Hey YouTube, this is Lilly Robinson and I am back. I know I have not been on YouTube in a long year. However, I am back, I went through so much which I will make a video maybe later this week explaining what happened and why I was so absent on YouTube and you know not myself for such a long time. But, however, I am back with a quick, quick, quick tutorial on how to remove or clean the glue off of your old lace frontals. So, if you're interested in seeing how I did that continue to watch this video okay, so the first thing you will need, of course, is the old frontal, which this is one of my Olivia's front tools, but it has a lot of glue on it. We need to get off because I wanted to use the same front soon for a new unit and, as you can see, is too connected to the old, don't count and already took the hair off and everything. So you need your old friend zone. Then you need alcohol, you can either use this, which is 50 percent back or you can use ninety one press excuse my dog. I don't know she's having a tantrum this morning, but the one that I prefer to use is the ninety one percent. Why is it's very plain and simple? You want to be able to get the glue off without having to overwork yourself the less the less the the less strength of the alcohol. The more work you have to do to get the glue off a lot of people prefer to still use this one because you know front roots are delicate, so if you're thinking you're gon na ruin your front suit, I will go with this one, but me personally. I know how to remove it without damaging my front shows, so I will be using this 91 % on alcohol excuse my nails, you I have a nail appointment later and then, of course you will need some cotton balls. You need just some regular cotton balls. You know so what you will do with the Sun. What you need the cotton balls for our skin stay here. You'Ll just need the cotton balls cuz. You want to soak your alcohol of choice, which I'll be using 91 %. You soak your alcohol. You suck your cotton ball with alcohol and then you'll begin to remove the glue from your front sue in a circular motion. So that way the hot glue can like loosen up and then you'll clearly you'll be seeing the glue come once of the cotton ball. So I'll demonstrate how that goes, and you know give you some tips on the proper ways to remove it without ripping and tearing urine late. Okay. So, as I've said, I'm gon na start by submerging my alcohol and what I do is just get there. I get two cotton balls at a time. I turn it upside down, and so I feel like the cotton balls are full of alcohol and you'll start to feel it because your fingers will get wet okay, so that'll be enough for me cuz, my fingers are getting a little wet from the. So, as I get the old lace, you see all of that glue that black stuff is dying because I put a ranch on my front suit. Cuz I wan na get black so disregard that, but this is all the gunk. The glue from going down in front sue and what I first do is I get my cotton ball and I sit it on there for about 15 seconds once it's sitting on there. It gets like that. You'Ll see the color coming off on the glue and then you just start rubbing in the circular motion and I work one section at a time starting from the most nastiest season, so they're, not so hard jobs. So, as you can see, somebody at glue is coming up and it'll start to transfer onto the cotton ball like that, but you just keep on doing it. You want to put a little bit of pressure, but not so much. The alcohol itself will melt it and you just keep doing that in a circular motion and, as you can see, that glue is coming up right there. That'S what you wanted. You want it to start coming up from the lace and transferring to this cotton ball. All that is glue and makeup. Of course, the thing I hate about Francis, which I've wore frontals well quite a bit, I think, our straight year of war, Francis. The only thing is that I saw it very easily so, regardless of whatever glue or whatever method, I use inch. My friends just don't last for me, but I don't want to use the elastic band method, because I want my principles to be very secure. So glue is a necessity for me, however, I am retiring the front tooth and going back to closures and I'll explain this later. But as you see it's just a lot of work as far as maintenance on the frontal front suits requires so much maintenance. So you have to reglue it reapply it every so often, and me personally, I just think got time for that. So, as you can see, this little spot is basically almost out of it's almost gone from this area. That'S the area I was working on. I just got this little piece left that I have to remove, but, as you can see, it's very tedious, it will take a little bit of time, probably taking me a whole hour just to properly clean this. This glue off of this front scoop, but I'll continue to show you what I'm doing and then, if you see like little pieces coming up, you could just pull that up, but for the most part I got all of the glue from this area. Most of it, you do not start moving to this area near this little section, then I most of this section and I'll keep going until it's all remove so I'll. Do that off of camera and I'll come back and show you the cleaned up front, soon ready to be washed and reused? She can see you on, ladies and gentlemen, that I have finished cleaning the glue off of my wig, so it only took me about 20 minutes. I thought it was gon na take me an hour, but it only took me 20 minutes to remove it. It is still a little bit of like just here and there you might see a little bit of loan glue there, but for the majority I took as much glue as I wanted to take off so that way now I just have to wash and condition it Which will remove some of the other glue, the little specks that you may see my washing condition and let it air dry and then you reuse, my same same exact front.

Penny Proud: All y’all have to do is pour lightly or plot 91% alcohol on the lace and gentle rub it off . Takes 5 mins

Caroline. Maj: Thank you so much, I think you’re the only person who explained how to do this so well

Rashonda Yanic: One thing I've learned.... I use this olive oil spray from walmart its about $4. Spray it on the glue and leave it for a couple of minutes then you can literally peel the glue off so easily. Then shampoo to get rid of the oil (because oil will keep your glue from sticking) Its way easier and less harsh since it doesn't require alcohol. You can use this same technique to get glue off your edges. I swear the glue just starts rolling out of your hair and leaves no residue. Alcohol breaks down the glue but leaves glue residue.

Thetruth1214: THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!!! IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!!!

Jondonxo: The perfect video, thank you!

peepla7: This came in handy to get the glue off my skin. I just used glue for the first time today...big stringy drip on forehead...and of course.... wouldn't wash off. Haha thanks to you....the glue is on the lace....not my skin, not the hair. And when it's time ...I now know how to remove it from the unit . Thank you!

Toni Durham: This works so good thanks it took least than 5 mins

Nenebisou-Trey: Thank you so much Miss girl!the glue came off magically, surprisingly 50% Isopropyl with Wintergreen. thank you again

Minaj Brazy: thank you so much sis this works WONDERS

Erica Robinson: All I do I squirt the alcohol right on it let it sit then wash it...comes right off. This take too long for me. Use your fingers to work the glue loose or a soft toothbrush.

Catchmeifyoucan: what I do is I firstly slide the frontal glue onto a mirror, then the bigger glue residues will come off, after that I will actually roll the glue off of the wig then remove a bit of it with alcohol then I wash it condition it, and while the conditioning is still on I will use a very fine rat tail comb to comb the edges and remove the bits of glue on the hair. That’s what I’ve been doing for years and all of my wigs come out clean as hell the mirror slide is the best remedy

Dej Love: THANK YOU I was struggling cause I’m new to this wig life babbiiiieeee when I tell you I was lost

James Ryano: Thank you it works on skin to !!!!!!!Thumbs up and sucribe :)

Summer Fierro: She tried to hide the glue at the end of the video that was at the top

MissTia777: I thought once the glue was on it, its over!

Nellshida Webb: Ty it works

S S: This won’t make my lace fray when I rub it ?

ItsJennelle: We can’t see the clean part at the end, the camera was too low

camile beals: Mine just come off when I sweat lol

Laquisha Briyana: I can’t see the frontal at the end & that was the whole purpose for me

Adil Choudhury: Will that work for tape? is it safe to use on lace system? What about cleaning and getting rid of tape using lemon water?

John Henry Lee: Does this work on a spirit gum?

Kaye Bee: Play on speed 1.5x. You’re welcome
