Hey y'all today i'll be showing you how i made this butterfly: lock: lace, frontal wig, using passion, switch hair sent to me by sami sue a hair company on amazon. So if you're interested in watching go ahead and stay tuned, say i'm proud of you, you know how so, let's just jump right into the video um. Today i got some hair from sai misu, an amazon hair company, and this is their simone sue passion twist. Hair 18 inch six packs bohemian freetress water wave, synthetic curly, crochet, braids long, hair extensions nature, i'm sure they meant natural black 1b color um. They had some other colors, but yeah. We got the 1b, so the package came with the six packs of hair and it also had a pamphlet with the company's information and instructions on how to do passion twists, and it also had a crochet needle some clips and um some duck clips or allegedly eclipse. Whatever you want to call them um all right, so let me just go ahead and open up a pack um first impression the hair is kind of crunchy or whatever, but i think it's the perfect texture um for natural hair and the perfect texture for butterfly locs Um, it doesn't have a smell. The hair is very lightweight very springy. So far, so good. The strands are very easy to stretch apart. I didn't get much tangling for the most part um, so i was really happy about that. I went ahead and did most of this wig off camera because i just didn't want to take forever on it. So i did the whole back of the wig off camera and i did most of the frontal part off camera. But i left to to do with you um, so you can see how i created these um butterfly locks um, because these are a little bit different from the distressed, faux locs that i've done or the other butterfly locks that i've done with the crochet faux locs. Underneath um for these, i just use the passion, swiss hair alone and one piece of spring to his hair. Just to do the a little color pop um you'll see that end but anyways. To start with the log, i started with taming the frizzy hairs. First, with my shoes bomb collection, balm goo and i'm gon na use that um as like a edge control, type thing like basically how one would use edge control on natural hair, and once i get all of those frizzy hairs contained and i smooth the front of The hairline down i'm gon na, go ahead and braid each section. This is two sections, so i'm gon na go ahead and braid those down. First and now i'm gon na go ahead and grab two strands of the passion twist hair and i'm going to stretch them once i stretch it then i grab my crochet needle and crochet into the braid, and then i hold one piece to basically have one end: The length of the lock that i want and i use the other end to start wrapping it around um as i'm wrapping it like. Basically the way that i'm wrapping it the two strands of passion to its hair are twisted and tangling into each other. So i don't know much about that pinch and twist or whatever it's a method that people are doing. I don't know much about that, but this is the way that i wrap it and then i palm roll it to give it that distressed. Boho type. Look, you know all right and now i'm going to go ahead and do the last one in slow motion um just so. You can like really see like what i'm doing me. So all right. So now that all the locks are complete, i'm going to go ahead and cut the rest of the black cap or the excess black cap um from underneath the frontal part and the wig is almost complete um. Now i'm just gon na go ahead and add some accessories um, some shells some rings some clips and i'm not going to be actually installing this wig in this video. I'M going to say that for a next video um, but i am going to try it on to see how it looks on me - and this is the finished look. I am loving this wig, i'm loving this wig y'all. It is very lightweight like compared to the long ways i've had very lightweight and i like the curl that is giving off. You know little spiral curlers, giving off or whatever i really love that so yeah. These are my butterfly locks, and this is my butterfly lock. Lace: frontal wig.
