Why don't we it's Gabe and I've got new hate new year new hair right like let's try something different. I decided to step completely out of the box and try red hater, and this is my first time trying a new company and it's best lace, wigs. They sent me this unit to review and I actually really really like the color at first, when I put it on. I was like I'm not sure if I can pull this off, but it is definitely grown on me, and I mean you know what I'm all about trying new things this year. So I want to try color the Lord, because why not? I really want to color around here, but until I work up that curve that courage, I'll just put on different colors of hair, so yeah like this is their celebrity inspired Ashanti unit, I don't have the name of it. Let me see so the number of the unit is osw 0:24 and it's the Ashanti glueless ombre hair I'll, put the rest of the specs here so that you'll see what I'm working with, because I don't have all of that in front of me but yeah like I said this is my first unit from best lace, wigs. It came in this nice little box right here. I was really impressed with the quality of the box, for whatever reason I mean I was just like marketing. I, like you, know pretty things, so I thought that this box was really nice on the bed. It talks a little bit about the hair. It says it's tangle free. It talks about the quality and the price shed free, all that good stuff and then right down here. It just shows you the style, the color and the lane of the unit that you receive. So you open it up. The hair comes in Antarctic with a net over it, and these are attached to the hair, and these are just tags that it gives you hair care instructions and like how to attach the full length with it kind of remove a full lace wig. So it's cute, it gives you some instructions on how to do that as well. Now what I will say that I was not impressed with what came with the wig like that, was it inside the box was just the wig. No wig cap no brush like nothing else. Just the wig and the instructions which a wig cap and a brush is not necessarily needed for a unit, but I guess I'm just used to getting that do with the company that I've dealt with before so I was expecting at least one of the other. So I did not receive that, but other than that I thought that the packaging was nice. I like the box, you know pretty standard so about this unit when I took it out. It did not look like this, so I have some footage of what it looked like when I took it out of the box. I first thing I did was try it on. I left the lace on and I tried it on now when you get a full lace unit from any company. The first thing you should do is take it out and try it on: try it on and make sure that you'd like it before you cut the lace because 9 times, I'm 10 10 times out of 10. Once you cut that lace, it's a wrap. You cannot go back like you, can't send it back if you if it doesn't fit right or if you don't like the color, there's nothing. You can do once you cut that lace off. So I tried it on first and decided that I was going to stick with the wig and then I cut the lace and put it back on. As you can see, it is like bone straight when I put it on so it was really kind of puffy at the top, and I wanted it to look as realistic as possible. So I made sure that the part was straight and all that good stuff and then I kind of went down the top of the unit with my spray bottle, wet it down a little bit and then I dried it with a blow dryer. I combed it down kind of just kind of trying to flatten it out little bit just to give that realistic. Look, I flatten it down, and then I think I actually tied my scarf on and I left the scarf on for about 10 to 15 minutes. So once I took that off, I just curled up the unit with my curling iron, and this is what I came up with this hair is Chinese virgin straight, so I was really alarmed at first because it wasn't like yaki and I'm normally getting yaki and my Units because I feel like that's the most realistic for I'm, not gon na, say for all African American women, but for for my type of hair wearing a yaki unit, looks closer to what my natural hair looks like. But honestly, I think I really like this. The silkiness of this Chinese version - i you know, i wear virgin hair when I wear my weaves, so it's basically the same thing and it curled up really good. I didn't have any issues with that. I'Ve not had any issues with tingling no issues with shedding and like this unit is all good. So far - and you know I haven't really like worn - it worn it morning, yet I've just kind of put it on and running around the house, but I haven't had any issues with it so far and I will talk a little bit about the density of this Unit, I am in love with the density of this unit because it is a little thicker and normally I get it like a hundred percent. That'S what gets sent to me, but I think this one is a hundred and thirty percent, and this is closer to the thickness that I prefer my units to be like. I, if I had my way, they'd, be like 150 and up percent, but this 130 is really good because, like as you can see, I'm trying to show you guys the back here like it's really really a nice light, and I can put here on the sides And still have hair in the back Yano. That is like key and very important to me, so I am feeling this length, this density with best like sweet. I also have a Loomis cat in this unit, so there are adjustable straps in the back and two combs on the side, and I can't remember if there was a column on top. If there was a column on the top. I took it out because I don't like combs at the top they're unnecessary to me, but it also what I do like about. It is the hairline. The hairline is very realistic, like it's not just your straight curved hairline, it's really realistic and by the ears they have like little metal pieces in the inner tabs to keep the ears from like slapping back. I went ahead and just pinned mine behind my ear because they were they were getting on my nerves, but I do like having that little piece in there just to keep them straight, so that they're not flipping and flopping in the wind now something I probably will Do to this unit is an attach, is attach an elastic band just to make it fit a little bit more snug, but other than that look, I have no complaints with this unit. I don't have anything runs apart right now, like I didn't put any concealer or anything on the part, and I think it looks pretty realistic. I didn't even tweeze the part, and this is what the part looks like and right now I have one like a flesh-colored stocking cap, but it's not all the way to the top. So if you look closely, you can see where the stocking cap starts and where it ends, but I just have my hair parted down the middle some it lays on top of my part. Now the knots are not bleached. So that is something that you would also have to do with this unit. If that's you know, if that's a big concern, you can bleach the knots or you can just do the concealer trick or whatever so yeah. This is my my initial review on this hair. I like it, I am impressed with this unit. What do you think you like me with red hair?
