Adding Hair To A Lace Front Wig

Adding Hair to a Lace Front wig is fairly simple. This quick video will go over the basics of how to add thickness in 30 minutes or less.

All right good day, everyone, how are you at CCN today I thought we talked about adding hair to a lace, front wig. So the way that I have here with me now is a I think. It'S a 20 inch, I'm natural way, basic Indian hair. It'S a lace, front, wig cap, so she wants to get it thicker you know, adds weights get older um they thin out. It just happened. It'S full lace, lace front. It can happen, so we want to go thicker with this one. So when you have a lace front wig, I always tell people the best thing about them is that you have left in the back of the cap um. So the great thing is that you have left already here. So you can go in and you can add hair as you need to so what we'll need for this on is a couple of things. Of course, you'll need to hear that you're going to add, and what I have here is just about four ounces of natural way, the same care that this was originally made. With a quarter pair of scissors, I have some pins. These are quilting pins on people like T pins, I use a block head and I have my thread and puntal holders. Some duckbill clips things like that basic things that you'll need to hold the hair in place, while you're kind of sewing hair back in. So I also use a curved needle in it um. You know I for weaving method to offer the Sharpedo I like a curved needle because it I'm it's easier for me to use. I can just go in and out and weaving out as I want to. So it's super super simple for me. So that's what we're going to do on this should take me about 30 minutes to add in I'm going to go ahead and get started with it. So you can see exactly what it is that we do so. Alright, let's get started see that I've parted off where we're going to go in and all we're doing is just adding hair and that's all that we're doing literally. So what I like to do is I like to use on nylon or silk thread. The reason why is because cotton thread expands too much and when you're trying to ensure the longevity of anything so in or a unit, you want to use stronger thread. So what we're going to use today - because this is enabled a stretch - lace, we're going to use a nylon stretch thread. That'S what we're using today and I hope you can see it clearly on your camera. But you can see this thread. It'S like no joke and it stretches just why I like it a lot so I'm I use this, but normally when I'm adding here to me, so let's go ahead and get started. So what I'll do is I'm start with my back panel? Alright, I'm probably about three, maybe three tracks up, and so what I'm going to do is I'm just going measure where I'm going and then go in an ad. So what I do is I double the tracks in the back and then I single them as I go up a little bit further. Now some people go all into challenges with autumn cut the hair away, because it's going to blah blah blah you just take percussions. After I mean if you need to use a web seller or whatever thing, you would do that, but we're making a unit - and we don't have time for lumps and bumps in the unit just because you want to make sure that the hair didn't sugar won't shed. It'Ll be fine, just sew, but at this point now I hope that you can see it clearly from the angle that I have this camera act. But that's what we're doing I'm adding this weapon and the way that I saw is I make my foundation with my knife and I just go up and I come over now. You have to be a lot more patient with nylon thread because it is so thick. Sometimes it doesn't fly through you like you want to like you have to be from now we're getting ready to add some more, and we have a really clean space to work with right here, and we can just literally out our weapon right here and the great Thing is that, from the last track that we added we have some thread left over so or is it somewhere near here from all we have to do is literally find that bread. This is where I'll be someone and carry that up through and carry that up. Throat or working on line - and we can use the remainder of this threat. What I happen to thread me, one, the being tell you, go, got this little bit: it's just people on going we're going good. Now, it's always your choice, whether you want to double or single, it attracts most people like their units to be violent, heavy meaning they have a lot more thickness and lengthen the back. So that's the reason why I double them in the back, but that has to be a decision you know just for me, everyone's different. You may want to distribute your four ounces of hair evenly throughout the entire unit. You know, if that's what you want to do and you want to do single mom, but you know I practice paternity. We start to kind of get used to do it, find your own way or what's easiest, for you always say what's different, so we got a thing. You want to create a really strong foundation after the dairy, because that's what you're over no you're not, but I make sure that first night is great. Then you do it a couple more times just to make sure that foundation is great before you carry on too soon and we're here talking double knot as well, like just to be sure, BAM foundation step, so we're getting dizzy. I'M right-handed - I am. I am right handed so I know some people made so and differently and I'm also sewing kind of awkward because I'm trying to be positioned where you guys can see me clear enough, but if you're left-handed you may have a different type of movement, you may just Go in differently, I'm not, but you just got ta just practice it and do it works for you. I definitely recommend that you invest in a red flag. Is there going to be I'm doing this on? You know like the not like all the time type of a thing, but if you're going to be adding hair into your units, you want to get your stuff that's 30, to play with them up with biopharm anything has our cool they're available. But honestly, you can't even give a Styrofoam head to hold on to a way plant. Obviously they just don't, if I may forget, they're made for which storage honestly invasive things like um, maybe weak, silent, quick with tiling, but nothing major than that. I use them when I'm washing and drying unit, so I watch the unit and I'll put it on a Styrofoam weed things to dry. That'S about the extent of what I do with the styrofoam we've hit, but you know we're all different so see wouldn't like to use it, but I might open them. So we get to investing and I and I wait block Santa's head myself so for this unit. For this particular client, she didn't want to go crazy thick, but she just wanted some extra, so I figured that four ounces would probably do the trick, which I believe it will and if we have to add more hair later we can add more hair later, but I believe that this should be enough for what she's going for you. Okay, so we are finished with the project of adding hair to a lace front. Wig, we've added it, so this unit has to now be washed and brought back to life, but um. I just wanted to show you the process as best I could on how you go about adding hair back in, because it's really really simple. It'S not hard at all. So this is our end. Result is it's just, you know, literally just hair. That'S what you've ever done. It'S just it's just hair, so we have to watch it, get it back together and see what the final result looks like. We definitely have some trove thickness here now, which is really really great, so I'm excited to see what this website after I wash it, but that completes the video on how to add hair to a human eye lace, front wig. Thank you guys so much as usual. For watching I'm going to try to pull out or put out more videos that are helpful to you, but I appreciate you as always, and thanks so much have a great day. Bye.
