Eilis welcome back to my channel so today this video is going to be a little bit more informative than normal. So have you seen at the beginning of the video? I finally got a wig from divas wigs and this wig has HD Swiss lace. You guys so HD Swiss lace is supposed to be some of the best lace, pretty much the best place out right now and I finally get to test it out. So I thought that I will come on here and show you guys the difference between a few laces, so you guys can understand which one is the best for you and which one is really invisible if you've been wearing wigs for a while or if you're new To the wig game, or even thinking about starting to wear wigs - and you know that there was like so much information out there and wigs have literally changed. I'Ve been wearing wigs for about 4 or 5 years now in the wigs that I used to start off with compared to the wigs that there are now you guys they are completely different like and different in the most best way possible um. So a lot of companies now are selling either transparent lace for HD lace or invisible lace. However, you want to call it whatever they want to call it, and they say that it's the best place possible. So I decided to get a few different laces to come to you guys and show you guys exactly which one is really invisible, HD lace and which one are kind of like the fakes or dupes and which one are regular Swiss lace. So let's go ahead and let's jump right into these different laces, ok, so this is the unit that I have from divas wigs. I have all the information for this unit down below in the description box, along with anything else that you guys may need. I feel, like I said it every time it's like my infomercial, but yeah it's gon na be down below in the description box. I'M just gon na go ahead and take a piece of this lace off the front before I cut it off and I'm going to do the comparison for you guys, okay, so the first thing that we're going to start off with is the typical lace that most Companies were using before they started switching over to their invisible versions of HD lace, and that is this one right here. So this one right here is actually it's: like French lace, it's a little bit thicker, it's definitely more sturdy, but it is thicker and it is a bit more visible on your skin. This is what the normal lace looks like the original lace that most companies use, and it is a bit thick and if you can see it is a little bit too dark for my skin tone, even if I wet it down with. Let'S say if I use this got to be blue free spray and go ahead and wet. That part is still a little bit too dark for my skin, and the lace is still kind of thick, but this lace is really sturdy, which is why majority of companies have this as their standard lace. The colouring is just a little bit off and it's super thick, so it's noticeable, especially if you're lighter, because it shows on me now for the next one. Let'S go up into Swiss lace. Oh Swiss lace is better than French lace, because it's a little bit finer. It'S a little bit the holes on it or the grids on it are a little bit smaller and it's a little bit stretchy, it's not as like, stiff and sturdy as that one. So you do have to be a little bit more careful with Swiss lace because it can tear quite easily, especially if you're plucking it crazy. So this is normal Swiss lace. This is what companies upgraded to a lot of companies actually use Swiss maze. It'S way thinner. It'S a little bit lighter because, most of the time, it's not as tinted and this one blends really well. I actually love Swiss lace, let's go ahead and do it and you guys can see it melts pretty good into the skin, but for some people it can be a little bit ashy. So you do have to normally either tint this with one of those sprays or with the Ritz fabric guide, or use your foundation or foundation powder to get this tube lid. So I'm going to go ahead and compare this one, which is the Swiss lace to at the other one, which is the fridge lace. So this is what the free spray on it. This is the Swiss place right here, and this is the French place that most companies would use. You see how dark it is compared to this one. This one can be tinted a little bit better than this one, because if you're lighter, then it's kind of hard to go from dark to light, but it's really easy to go from light to dark earth that makes sense. So this is what these two laces look like. Obviously I prefer this one over this one 100 % hands down, but a lot of companies do still use this one. Okay. So now that we have the regulars, the normal Swiss lay still on there we're going to go in with the HD lace from divas, wigs um and, let's see, if you can see like, I don't even have it on there. You guys like it's like a ghost. It literally disappears and then, let's see what happens, if I add a little bit of free spray, go ahead, it literally melts in you cannot see. So now we want to take off the normal Swiss lace and I should probably wet this a little bit and now we're going to go with a fake version of HD lace. So a lot of companies are saying its HD lace, but it's really not um. So I want to go in with that one and honestly, this is not bad. It'S not a bad lace. It'S just not real HD lace um, so we still have so we still have there the divas, wigs lace right here, the visible HD and then this one right here is the fake HD. So it has a slight tint to it. It'S definitely not as invisible as this one down here cuz. You can't really see that at all um, but I'm gon na go ahead and add some free spray to it. So we could see the real difference and, as you can see, it does meltdown, but it does not melt down nowhere near as good as this invisible around right here and this one is a little bit thicker than this one. It also has a weird tip than this one and this one just melts down like seamlessly like so actually I want to do a test on my arm. Okay, so now we can take a look at the laces. This I'm going to call the og lace. This is what normally wigs typically have. Then we move down to the fake HD lace. It'S not bad, it's better than than og lace, but it does have a slight tint to it. It is still a bit thick. Then we have the regular Swiss lace, which is really good. It'S kind of invisible, it's nice and thin. It blends pretty well, and then we have the HD Swiss place right here and it pretty much melts the best. So I don't know if you guys can really tell, but here we have it look how that one melt in like even from the side view ignore all of that y'all. It'S the free spray, but in comparison to these look how thick these are and then that one, that's the HD right there. So now that we've had a look at the different kinds of lace now we can honestly say that the invisible HD lace is clearly the best you guys it melts the best. It'S the thinnest, it's the softest and it's literally invisible. Now we can get into this unit and see how invisible it is a lie it. So you guys, I did absolutely nothing to this unit. This is literally what it looks like a fresh out of the box. It came plucked, it came bleached and everything so hard. Even though one the brokest brokers are watching, I saw your arms around somebody. Never thought it'd be so hard, even though no one, the bogus bogus apart now, I'm seeing her watch. So you don't really need to powder the lace with this unit, but because you could kind of see the separation from my wig cap in like the forehead lace area, my wig ever kind of slid back a bit, so you can kind of see it. I'M gon na go ahead and fill in those areas and then fill in the part. So here's what the lace looks like close up you guys so don't forget. This is a 4k camera and I am zoomed in quite a bit. So you do kind of see a little bit of the grids on the part where the lace is on top of the wig cap. But if you put a little bit of gel right there and kind of smash it down, that issue really camouflage that part. But yeah, this is what it looks like and that's pretty much it for this video. You guys. I hope you guys enjoyed it if you're not subscribed, go ahead and hit that subscribe button to hit that little notification bell, so you're notified every time I post. I love you guys and I'll see you on my next one. Do you think back on how we party

