How To Reinstall Used Water Wave Lace Frontal Wig | Tinashe Hair

INSTALLING MY WATER WAVE LACE FRONT WIG AFTER THE LACE IS CUT OFF | TINASHE HAIR

This video is about how to install your human hair lace front wigs again after initially cutting off the lace and installing. Most videos show you the first wig installation, but not how to do it again once the excess lace is gone so I wanted to do a video showcasing that because obviously you don’t want to wear your wig once.

So we're gon na start with freshly washed and conditioned hair, and at this point IM detangling the hair. You can use any conditioner and shampoo that you like. I use cream nation and I use Aussie moist 3 minute miracle in this hair and then I'm just detangling. It out, like I said, and really focus on the top, because when you are washing the hair, it can get more tangled at the top cuz you're flipping the lace over you know and everything to get like gel off of it and everything. So you want to make sure to detangle the top. So now I'm taking my Garnier Fructis leave-in and it's leaving that's supposed to be good for when your air drying and I'm putting that through the hair not too too much at this moment. But you know enough to make sure that it dries condition, and this is what it's looking like so far as you can see, my hands are running all through that nice auntie tangled. I love water way. For that reason, so this is Evan lace tint, I'm using that to cover my knots, because I didn't get a chance to bleach this unit initially because I'm having more bleach at that time and we were on quarantine, so you know couldn't do that. So obviously you want to put your wig on when you're ready, and this is a day after I let it air dry. So, that's why it looks a lot bigger now and it's crucial at this point to have your hair pin back very well, because you don't want little hairs in the front to get caught up in the glue. When you have your initial install in the lace, isn't cut off, you don't run into that issue the same way because you know you got that the rest of the lace to block any hairs from getting stuck in your glue or gel whatever you're gon na use. Anyway, so I'm sizing it up, seeing where I want it to fit on my head and I'm taking off any excess lace on the ends. You know over time. The reasons you the reason you end up, throwing your frontals away is because they start to bald over time, and so I'm just trimming up any pieces where it doesn't have any hair in the front anymore, not that this ball did badly or anything like that. It'S just that you know delicate baby hairs in the front will come off with usage and I've worn it I'll. Let my sister wear it and I'm just washing it again. Even after that, so it's got a little wear and tear. So after that and then just again sizing it up making sure everything's in the right place and then I'm going to start reapplying the wig on the forehead right here. I wouldn't recommend, if you're not used to doing this, to apply it in even smaller sections, and I did like I took a whole, basically the whole front of my forehead, but I would go even just starting right in the middle first then. Even just doing the whole frame before hey, if you're not used to it, because they can get a little messy and hard to do when you do a big chunk. So here's like I said like that middle piece you just saw me, lay down first, I would say, start there and then work your way through the other sides. But it's not you know the end of the world or anything. I would just recommend that, if you're new to doing this, so as you can see, I am tacking that little part down first before I were to start working two sides, and that is because, when the middle part is secured down, it's easier to maneuver your wig Maneuver, your wigs on the sides without having any issues of like moving the wig out of place from where you want it. I'M not quite sure why. Every time I put the blow dryer in frame that my footage got cloudy, I'm still used to like. Well, I'm not still used to like using this iPhone life just yet. So I'm not sure what I did to make that happen, but it's only when I have the blow dryer so hope you all be alright. So after that, then I'm gon na take my washcloth Fez, just wet with water and I'm gon na clean off my hairline, because you don't leave any residue on your forehead. It will dry that way. You don't want that and I press down any parts of the lace that started to come back up from that and then I'm gon na put my scarf on to help me melt the lace all the way down. I leave the scarf for him for probably at least 10 minutes. I left this one on for about 20, but at least 10 minutes. If you want to speed up the process, you can honestly what's a call, pull up a blow dryer to and what the scarf want, and you know it'll speed that up even more so, but I let this air dry with the scarf on for about 20 minutes. Sometimes I even get in the car and I'll just wear that you know scarf on my head, so I get to where I'm trying to go for that melt. So you know just leave it alone as long as you can and then when go ahead and take it off when you're done and then you can get to styling, you can actually the scarf on while you're styling to that's another way to do that. But anyways. I'M blending in the lace because it's a little bit dark from my skin tone and I think I had my oh. I know I had my black cap up too little too far, because it's blocking you to be able to see where I put the wig and like looking like it's coming out of my scalp. It'S a little. You know it's just um kind of a dark background on the wig, where I really want to do the skin background on the wig, so ah next time I'll have to pull that a little bit farther back. So you can see more of my skin anyway. So I'm putting this in a middle part and setting that with my hot comb and you don't want to go too far down the hair because you don't want too much of the curls to be straightened out. But you do want your weed to lay you know. You want your part to be flattened down. I'M also gon na use. My wax stick to help me light any flyaways and also to help me set the part down so to help me out with the hairline I'm looking a little dark with the black wig cap. I'M gon na take out some baby hair around my temples. I won't go in-depth on how I do that, because I've done that so many times you know, y'all know how I do and it's personal preference. So you don't have to you know necessarily do baby here, but I am gon na add a little bit and then I decided to do the wet look on this hair because last last review I did of this. I did it in the you know the bigger hair, the way it came form so now I want to try the wet look and what you do for this is just get it saturated with water. You don't want to dripping away it, but you want it very saturated with the water and then after that, you're going to detangle again, because we've done a lot more manipulation since the last time I detangle, so I'm gon na detangle once more make sure it's all Smooth and I'm gon na take my Garnier again, I'm using a little more this time so about this the amount I used on my whole head. Originally, I'm using that on one side to help me keep the hair way down longer throughout the day and then, if you have curls, they get a little too heavier weight down, just scrunch it up, and I do that to both sides. So then, I just take my pressed powder and I brighten up that part and smooth that in there, and that is how I reapply my wigs, shoutouts and tonight right here for this water wave unit you'll be leaned down below in description box. Thank you guys. So much for watching I'll, see you my next video bye,
