to hit it with the blow dryer. It was already drying on the way down and you guys can see. I only use just a small amount. So keep that in mind if you're, one of those ones that want to be on the beach walk in, you know, 90 degree weather wearing a hat. I don't know why you would, but if that is, you then do not use this glue um. But if you are more so every day you don't mind taking off your wig at the end of the week type of thing, then yeah definitely test this glue out. I believe it's going to come with the packaging anyway, it may be a small additional charge once you go ahead and purchase the unit, but definitely keep that in mind, because i do not want y'all to be disappointed. Like now chrissy, you told me this. No chrissy ain't tell you nothing: okay, so yeah, i'm just going through and i'm cleaning up a little bit more areas. You guys can see. I'M literally plucking the hair out and uh yeah, the laces still stay tacked down. I didn't have to do too much so nice and satisfied from this point. I'M gon na go ahead and hit this with my got. Ta be glue spray. You guys see they have new packaging, i'm all here. For it, it's a little bit slimmer a slimmer bottle, not that anybody really cares, but yeah i'm gon na go ahead and hit that around the hairline, and then i like to take my elastic band. This is just like a random one from another um. I don't even know where i got this from honestly. I can't remember, i'm pretty sure, amazon um but yeah. I just use that to lay down the edges and kind of allow the glue to fully dry. While i continue to pretty much set the wig - and this is where we're going to get into the layering um and kind of just styling this up a little bit more, so i took some of that camera flat iron spray just to really carve out the part. You guys can see i'm taking a rat tail comb just to uh, really make sure that middle part is as straight as possible. Now i know y'all are wondering like chrissy, you got braids under there, but, like you, don't have on a wig cap. I know girl. I know i i set my braids with a middle part and so that definitely helps to um. I guess give that transparent. Look right because i don't really care for the look of the wig caps and doing that whole meltdown method, and it's just so much alcohol that you're putting on your hair to even set that in place. I just would rather not so. I took my care care wax, stick just to make sure that everything is able to lay down smoothly. It gives it a little bit of sheen and kind of sets it into a place without giving it that weight down, look and so i'm taking the hot comb. Y'All this hot comb is amazing. It does have adjustable temperatures. So if you are used to burning yourself, look look no more look! No more. I got it off amazon um, i'm taking my nars. This is their radiant glow foundation, not that you have to use nars for your wigs because, like who really wants to do that right, um, but take any of your foundations, don't use a concealer use a foundation to go and kind of clean up that um. The part area and then of course a trim, would not be a trim or a wig, would not be a wig without a trim. So i like to make my ends usually kind of blunt um and then of course i clean up. If it's not matching up in the back, i usually get a little bit of assistance there and then i have um just a razor comb, which i got this from the beauty. Supply store just to quickly add layers, but i'm looking at it so crazy because you know one end is super blunt and the other end is a little bit more of a fine razor. So just be aware, if you want choppier layers, listen be careful because it's very easy to butcher. This so definitely be in. You know keep that in mind if you prefer to use scissors just because it can give a softer look then definitely do that as well, but i'm going through you guys can see i'm just slowly. Picking up the hair. I started from about my chin because that's where i wanted the layers to um sit that way once i curl it back. If ever i decide to do like some really nice, fair faucet is that is that the name of the curls, i think so, some large curls everything will kind of just blow into place. Today, i'm going to be doing some waves, but you guys can see already how much more movement the hair has with the layers as opposed to the side. That'S just completely straight, so i'm just going through and cleaning this up. Sometimes it's perfect on the first try. Sometimes it's not, but either way keep moving, keep moving through it. Okay, just keep moving and there's really no right or wrong way to do this. Honestly, the only way that you can mess this up is, if you cut off too much hair, because you can't get it back all right now, don't be trying to send your wig back to my first wig saying, and i don't like how it came out, but I still have the lace on and you've already cut, like. Don'T do that? Okay, nobody likes that. So i'm doing the exact same thing. On the other side you guys can see. I think i cut the layer a little bit longer on this side, which that was my bad, but don't worry, we're gon na go back through and just clean. This up, you guys, can see i'm just slowly carrying the comb all the way down and finishing it out. That'S the most important thing to keep the layers. Nice smooth, and even you have to finish what you start. You can't just chop one part and then not drag it all the way down to the end and so yeah, i'm not going to add any layers to the back of it. Just because there's no need at all. In this case, i'm not going to be doing super big and choppy curls, and if i do, i only want the movement to really be in the front of my hair, not really in the back um and so yeah. I think we're all set and pretty much ready to curl, so i'm gon na hit this with my camera flat iron spray, just because it acts as like a light holding spray, and it really really locks everything into place. I don't usually have to worry about my curls dropping or falling or just anything unproductive so before we get into that. I'M gon na. Let that product just kind of sit in the hair um do its thing and then we're gon na go ahead and start working on the edges. So this is gon na be the baby here