Modifying your retail lace front, this lace front is from the genic collection. It is a wig that has wet sewn onto the wig cap, as you can see, and also lace around the perimeter of the front hairline, as you can see here, and also a lace in the nape area, and what we're going to do in this video is To add baby hair along the perimeter of the front hairline, our client wants it to look really natural instead of it going straight across, as you can see here, so we're going to add baby hair along the perimeter of the front hairline to add the baby. Here you will need a hair ventilating needle and holder. So here is the holder and the needle is here. I hope you can see it a needle is size 1 and that will only pull one hair at a time. So it will be really fine and thin for the baby here and also you can choose loose hair of your choice. Your client will most likely want baby here. That is straight if your wig is curly just make it look more natural. So this is a synthetic hair, loose synthetic hair and what we're going to do is cut the hair from this a piece of synthetic hair here and we're going to add bits and pieces around the hairline. When adding baby hair, you will need very little hair. Always remember to fold the hair strand in half to form a small loop, and that is where you're going to use your ventilating needle to pull the hair and tie the knot into the wig lace. Also use these pins to hold the lace in place. If you do not hold your lace in place and make sure that that the lace is firm and secure, your needle will snag every time you baby hair has been successfully added to the perimeter of the front hairline of this wig. It doesn't look like that. There'S baby here on this wig, but there is I'm going to turn it to the side and pull the hair back a little bit. You get your brush and comb it down here and, as you can see, there's the baby hair and it just lies flat. Let'S see here and it's added throughout the hairline, so when adding baby here is really important to make it look very natural, don't attempt to create your own hair line when adding the baby here I suggest that you add it horizontally, like the hair line of the Wig, but at the baby here also within the hair line of the week here. So I would add it right here and also behind the hair line, so that your client can brush the hair out of the hairline and make it look natural and with this baby here, my client will be able to wear her hair up and she can wear Her hair down or she can wear it, pulled back and stick it down on the side and make it look very natural.