cieradominque: Hey Bryanna, really loved the comparisons you provided. As a video suggestion, I would really love if you brought other women of different complexions so that we can have a better understanding of how the lace will lay against our skin.

Mike: Omg..... lace technology has gotten so good

Twixie: It's usually videos of people melting their lace & how to do it, but this is cool seeing the different types of lace that are used for the wigs.

Chaquita Davis: First of all sis you are looking absolutely gorgeous with your natural curls. Second, I've seen a few of YouTube influencers with Diva's wigs Kamo knots and it's really seamless, just amazing!!

aurora boreanaz: I’ve had an hd lace wig from evawigs, I ordered about a year ago and still looks good, no tearing at all. But I don’t recommend ordering during the pandemic because companies are out of good lace&hair:( And they send out s#4!t quality wigs, except for the ones above 800-900$

Katie B: Very appreciated video so many companies claim to have the”best” lace ‍♀️. Thank you for simplifying it and showing the difference ❤️

Pam: Everybody's raving about it but the real question is - Is it durable? How long does it last? Thanks for this :)

Natnice: HD lace will melt into your skin..100%..however its not durable..you cant pluck as much and it's super expensive..think about that b4 purchasing

Faith Waters: You did an excellent job explaining the difference. Thank you!

lalarochelle: This was a great video thank you for teaching us about the differences.

Forrest Whittaker’s Eye: This video is soooooo helpful! I’ve been Looking all day for why my lace looks so thick. It’s because it’s French. Thanks boo!!!

MsShannaK: Perfect video from start to finish! Thank you for making this. You are gorgeous.

Delilah Terry: This is one of those moments you stop and ask yourself “what’s the catch?” but she never mentions how HD being the obvious best choice it is not durable at all! It is good for 1-3 wears if that. The wig she just put on was beautiful but that ish came off and fell apart after a couple wears (again if it lasted a couple wears) if u want a long lasting wig HD is not it.

Jasmine Jones: Great information.. simple & straight to the point , like how tutorials suppose to be .

Monique A.: Thank you for explaining this and I'm loving your natural

Myrna J: #LovelyBrySquad!!‍♀️ Love it Gorgeous. That intro was . Love the how Detailed this was for a Beginner like me. Thank's for this. ✔

Roniece Wright: Best lace pro and con video yet. Straight to the point and very detailed

MissLacole Baby: For longevity I def would do Swiss and the hd is nice I just don’t want to pay $200 for one or 3 use. I need something for 6-12 months

Charisse J: Come throughhhhhh 4K!!!!! I love how you really got upclose and personal so we could actually see what to expect!!

ShaiNaiStov: Thank you so much for this video. I plan on making my own full lace wig. Got the cap off of Amazon and bought some beautiful HD lace but don't want to use it cause I glue mines down Definitely going to go for the swiss lace on the perimeter.

