So I tried to apply a lace wig... Let’s just say this was the ULTIMATE struggle and I may or may not have failed miserably. Anyways, I hope you enjoy, XOXO

This hurts really freaking poking my eyeballs out here. What the heck is happening here, hey, what's up y'all, it's a girl, Katie and welcome back to my channel today. I will be attempting to apply a lace wig, so I'm using the perfect lace wig and it comes with like these little clips and a wig cap, and this thing that it recommends that you read what I don't really read anyways. It says my order. So if you want to check that out pause that screenshot, it go right ahead. This is what the wig looks like it's like that basic 6:13 color, I'm not really here for it. So, of course, I am going to dye it, but I did remove 3 out of 4 of the clips as well. So I'm taking this big, yellow bowl and mixing the Wella hair color in 9, + G +, 9 G with two parts developer. One part hair color and then I did that twice so yeah mixing it up, and then I want to do that. Little watercolor technique. But I didn't really know how so I just throw in some water to whenever it looked right and then I'm taking the hair and just completely saturating it in there and making sure it's covered. And then I kind of just let it sit for like 20 minutes, or so I don't know something like that. Anyways after that was done and ended up turning out like this nice toned blonde, but I want to make the roots darker. So I took the Demi hair color in dark natural blonde, which is actually more like a brown I'm not gon na lie. It is like a dark brown, I'm just mixing that with developer as well and I'm applying it to the roots, just the roots. That'S my process, I'm doing there folks so just folding the air over making sure everything's covered, and this my friends is the color after yeah, I'm pretty happy with it. Not gon na lie, so that's the coloring process and now we're moving on to putting it on. Okay, guys, I have picked the wig, I have straightened it, and this is what she's looking like y'all I mean I did like look at this. Oh anyways, now, it's time to attempt to apply stocking cap. You just put this right on here: tuck these braids in i braided my hair, like really whack whatever, so I'm just gon na be using alcohol because you don't want to need stuff, that's limiting the glue from lying on your forehead, you, okay, oh god, my eyebrows! This hurts taking the got to be gluten free spray. Oh it hurts. I can't see - oh, Oh God, I'm gon na cut. This is hurting me. I can't see what I'm doing. Okay, so I've seen this thing where someone used a eyebrow razor to cut it. Instead of the scissors, okay, this is definitely not working better. No, there we go. I think I got it now. Oh, oh my god. Oh my god, I cut my skin okay. How I believe, it's time to apply the week? Oh No! It goes alright. So I got this new, this new glue, um. What'S the directions, tiny dogs, guys tiny dots, I've never used this stuff before a little nerve-racking. You know, I think it's waterproof. I think I could go swimming with it. Oh wow, she is sticky there we go pull her down, not too bad right. She is on and secured not really. Some areas he's a little more secure to curation. What let's try to take this down and see what she's looking like stay? Does it look bad kind? It does look bad. Maybe you should try like a half up half down what the heck. I look so weird right now. Oh my god stay it looks horrible. Maybe I should try like a middle part or something what the heck is happening here. I give up all right. You guys we got some bad news over here. Weed is definitely lifting. Look at this. Look at that I suck at putting on wigs I'm just not about that wig life, so yeah don't give up. Please feel free to leave me some tips down below. I, like the wig, like it's a nice wig just I can't seem to find a way to freakin, apply it I'm gon na stab myself. I probably did several things wrong. Aubree Banks: Don’t start messing with it after you lay it down. Tie a scarf around it for 10 min then you can play with it. And use a curling wand to get the part to lay flat how you want it. I would say hot comb but not sure if you have one lol. But you did do a great job on the actual wig itself and I saw them baby hairs coming together keep practicing! Love ya

JeanDeLuxe: Hey boo, let the glue dry down till it’s tacky. Then apply the middle down first and then the sides. Don’t rub it in. Tie it down for a half hour to an hour , if you don’t want to do that. Dry the lace with the blow dryer being on the cool setting.

It took me several try before being able to do an at least proper job, ghostbond should be layered at least 3 times waiting 30 seconds for each layer to dry than the last layer 6 to 8 minutes, than u can follow up placing the lace onto the tucky glue and follow the directions many girls gave u in other comments... Sun Queenn: You did a nice dye job!! Like a few of the other comments said, do maybe 3 layers of glue and try to maybe get a hot comb to lay the bulky spots up top or wet the hair and then lay it so you can part it whichever way n let it dry.
Life of Diana: LMAO if you lived in Toronto I'd help you out girl. Ok first things first, you have to put at least two layers of the Glue (Ghostbond glue that you had) and let it dry clear in between each layer. 2nd you have to put the glue closer to the "hairline" of the stocking cap that you secured to your head (good job BTW doing that). Next you need a rat tail comb - go to the beauty supply store and get one and use the tail of the comb to press your lace into the glue (once it dries clear and sticky to the touch). Then press it there with the rat tail comb for a few seconds to make sure it adheres. I suggest you add glue to your stocking cap hair line one section at a time. Like add 3 layers to your forehead, press the lace in then once that is down do each side separately again putting 3 thin layers at the hair line then pressing the lace in just as you did for the forehead. Side note: do not press the hair on the wig in or you will end up with a mess like you have in the video. After you've pressed the lace in all the way along your hair line, get a long scarf and tie it around the perimeter of your head so that the lace will "melt in". Keep it on for about 10 mins then take it off and style your wig how you want. Hope this helps girl. Not all is lost, you did a good job still.

Queen of The Garden: When you apply the glue press down on it and put your blow dryer on the area while pressing down , some people apply a scarf to hold it . But I don’t . But I recommend holding the blow dryer on the area or the wig itself for atleast 7 minutes or longer
