Hey guys welcome back to my channel in today's video, I'm showing you guys how I make my frontal wigs. The hair that I'm using today is from pew forever, and this is what came inside of the box. They were kind enough to send over to 26 bundles a 24 inch bundle, a 22 inch bundle and a 20 inch frontal, and this is what the hair looks like before came out the packaging. I love that it tells you what size it is or what length it is and what style it is. So this is how the hair came packaged. It was super super nice straight out of the packaging. I did not wash the bundles before I made my wig, but I did wash the frontal and you will see that in this video. This is what the frontal looks like. It was super nice. I was really surprised at how natural the frontal looked before. I even did any work to it or did any maintenance. I did have to go in in lighten my lace because it was a little bit too dark and you can see right here, I'm showing you that it is a little too dark for my complexion and since I've been in the house so much lately because of Quarantine, I am losing my melanin. Okay, I am NOT gon na Brown chicken nugget like it used to be, but I'm gon na show you how highlight in my lace and I'm gon na, be using this RIT color remover and I got this off Amazon. I will link it down below I'm gon na. Do some popsicle sticks and I'll show you why I'm gon na use popsicle sticks and you need a little bit of water. This is warm water, just all hot water from the faucet, and you only want to pour it in a tiny bit of water. Okay, you don't want to fill up the entire container with water. You just want enough water, so it can cover the bottom of the container that you're using, because we are going to mix up a solution to create a color remover for our lace, frontal, and I don't go in and pour the entire thing in first, because I Wanted to be able to make sure I mixed up everything really really well, so I pour in little sections and then I go in and add the rest of the powder, but I like to make sure it's super super mixed in together. So there's no chunks left inside of my frontal, then I'm just going to slide my frontal in the solution now be careful because this will lighten the actual hair of the frontal. But if you keep the hair's like from falling into the solution, you'll be fine and I did 10. I did take the color out of my lace before I bleached the nuts, so you want to remove the color from your lace and then bleach your knots and then in between it's sitting in the water. You want to be sure to add more warm water into it and I'm using this little edge brush to brush out the lace, because, as you brush it, while soaking in a solution, you can actually see some of the color leaving a little bit. And I did this for about 30 minutes and in between that time, like I said, I did add water just to keep the temperature of the water warm. So here is what the lace looked like after 30 minutes of it sitting in soaking in the solution. I just went ahead and washed my frontal using purple shampoo, and this is this - doesn't really the same lace like it's completely different. It'S damn near transparent. Next we're gon na go and we are going to start to bleach the nuts. So you can meet a little bowl. Your 30 volume developer your powder bleach this. This one is from quick, blue and I ordered off Amazon and some more popsicle sticks and I'll show you why any popsicle sticks, so I'm just going to pour the entire packet bleach into the bowl and then I'm gon na mix in the 30 volume developer. But I'm only gon na mix in a little bit at a time, because I don't want to make it too runny, and this was all the bleach that I had, and it literally took me a week to get this because Amazon Prime no longer exists. So I just poured a tiny bit of developer and continue to mix, because I didn't want to like OD and mess it up. So then, we're gon na use the popsicle sticks to spread the bleach on to the frontal, and I love using something that is flat and even because it just makes it a lot easier. First is using something that has it that has bristles, because then it kind of like punches through the lathe and then next thing. You know it's on the opposite side of the hair, which I did not gon na lie over bleach. One side of the frontal, like some of the mats in the front of the part of the frontal, but it's cool because my head is a little bit small, so those parts are gon na be coming off anyway, but for the most part everything else came out. Really good and even like, when I parted the frontal like after I finished, making in everything I parted it, and there were no like over bleach knots in the middle. So I think I did pretty damn good okay, okay, so we are pretty much done covering the frontal. I'M gon na leave this bleach on the frontal for about 30 to 35 minutes, and then I'm gon na rinse it out with purple shampoo from shimmer lights. This is gon na help to tone and even the hair, so it's not brassy and over bleach don't process. Look at those knots. I did so good and you can see right there. I kind of you know over bleach one side, but it's okay, I'm not perfect. At this, I'm not a professional, but I did pretty good like the knots are pretty much ended, invisible, so I'm going to pluck and customize the hairline just a little bit. Now, I'm not a professional. I literally just watched a ton of tutorials and tested out some tips and tricks that I found on you know I'm just watching different videos, so I did wet the hairline and then I learned that you're not supposed to poop like part out any of the hair And then pluck you're supposed to just plug everything together, if that makes sense, so just starting behind the hairline without parting, any of the hair out and just kind of going to any spot that you see, looks too dense or too thick. So