Marji Ducheine: This was a great comparison video. I’m loving this. And this looks on you

Pure Estrogen: It looks by far much better than the other samples.

Gille87: I prefer hard lace‍♀️ With soft lace is either hit or miss for me. Especially the color of the lace. Either too dark or too light With hard lace it blended in with my skin tone, and didn’t need to glue anything down as it was tight enough around the hairline to stay on. I also used bobby pins if needed.

7 violett: Omg, I can’t even look this stunning on my best days, you’re so gorgeous!

Quevine Yao: Thank youuuu girlll! Know I understand why my laces are not easily blended in my skin. Again thank you

melissadowell1798: THIS WAS SO HELPFUL THANK YOU!!!!

Lisa Dawson: Wow class 101 u are very detailed in ur explanation and step by step directions were right on point thank u for taking the time to post this video very very helpful

PhoenixXx: I keep watching all your videos because they don’t have crazy filters on them to camouflage how the lace would look in real life. I appreciate it.

elisa leary: Wow, this wig looks fabulous! Such a huge variety now with lace, can be a bit overwhelming. Does the HD lace look the same with darker skin tones?

Jess Johnson: Ugh can I have this this wig is so pretty on you , you always do an amazing job on your wigs ❤️

Mrs. L.: Oh wow, thanks for the awesome information. Just spent $234 on a wig from AliExpress and its suppose to be the HD and a little darker lace. However, it looks ashy against the back of my hand and noticeable. Never again. Ladies watch out for these wig companies

Corey Chatman: Love your outfit and your hair. Thanks for sharing this girl.

Introverted Triangle: Thank you for this, it was so informative!

Alisha Murdock: Very nice outcome. Your natural hair is gorgeous, too.

D Daniel: Great comparison, thank you for it and nice unit!

Dawn Bell: I've never ventilated with this lace before,I usually use a very high quality swiss lace,it blends very well, personally I would never ventilate with this material, not because it isn't beautiful but it seems very difficult to work with, and probably would take at least a month to complete,I'm wondering who is making these hd lace wigs,so cheaply.I hope it's not some type of forced labor,or illegal child labor,I'm hearing people complain about this wig costing 250.00,hair knotters in the united States make 75.00 to 100.00 dollars a hour, overseas it's dirt cheap, from forced labor that was proven during a recent hair seizure, common sense should tell black people that something isn't right about the lace shortage and who in the hell would hand knot 100,000 tiny holes, with a needle, taking weeks or months to complete, even six hundred or 1000 dollars isn't enough, this is unethical.

Miss Banks: Out of all the videos i watched . I love you’re breakdown and demonstration . I’m a darker skin tone but this still help me understand the concept and difference.

Debra Turner: Thank you for this video. Thanks for explaining the difference between the laces.

The Adhd Gardener: Now thats a visual comparison that everyone needs to see. Good job

Chisty A: Thanks for the informative video! It was really helpful. Would you tell us which companies use the fake HD lace? Does Motown Tress use real HD lace or fake HD lace?

nicole rissy: Omg this wig is gorgeous !!

Topaz P.: Thanks for the knowledge on the lace, now I want nothing but the HD ❤️

Zari Fleming: I’m over here squinting to see the HD lace. You just gain a new subscriber based on this video right here. Great job!

Kadaay: Been taking a break on wearing wigs.. I’m convinced on trying some Hd lace now

BeautybyMattie: . Yes very informative Bryana. Thank you for sharing this great video. Blessings!

Msmi Beauty: 7:21 At first i was like "girl ain't nothing on your hand right there" its really invisible

Ashley Nichole: Thank you so much for the heads up! And for the $40.00 off coupon I just ordered my Kayla❣

M. E.: ✨Best information out there. Thank you!

Heyhihello: Just ordered, love that you had a code to save those coins. Hope mine looks as good as yours did doll! Great review!

Nena B.: VERY INFORMATIVE!!! Love the video thanks‼️

Butterscotchchick: This HD lace must be similar to the lace that is used to make those $3,000+ wigs that are used in the theater, and by ladies like Mary J Blige. The lace is almost invisible to the point where it doesn't even have to be cut. The stylists just lay the lace on the skin and it completely disappears under makeup.

Lani Brasi: I been getting lace to dark for my skin and it would look so bad on me Bc the lace was so visible then after getting blonde wigs I realize I need a transparent lace !

Sabrina M: Thanks for this. How do you advise us to check the companies lace before we end up buying a unit? Many ship lace samples with your order if you buy from them but not if you dont.

Janet: Thank you! This was really helpful

Shallando Shallan: Love this video thanks for sharing ❤️❤️

Life with Yanique: This is one of your best videos yet. I watched to the end. Super informative. Can recommend some company that have the best HD lace? Great video nonetheless.

