Howto:Lace Front Wig: No Tape, Glue, Or Cap

Hey there YouTube welcome back to my channel today. I'M really excited because I'm going to be doing a tutorial for you on how to wear a lace front, wig with no shape and no glue, and if we want to go ahead and throw it in there. No wig cap, either the lace front wig that I'm going to be using today is from lush wigs. If you have not heard of lush wigs lush wigs is a great weight company, where the selection is just ridiculous. It'S ridonkulous, the selection of wigs that they have is just out of this world, but this is the lush wigs little cart that comes with it on lush, wigs calm. They have a Facebook and an Instagram. I religiously follow them on Instagram. I love them. They have the quality of wigs are fantastic. I am going to let you know. I was sent this wig. I am modeling it for them, I'm so excited. So I didn't pay for the wig, but I have. If you follow me on Facebook of things, I will never promote something that I don't fully believe in, like 110 percent, not just a little bit like I have to like full-on love. The company and I've worked with a lot of different wig companies, and so far lush wigs is just beyond customer service is so amazing. They get back to you right away, they're, so helpful, supportive. Whatever you need, they got you. The selection is ridiculous. Like read Achilles and the quality of the wigs is just. I feel that the wig feels better than my own hair, if that's possible, and it is because it does, it feels better than my own freakin hair, I'm pretty stoked about that. So this is the wig that I have Emma take it out of its little guide here. This is the crystal ball lace front and the color duh. I'M obviously cannot be in love with it straight off the bat. It feels absolutely incredible: it's got some nice layering. It is alone forever alone, and we've got the lace front here and basically the difference between the lace front and just your regular standard, cosplay, wig or costume wig. It'S not going to have the lace here in the front. It'S just going to be like a finished edge. Let me show you so this one is dirty and you need to clean it, but this is the non lace front, just your regular cosplay wig, and this is the inside and it's got its little strappy things in here. That is a regular wig compared to our lace front, which has the lace in the front and then on the inside. If you take a look, there are these like claws or prongs here and those are going to fit into the wig cap or just into your hair, and then we do have the straps just like the other one, and this is like the tag it says Krystal. I haven't taken off the tag, yet a difference basically is going to be. The lace front looks a lot more natural. It looks like your natural hair, your natural hair line. It doesn't have that bulk right there at the hairline either. It just looks a lot more natural, like it's your own hair, as opposed to hey girl, I'm wearing a wig. Now, with the lush wigs, I will say even the non lace front, look very natural, the way that they are done, and there is a lot there are a lot of hair, fibers or synthetic fibers. It makes you look like you. Have a nice full head of hair so no worries there. But if you do decide to go with the lace front, it is going to look a lot more natural and I'm just going to show you today how I cut mine and wear it and how you don't have to fit into that cookie cutter box when you're Wearing a lace front wig, you can use a lace front without tape without glue without a wig cap. Even these things can be done and I hate thinking they can't that just irks me to no end like you have to do things a certain way or you're wrong. So what you're going to need is just a pair of scissors. These are just some of my old haircutting sitters sitters. These are some old haircutting scissors. So, basically, what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut this lace along the hairline, so there's hair strands and fibers in the lace here, as you see, and I'm going to cut this kind of, as close as I can, I want to get too close Because I don't want to cut into the hair fibers and loosen that, but basically what I'm going to do is. I am just going to cut that and then I will show you from there how we are going to apply it. Okay. So now that I have that cut and ready to go, it's going to look something like this. Where you've got it's just missing now that lace piece is missing and there is just a little tiny bit of free edge along the hairline, and this is just to make sure you're not cutting too close to the hair where it starts to loosen those strands or Fibers now we have the adjustable straps from the back, and what you're going to do is you're, going to take that and hook it into this back piece right here, there's little loops here that you can hook it into depending upon how tight you want this. I like to wear mine pretty stinkin tight just because if it's a lace front, I want that to sit really close to my hairline. So I'm going to take my straps and I'm putting them on the second loop from the edge, and this is going to just in short, and you just hook it down in there. Okay, so you just hook it in there and it's like that and now that crisscross over here, I liked my wigs to fit very tight and snug just so, it does look like tighter to the hairline. It'S going to suck all that in so now. If you don't have a wig cap, first of all, you can make wig caps. You can use a pair of old, leggings or tights and just cut the end off and you've got yourself a wig cap. You can go, buy a wig cap they're, like 99 cents. You can get some, I lose mine, so frequently it's not funny. So what I like to use just because I know I always have these handy - you can just really just use something like this. This is hairband or like a yeah like a hairband. It'S gon na hold your hair back now with the rest of your hair. What I suggest I like to do is I like to take my hair and put it in a little bit of a French twist in the back of my head, and I secured that with like one or two bobby pins. It doesn't have to be perfect because we're just going to be putting this in our wig on over top. So I'm just going to take this, and I am going to sleep on my hair back and put this along my hairline okay, and then I am just going to I like to apply mine from the I like to find my part wherever I want to place It on my head and today I'm just going to do a center part, and then I fold it from the top back now. I'M done. I flip it and obviously you're not straight so I'm going to sit here and mess with it until I get it straight. Oh yeah, this wig is so beautiful, I'm feeling so good in so many now. What you can do to make this look a lot more natural is you can pull some of your own hair out? My hair has a cowlick right there, so it's going to lay off funky and wonky, so I'm just going to pull that up and make sure it's like right at my hairline and that looks nice. I want to show you the full length so standing up. This comes to like my bellybutton is like right here, so I'm still like bellybutton length. Oh my gosh. I am feeling hella glamorous hey! Oh! What'S that? Oh, yes, yeah! Okay! So now I've got this lace right here and I kind of want to hide it and make it look like my natural, my natural hair part. So I basically all I'm going to do, is take a little tiny brush and I want to take some concealer. Basically, you can use a powder, you can use a liquid whatever you want to do, I'm just using a concealer that is like a thick liquid form and then you're. Basically, just gon na want to lightly run that along that line there, and then I like to kinda blend it in a little. So it looks like your own hairline like a there, there's my heroine hi, so I had to stop filming because I needed to take some pictures. Cuz um, you know when the inspiration strikes girl, you got to take hold you gots to do what you got to do so anyways, I'm going to go ahead and show you the other option, just cut just to kind of like make the wig look a little Bit more natural, you can pull out some of your own hair from the wig cap or the band that you have my case. Just this headband, Oh mine, so tight, I told you I like my wigs tight. So, okay and my hair is blue underneath right now, but it actually almost works out just fine, because that's silver and kind of like it on my under girl and I'm gon na match my part with that and then kind of pull it back on. Okay. So that's just to make it look a little bit more natural. Now I have my little bangs see it doesn't look right on me like I watch other people do it and I'm like yeah that looks good. That looks natural. Then I do it and I look like cousin it, Oh something I didn't do with this, and I don't know why I didn't do this. I didn't show you, but if you want you can take those clips and I stick them in front of the band and then just like secure them into your hair. I, like I feel like it's tight enough. It'S secure enough for me. I don't need to do that, but you can just take those and you clip them and you tuck them into your hair band if you're using a hair band a wig cap, if you're using a wig cap whatever it is that you have on just tuck it In tonight, and that's going to help give you a lot of stability, so your wig isn't moving around, although it is nice, if you bout, stench somebody at home come on so who wouldn't rip anyways.