I did this for a minute and I didn't OD because I said I'm not a professional, and I would rather like have to go back in a couple of times and make it perfect versus doing it all or doing too much the first time. And then next thing you know about bald spots and my French was wrong, so I'm learning okay, this is learning process. I'M really actually excited to install this week, which there will be a video coming soon on how I style and lay my wigs, which I'm excited about cuz. I got some new products and I can't wait to show you guys, but anyway yeah. So I am just showing you guys how the frontal looks. It'S not perfect, but I think it looks super natural, so I'm gon na do the same thing to the opposite side. Now I'm gon na show you how I make my front elites and don't mind the mess in the background. Yes, I was watching Netflix and stuff on my phone because I don't know I could find a remote soon. Let me live, I just pulled it down a little bit. I have a lot of forehead space, but I don't like to OG, because if I do baby hairs and it's gon na look insane so I just pulled it down, maybe like an inch and then I pin it to my mannequin head. So once everything is secure. I want to go ahead and get the hair up and out of the way so that I am able to sew, and I have a clean working space and it's not like aggravating me. While I'm trying to sew cuz honestly I suck at sewing like it literally, will take me all year long to so one wig, because I'm I just sew, really slow. I can't help it so now I'm gon na go in and sew down the frontal. I'M gon na be using a leaving needle and it has a little curve to it and what I like to do, instead of trying to sew everything across, I start from the middle, and I work to either side so I'll start from the center and then I'll Work to the left side first and make sure that's tacked down tight neat and it looks smooth and then I will start from the middle again and I'll work down to the right side or vice versa. I find that this makes it a little bit easier for me to sew and it's not so much thread and it doesn't get as tangle for me since I'm not a professional. I need to like really take my time and like focus, I guess, because I suck at something so I saw this side down and then I do the exact same thing on the opposite side and yeah. So this is what my frontal is looking like. I started. Matt time up the best of my ability, like I said, I'm not preferred, but I think it came out pretty decent it's flat and there's no like humps in it. So here is one of the bundles that I'm gon na be using to start my wig and I'm abusing this 30. Second, super hair, glue or super bond here, and you can find such a local beauty supply and I'm just going to measure out from ear well from one side of the front toe to the opposite side of the frontal, cut it and then apply some glue once We do that I'm gon na go ahead and apply it right where I want it like where we previously measured - and we are going to do this until we get to like the middle of the head and I'm gon na use a blow dryer just to speed Up the drying time and to make sure it's intact so that it's not slipping as I'm actually doing each piece I wan na make sure it's secure. So as I'm moving on, I don't have to double back and tack down or, like you know, redo any pieces. So imma do this for a couple seconds and then I'm gon na move on to the next piece. I'M gon na do this until I reach the middle of my wig okay, so I have made it to the middle of the head or a little bit past. The middle of the wig and I'm showing you guys that I was going in a smiley, face position or is like pattern. Now, I'm going to start going in a straight across pattern. So I'm doing the same exact thing that we did at the beginning of making the wig, but instead of giving it like a little curve in a smile shape, I want to just do it straight across, so I'm gon na measure cut glue, lay the track where I want it to go and then I'm going to make sure it's dry using a blow-dryer. So as you can see, I'm getting a little bit closer to the top of the wig and I'm going a little bit closer to the frontal. So I'm literally going to continue to fill up this blank space until there is no more wig cap showing through so here I am laying pretty much my last piece and I'm just making sure it fits in there really really good and really really snug, and I'm Do the same thing lay it make sure it's in place, dry it and make sure it's secure. So here is what it looks like once: I've stilt up everything it came out really good. It'S super super flat. I didn't flatter on it or style it yet, because I'm gon na film, another video and I'm gon na show you guys how I lay my wigs, how I style them, how I you know, maintain them, so I'm really excited to start doing with videos on the Channel because they actually are quite fun and I had fun making this wig, it came out so good. I can't wait to put her on look at this and I did open myself just from watching YouTube videos. So I'm pretty proud of myself. If you guys want to see how I lay my weeks be sure to subscribe to my channel I'll, see you next time,

Jade Simmone: Hey so here is a quick little disclaimer. This trick 1000% worked for me but some people are saying that this trick caused their frontals/closures to bold or shed. But this didn’t happen to me. So I would recommend doing a test strip on whatever frontal or closure you’ll be using just to make sure that the integrity of the lace can handle the color remover. Just wanted to let you guys know!

Jennifer Sturbaum: anyone mentions "super beginner friendly": is not Jade mentioning super beginner friendly: clean editing, lighting, demonstrations, instructions, just a lovely human to listen to in general I'm going to have to watch your other videos and I'm excited to see what you upload <3
