In my mind, ring the alarm: it's Beyonce time. Okay, so we are gon na. Do a lace wig now miss Beyonce is queen bee. So what we're gon na do in her honor is show you how to properly apply and cut the lace on a lace wig. Now a lot of people don't know, but lace. Wigs have been around a really long time. They were actually created for Hollywood movie stars. So when you think of like the Marilyn Monroe's and the Greta Garbo's, all of them had lace front wigs. It gave them a realistic hairline that was able to withstand being on the sets for long periods of time. So it's not something new, but you know what they say: everything new is old and then it comes back again. So, let's tell you about the new lace fronts: the new lace. Fronts are really lightweight and, as you notice with this one, the lace goes down quite far from the actual wig itself and that's, oh, you can customize it. When I'm working with clients, I like to cut the wig on them, instead of actually cutting it in my hand, because when I cut it on them, it gives them a more customized look and it looks more realistic. Okay, let's show you how to do it. What Xavier is doing is that he's actually just taking the little wispies, because Jacques original hair color is a 1b and we are actually gon na put her in the selena wig in a color DX 20 to 16, which is that Beyonce blonde. Now, with supreme hairs, lace, front, wigs, you're gon na get combs in the back and combs in the front as well as being adjustable in the back. Now, as we put the lace on we're gon na tuck, the wig cap. So that way it blends into her hairline now with some lace, wigs, you need to glue them or use a piece of tape. Supreme hair does give you a Hesus, but because our wigs are so high quality, you're gon na be able to go without either. One of them in the back you'll see an elastic that we'll be able to customize to fit your hair and you'll also have combs in the back. So no worries it's not coming off. Looking at the wig cap, what makes lace wigs so realistic is that it looks like it's growing out from her head. You can actually see the hairline now, once you have the lace wig in position is when we'll cut it. But again you want to make sure that you have all the little wispies tucked in especially when you're going from a dramatic hair color like sure uncas, 1b Selena's, DX, 22:16. Okay. So let's cut the lace. Xavier is starting right by the ear and that he's gon na cut all the way around and he's cutting it on her. Instead of in his hand again when you cut a lace wig on yourself, instead of in your hand or if you cut it on a mannequin, you're gon na get a more customized look because then you'll be able to see where your hair line falls. Naturally, and we're not cutting any of charandas hair because remember her hair is in the wig cap safely protected. So all we're cutting is the lace. Once you have, the lace cut, pull it firmly and then you can start to blend. I love the way. Selena. Has these beautiful highlights going through this is what Beyonce is known for, that wonderful, gorgeous golden lock and that's what selena is delivering to you? You can see the highlights and the lowlights in this, and it's really beautiful this week is really full and it's really soft to the touch. I can pull some of these curls to make some waves and the hair does not tangle. That is the sign of a quality wig and that's the symbol of supreme the 22, which is kind of the gold color and then the sixteen that runs through it is your highlight color, which is of a white blonde. Yes black women hair is brittle, easier to break or fall out but that goes back to not knowing how to properly maintain their hair. Zullala: Ugh, my hair is pretty thin so I like to puff it up with extensions... or well, I used to till I shaved it all off. Now I wear wigs to change my look up :D. It's so much fun. The wigs in this video don't look "supreme". They look like regular beauty supply store wigs. Nothing wrong with that, I have a few cheap-o wigs that I love <3, but I wouldn't hype them up so much hahaha. Maybe it's just because of the lack of styling that was done to the wig. If it's real human hair then maybe they should have customized (i.e. cut and styled) it for their client. Plus, there doesn't appear to be any parting space! It's such a waste if you can't part the wig. I think lace-fronts that you have to slick back always look fake. Ya should be able to have 3 or 4 inches of parting space on an expensive wig.
