Hey guys, thanks for coming to check out this really quick video, I just wanted to show you guys how I take the color out of my virgin hair units that are 613 blonde units. I take the color out and I color them again and use them over and over and over again just wanted to show you my process. So I start off with a unit that I've colored and I go ahead and boil some hot water and I put a little bit of Tide detergent or some sort of clothing detergent. And I put like a cap full of that into the water. And then I submerge the wig into the boiling hot water. I swish it around a bit and I keep my watch on it. And then I go ahead and take it out after about a minute and a half of being submerged into the hot water. And you see the dye literally like draining off of the wig and now it's left into the water. So then you go ahead and pour off that water. You add new water, you add more tide and then you go ahead and keep repeating that process. You repeat that process over and over again until you can get the hair as light as possible without damaging the hair. Remember you're using boiling hot water and laundry detergent. So it is a bit harsh of a process. Mind you all the while the hair is getting slightly tangled because you're swishing it around. So you want to make sure that you're taking care of the hair while you're doing this, but you do need to repeat the process at least six times. I did the process about eight times to get it as light as I possibly could, and soon the water will start to run clear, and you know that you've gotten as much dye out of the hair as you possibly can after you complete this process. You want to condition your hair for at least ten hours overnight and then you'll end with your finished product, and this is what the hair looked like. When I was finished, this air is from virgin hair market. You can look in the information bar down below if you'd like to purchase it thanks for watching bye.

The Funny Bombshell: Hey girl! I tried this on pink hair and it worked! The hair felt like straw afterward but I took my time combing it with a wide-toothed comb and I used silicon mix to deep condition it and now the hair feels like butter! THANK YOU!!!

Crafting with Angie: Nice color removal tutorial Jess. I would have never thought of that. :)

Assana Haynes: I just did did a strand test with my Kendra’s 613 wig that was dyed red it brought the color right out and didn’t mess up the hair

Dahlia Cheung: For everyone who has had bad results- in order to boil hair in general, it needs to be high quality hair that had been bleached to blonde very carefully and without damaging the hair, whether the lightening has been done by you or whoever you bought the hair from. It's kind of hard to tell exactly how damaged the hair is, which is why I don't necessarily recommend this method because if your hair is just slightly more damaged than the hair used in the video this will destroy it. So this is something that should be advertise as a try at your own risk kind of thing. Considering that semi permenant dye comes out with how water just from showering (why hair colorist recommend washing your hair in cold water to prevent fading) this method can be done with hair that is extremely hot but not exactly boiling. It may not remove that much color but will still be effective enough without being so damaging.

Mkayla Webb: I did this once to my hair with xtra detergent and when I rinsed it all the hair fell out. 500$ down the drain ☹️

Mem Ibrahim: I loved this video it’s directed it easy os helpful thank you

Marie096: I learn so much about hair when watching your videos

Judith F. Davis: Oh my gosh thank you this video will help me so much

Rosie Westphal: So happy I found this! Gonna try it

Moral Compass: PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW TO GET THE DETERGENT OUT OF THE WIG AFTERWARDS. IVE WASHED IT SO MNAY TIMES AND ITS STILL CRUNCHY

peepla7: Wow. I was gonna try Dawn. Thank you....gonna try this....I have a discoloration on my lace .....gonna spot check it and see if it takes it out! I do assume you gotta deep condition the hair after, right?

sally holmes: Don’t do this ,it has wreaked my new wig and it’s falling on and it’s gone gummy in texture . I’m gutted as I’ve spent £150 on my wig but it s no use now and it’s in the trash ☹️

Courtney Brooks: I tried this and now the laundry detergent won’t come out of my hair. I’ve rinsed it about a million times. Any ideas on how to get it out ?

dulcie Xo: Wouldn’t this give heat damage ?

Kaniyah F.: you guys don’t use this method especially if it’s on human hair wigs. i did this exact same thing to my blonde wig & it made it so rough, dry & made my wig shed a lot. i tried many different things to attempt to bring moisture back to it and nothing work & i did it for a second time and my wig was destroyed. so if you guys can find a better way to remove then do that

Allthewayin Smith: Thanks for the video...one question...does the lace get tinted or it goes back to translucent...i dye my wig to dark trying to fade so of the black out of it....

Caleah: I don’t recommend this to anyone AT ALL ! I did this and my human hair wig ended up fried and shedding a lot, it’s now thin and dry and the ends are a mess. I just wasted a perfectly good wig

Sandee W.: Awesome- have u tried adding the conditioner or Argan oil to the solution with the wig while it’s boiling? For less damage.. just a thought. Thanks I can’t wait to try it

Kyana Lara: I did this and now the hair on my wig looks like over processed bleached hair and won’t stop falling out

Kersha Beaver: Nice job.

Moral Compass: This may be a stupid question, but should I shampoo the wig afterwards? Also will this ruin pots

Airi Lamb: Can you show how to dye a synthetic wig

Chantel Chanelll: In just brought some color oops thinking “ oh this will work” along with they bleach stuff disregarding this whole method ‍♀️

Kisel Zaide: Can you do this in synthetic wigs?

Jester Jadai: I tried this i didn't really get the color out an my hair came out horrible i could not comb through it i had to trash it

MzDivaShy: I did this with dish soap & baking soda & my wig melted ( like over bleached hair ) It removed the color but it killed the hair. I want to try this but I’m scared

Tee Uhh: Clearly by the comments you guys shouldn’t even try this. Buy color remover the boiled water will destroy your especially if it Brazilian and the lace with be extremely stained.

Jennifer Hollon: It ruined my 500 dollar unit....chunks of hair all over fell out. So pissed

Paris Monroe: This turned removed the color for me but stained my lace badly

LifeWithNayy: It destroyed my wig

Safarii’s SHOW: Do this work for adore dye ?

DivaNy hair: yass