right. The big reveal, if you guys, don't want the baby hair, then obviously you can move right into the styling, go ahead and trim off your lace, but y'all see it. Okay, look at that! It'S giving a scalp which i'll be saying it's giving scamp yeah. It'S definitely coming through. So if you want to stop here, then definitely do that. I was so happy with the way that it looked. But i wouldn't be me if i did not add a little bit of something to it, so be very careful when you're cutting off the transparent lace. Just because y'all i've literally slit my skin, you can see how tacked down it is because the glue has set in and kind of spread. So just be aware, especially once you're going reverse. Like do y'all see my skin pulling up right there anyway. Some people like to do this with an actual razor you can to me. It'S no big deal if you have thin enough lace, it's gon na fray anyway, so you really don't have to worry about trying to manipulate it and cutting it in some fancy way. Y'All. If you got good lace, it's gon na work, don't worry um, and so here i'm just gon na go ahead and take out a little bit of edges right, go ahead and move that out of the way go back in with that flat iron spray, and you Guys can see this is a workable spray. I'Ve been using this non-stop, so if you wanted to use a heavier um, you know what am i trying to say. Hairspray definitely be cautious. You don't want to use, got ta, be glue spray for this, because your hair is gon na be stiff as heck. Okay, so definitely skip that, get the camera flat iron spray and i'm actually going in and randomly curling a piece of the baby hair. I don't know why i did it before i wanted to make sure it was going to be the right length. I guess um, and so i used my half an inch or is it the one fourth of an inch um, curly iron or flat iron yeah. So that's what i've been using to just kind of set the baby hair and make sure that everything lays appropriately. And i don't really care for the overly curly baby hair look, so i just kind of lay it down and swoop swoop here and there, and then i go ahead and hit it with my edge booster at the base or at the root closer to that hairline Area not really on my face and just kind of you know, laying that down from there and once you have the baby hair set, go ahead, put back on that elastic band so that that can really just lock into place and then now we're going to get Into the curling, so this part is pretty easy. I'M literally just going to throw some big, not really big, but i guess medium size um want not want curls. I guess these are flat iron curls, but they're going to give wand curl vibes. I'M not doing this in any particular motion at all. I'M just moving throughout the hair um to give like a messy beach wave kind of look so you'll see where i'm kind of flipping one way forward flipping. One way back, if you guys, are not really pros at a curling with the flat iron i'm using the eap heat iron y'all. This iron is so smooth y'all know, usually i'm using my fhi uh two inch iron, but i wanted smaller curls this time. So i'm gon na go throughout my entire head just back and forth, using that iron and yeah that'll. Pretty much be that on that once i come back we'll kind of finish this up and give you the big reveal, but for now uh yeah y'all have gotten literally all the juice start. To finish, be right back all right guys, so you can see that i am on that last curl, for whatever reason, once i get to that last curl to finish off the style it just. I don't know, if my hand is tired or what but my brain it just forgets what direction to curl it, but i'm going to go ahead and hit this with my mazani humidity resistant, uh spray, and this is like a stronger, maybe like a medium hold spray. I use this on my natural hair to prevent any like reversion. I don't even know if that's a word but any reversing of my hair, um and so yeah going in with the cream of nature. It looks like it's just that light. What is it it's? Like? A light oil i usually use the bio silk, so i can't remember the name of this one. I haven't used it in so many years, but nevertheless i'm using that to just add a little bit of sheen to the hair going all throughout you guys can see. I left the ends of this a little bit. Wispy, i'm gon na go ahead and take off the elastic band and voila everything is weighed down. Y'All look like, i just left the salon and you all saw how we came into this okay, so i was extremely happy with everything the hair is super soft has so much body so much volume. Everything is just kind of laying in place now. You will have a few pieces that you might want to go back through and kind of curl and reset, and that's totally fine um these curls actually last i'm gon na say a good two days, and this is with me tying it up. Of course, putting everything in a bonnet once, it's time to go to sleep, you can literally just put it into two big twists and take them out in the morning. You'Ll have nice and soft juicy waves. You guys i'm going to show you the back, because i know you always like girl. We want to see the bag, so it looks like i missed a little spot. I should have curled it a little bit more, but nevertheless we got we got the beachy wave. Look and i am all for it, so definitely let me know what you guys think about this leave any comments or questions down below from here. It'S pretty much just a bunch of slow-mo's and me admiring my hair because y'all we did this, so i don't think i'll be adding any like color or anything extra to it. I don't know if you guys have any specific questions regarding wigs to me. I feel like i've, definitely posted so much good content over the years to where you guys are able to just go back and figure out how to get these things installed at home. To save you a little bit of money, i did do a little flip over y'all saw me shaking my head just now. That'S just to add a little bit more volume into the hair um. I didn't want to tweeze it tweeze. It tease the hair out too too much, but i did want to add a little bit more volume in the bottom and yeah we are all set. I love you guys so much stay pretty and i will see you guys in my next video bye babies.
