"Soul Sista" by Bilal (instrumental)

Hey yeah, I feel like a stripper in it all right, so this is the trick to how I cut the lace off of my wigs. First of all, if you're familiar with lace front, wigs you've had some you notice, when you have the extended lace, that is on the front of the wig. The edges that are the edge of it is not straight. It'S serrated or what some people call a crinkle cut, it's not a straight edge on the end of that lace. So I like to follow the exact same thing that the manufacturer has done. I use a pair of pinking shears. These are scissors that are a source use us people who like to sew. So that's what you use now. They do have some texture shears that you can purchase for when you're texturizing your hair or cutting your hair, and it has like the serrated edges on them. As well, but I don't use those I have these, and this works just fine for me. So what I do is I actually, while it's on my head, I don't cut it. If I had the UM, the textured shears or the serrated shears for cutting hair. I would be able to do it, but while it's on my head I would try to pin and clip all of this down and then I would lift it off my head. So here you see the edges straight. That'S what most wigs look like when you, when you purchase them, especially the lace front, wigs the edge of it, is serrated or cut in the zigzag motion, try to use or find some scissors that give you that xane effect again. I want to use my pinking shears and it's just as simple as cutting it off as close to the hairline. Can you can try to keep a little bit of some lace front, opening the four lace front left in the front if you want to, but I try to get close to the point where I'm almost cutting the hairline off and there would be what the edges Would look like that's what I like, so that it doesn't look too perfect I'll, say that and you now go back, especially in the center forehead part of it and clip a little bit more closer. If I have any extra lace extended below it, because I don't like extra lace, like this extra lace, extended up below it, the hairline like to cut as close, if not along the hairline, where the hairs are, if I can cool from there, I just kind of Pulled some hairs that might have possibly come shedding from it, and this is what it comes out. So I put it on or into the hairline and, as you can see to me, that makes the hairline look a little bit more real all right. As you can see, it doesn't have a lot of extension on both sides. It almost seems like you might have to take this down, but I'm not going to ever. Do that or wear it up. So that gives me a little bit better of a hairline. You can see to me that looks better a lot better. You

Deb H: So glad I saw your video! I love it! Appreciate you pointing out the extra lace with the serrated or crinkle edges - never really paid much attention until now. This will be my first time cutting the extra lace - usually I get one of the girls in the beauty store to cut it (using straight shears) because I've been apprehensive with doing it myself. You've inspired me! I will buy a pair of Pinking Shears. Great job! Thank you!
