Frontal Wig Over Long Dreads ( Bald Cap Method ) Truematch Lace Conceal | Wig Install Over Dreads

Hey guys welcome to my channel today, i'm going to be showing you how i do a frontal wig install over long dreads, i'm doing my sister's hair today. If you want to see how i did it keep watching guys. Okay, so, like i said we're gon na be doing infernal, install over super long dreads. I think my sister has been growing her dreads for about three to four years. Um. We installed these so yeah. They are pretty long and they are pretty thick, but i first started taking the dreads and two strands and y'all don't come from. My edges today was a crazy day, but back to the video we're gon na, take the dreads and start by twisting them flat at the top and two strand twists and then, when we get them down at the bottom, we're gon na braid them down. And then i put rubber bands at the ends of the hair, and i just like to do that. So it remains as flat as possible in the top part of the braid down um yeah, because when you put the cap on, you want it to be super flat, but you also want their hair to be secure. So that's why you switch to the braids at the end of the dreads, make sure you're not pulling your client's hair too tight, but yeah. I'M just grabbing these large rubber bands and i'm gon na just make sure any of the dreads that are kind of like poking out. You just want to make sure you tie to the bottom so that the hair can be sewn and moved around. So basically, when you are doing this, i got this technique from. I am beautiful hustler and basically you braid the hair down, and then you start moving the dreads and sewing them in different directions like all crazy, different directions. Just so you can get it to fit. So i did that with her hair. It took me about an hour to get so about the same time like a braid down and a cap put on. So it took me about an hour to do this and um. Now i'm just gon na move on to the cleaning process - okay guys, so i am taking 90 proof alcohol. Actually, i think this is 70 poop alcohol and i'm just cleaning her skin and i always want to make sure to clean the skin of your clients to make sure that you can get a good bond for your lace, install um so just like. If you have some sticky tape and you're trying to get something to stick, if the tape gets dirty or if it has stuff on there, it's not gon na add here. So the same thing goes for our lace glue. If you have dirty skin, the lace is not going to last. This so always make sure to clean the skin before before, before y'all, remember, clean the skin. Okay, and with the bobcat method for a dress, you want to have two caps, so the first one you want to put on the back part of the dress, to kind of like compress the uh dress down, and then the next cap you want to use for The top part of the hair and then you're going to just kind of um sew them together. So it's like one huge cap on your client's head, but yeah so um. This is just i'm pretty sure. It'S just to compress the like. I said to compress the dreads um down and make it just a flatter install because with it being so much hair in the install, you don't want it to look bulky. So i did like this method and i did get it from. I am beautiful, hustler she's, a great stylist, but yeah um. This seemed to help - and this is my second time trying to install a wig on my sister's hair now, the first time it didn't go so well, and that was like a couple months back, but i educated myself and i came back guys. So yes ma'am, and it's really just a long dress that i felt like i had a problem with the short dress, we're easy to do: wigging styles and on my instagram i do have pictures of the wicked sauce i have done over dreads, but basically back into The process, so i did go ahead and start cutting the holes for the cap for her ears and her eyes, but while i was doing that it did split on me, so i had to stop in the middle because i didn't want it to split anymore. Okay, so now i'm just sewing both of the caps together and i'm just doing this because we just want to have one huge cap, since we used both of the caps for the bald cap method. After this, i'm just going to cut all the excess lace off of the cap, and you want to get as close as you can to the glue and um after we do this. We are going to just melt that cap in a little bit more but um. For now, i'm just going to take the wig and i'm going to measure it on her head just so we can make sure we get a good fit and we can cut any excess lace off that we need i'm taking the true match, lace conceal and i'm Using dark and i'm spraying that all over her lace and guys, if you have not used this lacing, i'm gon na just tell you right now, but just go on there and order it like it's worth it like. I don't even know how to explain it, but i don't know how i was doing lace before this, because it just took it up to another level um. I do want them to do like a really really light tint, because i do feel like for, like my caucasian clients, or you know, latina girls, we need something for them, but for my brown skin girls, this lace tint right here honey - is the bomb.com. It comes in four shades and so far i've been able to use it on everyone. Um, like i said it's just except for my really really like bright skinned clients - and you know i do have the color tan, so i'm gon na try tan. I haven't tried it on them. Yet i felt like it was a little dark, but you know what i'm gon na go back and i'm gon na try it and then, if everything works out, i will let you know, but i'm looking for a lace tint for my lighter skin tone clients, but Right now, i'm going in with the got to be glue spray and i'm spraying that over the ball cap or the edge of the ball cap and we're just going to mash it in and then blow dry it so that it can be melted. I'M going ahead and i'm taking the cap and, as you can see, this cap is really tight so or this wig is really tight, so i did have to go in the back of the wig and cut it for my sister because y'all it was just too Tight on her head, so um yeah, i'm just going back and but luckily it was enough to cover her bald cap. So that was a good thing. So i'm going back in now and i'm about to just cut around the lace so that we can get a um idea of where we're going to be laying the lace at and shaping the hairline. So when we get the glue - and we start putting it on it'll just be really easy and we won't have to do any puzzle piecing so, okay, now i'm just taking an eyebrow razor and i'm just cutting around the shape of her hairline and um thing. I hate when i stand in the camera. I want to do better guys: okay, but yeah we're just going ahead and cutting her hairline out, and this is just going to give us the idea of where the lace needs to be laid when it is time for us to go ahead and lay it down. Okay, now that we did that, i'm just gon na go in and clean what i got to be glue. Spray was but yeah you just want to do one little clean, and then you want to go back and clean it. One more time. I'M telling y'all your lace hats, so your skin has to be clean for this lace: okay, but yeah y'all bout to be so mad at me, because my phone went out when i was doing the process of me laying this but guys. You know what it's just gon na, be a beautiful install in the next couple seconds, so yeah thanks for staying through this video and sorry, i disappointed you but um yeah next time i'm gon na make sure my phone is charged. But yes, this was the finished product when we got done. I'M gon na do another video this week, guys for y'all because i dropped the ball, but i didn't want this content to go to waste um. The next wig install won't be overdressed, but yeah. We see how we got this looking so yeah. Basically, this video was just to show you guys how we doing a ball cap for my girlies with dreads and who wants to get a funnel, but yeah like if somebody saw her like i'm pretty sure they wouldn't be thinking like.
