Hi, I'm Morgan Gann, the CEO and founder of switch comm and the author of the lace, big Bible. Today we're going to talk about how to part lace front wigs. So the first thing you want to do when you're parting, a lace front wig, is use a rat tail comb or a comb that looks similar to this. So the first thing you want to do when you're, I'm parting, your hair or your lace. Wig, actually is you want to part the hair in the style in the direction that you're looking for so right here, we've started with a side part, but let's go back to a center part and see exactly how that works. So the first thing you want to do is identify where the lace ends and where the wefted hair in the back, which you don't want to see begins. You can't part the hair behind this point because then you're gon na see - and everyone is gon na - know that you're wearing a wig, so we're gon na focus on the front part and when parting, the least wig, so we're gon na give a center part. I'M gon na start right down the middle okay and I'm not gon na fight the hair. So you want to be careful so that you're not breaking the hair while you're parting it. So, as you can see, the part isn't as perfect as it should be, but we're gon na take our time. I'M gon na take the comb as I'm going through section by section, I'm getting very, very precise, with the hair that I want in the part to the left or the right. So I'm getting every individual hair either party to the left or to the right, and you can see that as I work my way down, I'm getting only the hair. I want to move on the side of the part that I want and you want to be parting from back to front okay, and this way you can make sure that the part is straight and that all you're seeing is what would appear to be scalp. But it's actually the lace base of the wig, so you can see here. The part is clearly defined. So it's important to remember that when you're parting, your hair with a lace front, wig that you can only part your hair, where the lace is present, which is normally along the front of the hairline, you do not want to part your hair in the back, where The lace is not there, therefore, exposing the wefted hair, therefore revealing that you're actually wearing a wig. So this has been how to properly part your lace front, wig, I'm Morgan Gant, the founder and CEO of switch comm and the author of the lace, wig Bible,