C Jones: Amazing video thanks a lot !thanks for the info and demo

V Jones: OMG!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO THIS 4EVER!!!! THANKS!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

NYCcarelessly: This is a wonderful video. I just placed my order with your coupon. Thank you.

mignalism: Thanks for the code Amazing review!

spoiledsandi: I don’t know what I’m doing wrong I bought this lacefront wig and I’m the same skin color as you but the lace is still to dark for me even after I bleached it.

awesomeaf1: Where’s your top from? Wow! I never knew about the different types of lace the HD looks amazing no more having to bleach the knots

Lesa Forbes: Very informative, thank you oooh lovely one. You're adorable!

JayyKayyTv: this was so helpful!!

Reina B: Great and informative video

tahrina hope: This brand looks very good but freaking expensive

LAKETA KEATON: Yyyaaasss.. Forget the makeup color swatches on the inside of your wrist... Give me that lace swatches!!! Been waiting on a video.... THANK YOU LOVELYB! I'm watching this video 1,000 times

Danz Dow: How many uses do you get out of the invisible lace

Brit Dewb: The lace regular Swiss lace a few years ago was so much better than the average Swiss lace now...I think it's alot of fakes out now

maiartisbeauty: Wow thank you for this video. You’re a life saverrr!

Hope Nation: Great just great now I gotta go buy another wig

Gina Dickerson: Can you slay the edges on this lace without using glue?

She So Golden: Thank you for sharing now I know what to look for god bless you

K Possible: I ordered the same wig because I wanted to dye it about a month ago and still never received anything. I finally sent a message and said that I will have PayPal dispute it and they responded back and apologized. They claimed there's a delay because everyone wants the HD lace and it will be sent last Friday. I still don't have anything. No tracking number or anything. They had no problem taking my money out the account as soon as I ordered it. It's saddens me because I watch your videos, but I guess just because you advertise it doesn't make it a good wig. I'm very disappointed. #DivaWigs

Black Gold Life: I purchased and the lace was nice but DivasWigs over bleached my knots. The whole hair line is Bronze Orange, now I have to spend my time dying the roots back black.

Stella Metcalf: Love this nail color

lalarochelle: I would to see how you properly remove your HD Swiss lace

Annie Finley: please do an affordable wig video

Jaileen Deleon: Yooo I ordered a wig on this website and it was horrible . It was sooo thin so I returned it. The wig was 215$ and I had to pay for return shipping!!! it’s been three weeks and they HAVE NOT returned my money yet I’m soooo upset I will never order from here again

Nathalie Bordin: Thank you for this video with this wig we can do a bun or a ponytail

Insert Name Here: Thank u for this informative video

Kevniqa Jankel: i couldn’t even detect the hd lace when she placed it on her arm! Amazing video

Finesse Goddess: I purchased this wig and it DID NOT look anything like this wig no bleached knots and pre plucked hairline!x

Labellaunique: Awesome video, very informative. Thanks

VMD Designs: Just got this wig in the mail today. Looks nothing like this! The knots aren’t even bleached. I bought 18” 150% density and paid $400. For that I shouldn’t have to go now and bleach the knots. Beware!!!

Victoria Ross: This should be the standard in terms of lace

Krisia Williams: THANK YOU for this video sis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Freya'sHairby Bell: Hi, Swiss lace which is also called the transparent lace, it is not for darker skin toned women, what i want to know is does the transparent lace n the swiss HD lace come in darker shades for darker women?

Leah Es Linny: Wow I didn’t know there were diff types of lace

Rhonda Seward: Thanks for the informed, comparison....I try and I try...but no matter what hair or lace you use....you melt it...one day....looks great! Now let me look at your video for laying my part again for the 100th time to see if I can wear my wig out tomorrow. Lol!

Eunice N: She laid it reaaly well, but I can clearly see the lace.

Karla Chavarria: How long did your wig get home?

Candace Alexander: Sis you bodied that!! Yasss!

Shatanie Smith: Very informative thank you

Heather B: Gorgeous

mera Kay: Is it ok to use a elastic band with hd lace? Will it rip? Also what is the fake hd lace called and is it more durable?

Getting Life In With Cinnamon!: Thanks for doing this test.

Mikaela V: Thank you! I legit will only by HD Lace till the next beat thing comes out! Sadly most places only Carry 1/1B or natural! I hate bleaching and I always need a #4 or #3 colour! I’m biracial and 1/1b black wigs look fake cause my eyebrows are light brown

Janiya: Very pretty

avinia kennedy: Thank you!!
