What'S poppin y'all as you guys moving from that title down below today, we are going to be doing an in-depth wig and saw - and this is something that I have been getting requested because you guys look know how I melt my lace. Oh, I'm gon na show you how we melt our lace. The wig that I'm going to be using today is a 36 inch straight wig, and this is from Asteria hair and make sure that you go ahead and hit that subscribe button. My love, so you can become a part of my career, so you never miss any updates from me. So let's go ahead and jump right on into this video. Now that we have moisturize our hair, we are going to be moving on to our way cap. It is preferred that you use a cap that is similar to your skin tone. I mean it really doesn't matter because you can always put foundation on it, but it's always best, in my opinion, to just go ahead and get away cap that is similar to your skin tone. I'M gon na be going in with my guys to be glued and spraying my hair, like this method. Actually it helps protect your edges so that you do not lose them when you're taking your weight off and Lauren knows. We want our edges, so we just go. Let that dry and then we're going to move on all right so boom I'm going to be going in with my foundation. This is completely optional, but me personally, this really is the part that tops off your wig and helps it lay and look so much more natural. I'M going in with my Lancome foundation. I am in the shade 415 bisque. Just in case any of you guys were wondering alright sis, so when cutting your wig cap, I repeat, do not okay, do not cut it directly on your hairline. The purpose of this method is so that your edges do not get snatched, so you want to make sure that you are cutting your way cap further ahead of your hairline. If that makes sense, y'all get what I'm trying to say these. Next two clips, you are going to see me cutting my ear pieces and it's very important when it comes to your ear pieces that you make sure that it is very symmetrical to your hairline. You want to make sure that it is exact to that weight cap, because if your sideburns are not laid down flat and neither will the rest of your week, the rest of your wig is just going to look a mess. I promise. Oh here's, where I messed up when it came time to my wig, I should have used my concealer to put on the lace, and this is the main purpose of transparently so that you can put whatever foundation you use or concealer and match it up with your Skin tone so that the wig melts perfectly okay, so this part is very significant. I like to go in with my got to be glue and I spray the hairline so that it's basically getting frozen to my scalp already. So when you're doing this, you want to make sure that you have some type of comb or maybe an edge brush and you're combing out that hairline, so that it looks very sleek. So here's, where things get a little bit tricky for us newbies we like to use scissors and scissors, is not the way to go. Ladies, I promise you need to invest in a razor. You can go to your local Beauty Supply and get it for like a $ 0.99. I think it's very cheap. This razor comes in handy because, with the scissors you get more of a straight edge versus when you use your razor, you get more of a jagged edge so that it's not just one straight line across your wig. Now, I'm just gon na place an elastic band over my hairline and just let it sit for about 10-15 minutes and then I'll come back and start working on the edges. I think it's important to decide what kind of part you want before you get started with your edges, just because, when it comes time to baby hears, I feel like my baby hairs when it comes time to my side parts, they look completely different to what it Would look like it fills in the middle part? I just have different type of baby hair. It'S for a different type of style. You not I'm saying alright so middle part baby. Here I like to do four. Sometimes I'll do five I'll add the at one extra one in the middle, but I didn't feel like doing that today. I just didn't feel like this style needed it. I feel like this part is what really makes or breaks your wig I like to go in with some got to be glued, and I will take my hot comb as well and you're basically going to set those edges. So this is so important because, basically once you're setting it it's just molding and it's starting to look more like your Scout, so that when you decide to go in with your baby hairs, all you have to do is just swoop it back, and it looks so Much more natural, alright y'all! So when it comes to the baby hairs, I'm gon na here and cap, it's gon na be hard for me to try to explain this just watch. I end up going in with some tweezers just because I noticed that some of the baby hairs were too thick. You don't want thick baby hairs because that's when it starts to look really unnatural. This is the hair. This natural state I'm going to be straightening it, but I'm not going to be using any of my silk serum just because I ran out so in this video you're, not gon na get a chance to see what it looks like bones straight. But what I can say is that this here is a 36 inch 13 by 6 lace, frontal wig - and I got this in a medium cap. It is a hundred and eighty percent density and this company sells up to 40 inch wigs. So if you are interested in long hair, this is definitely the company to go. I definitely did have some shedding, but it was very minimal. Wasn'T that big of a deal go pick up your some long, hair hot girl summer to top it all off? I think my last step usually is putting my silk wrap on the park and you're, basically just gon na sign it out with your hot comb and then after this yeah. Why did I have like a little video shoot myself? I don't know. Well, I thought I would. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video.
