Hey you guys welcome back to my channel, so today's video is sponsored by ashamari hair and it came in this bag. So i'm just going to open it up and see what it is that i got so i did get a wig cap. I got a pair of lashes and i also got a edge brush and now i'm going to open up the wig itself, so just taking everything out taking off all the wrappings and stuff and opening it up first, so you can see what the inside looks like And what the lace looks like so a lot of parting space to work with, and here she is 24 inches, and it is straight so this is the wig on my head. I did bleach the knots and i also just used some foundations to tint the lace. So i'm just trying it on and seeing how it fits, and now i'm going over the hairline with a wax stick so that i can hot comb it when i hot comb it. It just helps to see the hairline better. So i can see where it starts, and i know where to lay it at on top of my forehead, when i could just see what the hairline looks like. So that's all that i'm doing just slicking the hair back and you can see here it looks so much better when you hot comb it like. You can see the difference and, like i said you can see the hairline a lot better and now i'm just going to cut off that lace. That is going over my ears. So i just start where the bottom of my ear is and just cut going backwards and just be careful not to cut any hair like in the back, just make sure that you're only cutting the lace and the hair. That'S on the lace that you are cutting off, but i did cut off a bit like a lot of lace, but i do have a small head. So that's very typical for me: it's already have my ball cap ready to go so i'm just going to go in with the bold hold lace glue and i'm just going to start applying it and using this comb to spread the product out. So i just like to keep spreading the product out until it's completely it out it'll dry down a lot quicker when the glue is evenly spread out and there's no lumps of glue and stuff like that. So i'm just going to do that and i only did one layer and, as you can see it dried completely clear. So i can go ahead and lay my lace down and, like i said with the hot comb, i can see where the hairline starts. So i know where to place it at on top of the glue and that's all that i'm doing i'm going to place the middle down first and then place the sides down one at a time and then once i have the lace on top of the glue. I will take the back end of a comb to just really press it in and make sure that everything is sticking so that there's no sliding. So i did tie an elastic band down onto the lace just so that the glue can finish drying down and make sure that everything is sticking and then once i did that and i let it sit for maybe 10 minutes not too long. You can also go over it with a blow dryer, but i just let it air dry and now i'm cutting the lace off after letting it sit with the elastic band. As you see me doing here, just cutting the lace off because the glue is pretty much dry down at this point, and here i'm just going over the lace with this contour powder that i have it's just a duo kit, i'm just using the darkest shade to Help blend in some of the lace that i can see that looks a bit light, so just make sure that everything's blended and it looks melted. That'S all that i'm doing and i'm just taking a small blending brush now to the styling portion of this video. So what i wanted to do with this hair was a deep side part. So you just see me taking my comb and parting off my side, part i'm doing a right side, part, and i want it to be curved. So you'll see me here trying to just curve the part a bit and what really inspired me was jt. I seen a picture of her. It was her summer walkers when they did their um song x. For a reason, and one of the pictures jt had like a little side part - and i was like - oh that's cute - i want to do that and this hair is straight. I haven't done straight hair in a while, so i thought it would be really cute and i'm just taking this wax stick so that i can go over the part that i just parted with the hot comb, and i also took this gonier sleek shine serum and I'M also going to go over that as well, and it just really helps to sleek the hair. I really like this product. It'S definitely does what it's supposed to do, so, i'm just going over that with the hot comb. As you can see, it really pressed this hair out. I love how it's already coming together and i really haven't done much, but just part it and go over it with the hot comb and, like i said, the hot comb is really pressing it out, but also the serum that i use also really helped to press His hair out as well so jt also has some baby hairs. I'M just gon na do my normal baby hair that i do. I'M not gon na do anything like extra, so i'm just going to pull some hair out on the side and since the bang will be over my face on the other side, i'm not going to do the other side. So this will be the only side that will have baby hairs. So i'm just using the hot comb that i got not the hot comb but the edge brush, i'm using the edge brush to pull the hairs out. And then i'm just going to cut it at an angle so that the hair is shorter at the front. And then longer at the back, if that makes sense and i'm using the eco styling gel to lay them, because it's the only product that i find that works for me, i feel like it works best for me, so yeah, i'm just going to sweep them. How i want to swoop them and you'll just see me doing my baby hairs and that's pretty much it. I may go back in later and add an extra baby hair on the same side, but i'm not sure just because, like i said i do have a small head, so it's not a lot of space to work with so normally i only just do that. One baby here, but i may try to add an extra one, we'll see at the end, we'll see what happens and i'm also going to do a sideburn, because i feel like it completes the look, and it just goes with the baby hair that i just did So basically i did the same thing. I pulled some hair out and then i cut it and then i just use the eco styling gel to lay them. I did not curl the baby hairs. It really just depends on what kind of mood i mean. I don't really feel like it makes that huge of a difference unless you are just doing the curly baby hairs, so i feel like either way i still get the same outcome like the same look. So now i'm going to take this gonier flat iron spray, i'm going to spray not too much but a generous amount onto the hair, and then i'm just going to rub my fingers through to kind of work the product through and then again i'm going to take That same sleek and shine serum i'm only going to do one pump of that not too much because you don't want to put too much of this product on the hair. It will weigh the hair down. It won't be as flowy. It will look, limp and lifeless. So just keep that in mind when you're, adding serum or oil to the hair and now that i've prepped the hair. I am just sectioning off and i'm starting with the bang first and i'm going to use my duvall flat iron to achieve the look. So i'm just going to go over the hair just to press it out and i am using my detangler brush to do the chase method. So i just basically pick up the hair with the brush and then just follow behind it with the flat iron and that's how i will do pretty much the entire wig and this wig did have some layering, which i was surprised. I don't know if you guys can tell, but the bang part is definitely shorter than the rest of the hair. I did not cut it like that, so i did like that. It already did come like that, because i would have ended up cutting it in that same style just because it will complement the shape of my face more when there's layers falling in the face, instead of it all just being one length. It just looks better and i didn't have my flat iron turned up like to the max, which normally i do, but for some reason today i was just like. Let'S just turn it up halfway. I don't know what the degree was that i had it on, but normally like i said, i turn it up all the way. This time i had it like midway got the hair still pressed out beautifully, and i got the look that i was going for. Like i said, i haven't had straight hair in a while, so i'm definitely feeling it right now, i'm feeling the vibes. So i will have all the details on this hair listed down below so make sure you hit that drop down arrow and check it out like this video comment down below and sub, if you're not already - and i will catch you guys in the next one. Sometimes she took the whole thing: baby.
