natural hair grwm #beginnerfriendly #lacewig #bobwig fake scalp wig mini twist

Hey guys welcome to my channel or welcome back to my channel today. This video is pretty much gon na be for all of my newbies, all of my beginner wig wears or those who really want to start wearing them, but don't even know where to start as far as even what to gather what products to use all that stuff. I am here to help you, I'm just making this video to tell you guys what I use, why I like to use them and all that great stuff. So if you are interested, if you're ready to start wearing wigs, build your wig kit, yeah build your weekend, then this video is definitely for you. So before we get started, I'm just gon na tell you guys exactly what I am wearing today. I always get tons of questions comments. Y'All want to know everything whenever I'm wearing a short style, something with bangs a bob. You know a very easy style, so this wig is from Coletti here I'll about all the information about this week down below in the description box, but I'm wearing their 13 by 4 bob wig. I do have it in 180 percent density. It did not come like this, you guys, I have a whole video on how I styled it mainly focusing on your bang area, because I know that can be a little tough as far as how to get them styled what to do so. I cover that all in the video. I show you just step by step on what I do to make. You know the banks look a little bit better than how they come out of the box. This wig is 12 inches. I didn't cut it or anything like that, you'll see in the video, but I they just kind of Flatiron it. I didn't really have to do much to it. You guys I didn't have any issues with this wig, no tangles of shedding any of that. So if you are interested in a check below, I will put the link down below in the description box of this hair and this week is affordable. You guys it is under $ 100, so make sure you check out the link below let's go ahead and get right into this video, so my list is pretty long. I'M not gon na go too much in depth on everything. I'M just kind of giving you a rundown because I think most of it is pretty self-explanatory, starting off with washing the wig. When you first receive the wig, you want to wash your wigs. As far as what I use to wash my wigs, I love using the Aussie moist, the Aussie moist and poo and Ozzy moist conditioner. They even love the Aussie 3 minute miracle. When I want to do more of a deep condition, I also always use the Herbal Essences, hello, hydration, anything that's more hydrating I gravitate towards when it comes to washing my wigs and that's how I maintain them, then I also go for Tresemme as well. I don't do anything expensive. I think those three companies for me have worked out very well. So next you may want to bleach your not as far as bleaching your knots go. They make the world of a difference and make your wig look even more natural, because it gives you the illusion that it's growing out of your scalp. So as far as the bleach, if I like to use, I like the L'Oreal quick blue over, like I think it's like the b/w powder, or something like that. I can't remember, but I prefer the L'Oreal quick blue bleaching powder simply because of these sins. I typically I'm doing my wigs and all that kind of stuff here in my apartment, it's not a big apartment either, and I do have a four year old son and the scent is very bearable. It doesn't like make me a choke. It doesn't make me gag or anything like that, it's not too strong and it works. It works for me. I also pair it with a 20 or 30 volume developer. You can't go 40, but I personally wouldn't recommend it, especially if you are a newbie. I would not do 40 at all, I would stick to. Maybe 30 is pretty good, 20 or 30. You have to have a developer with your bleach because they go they go together. Pretty much it just goes in strains. 40 is very high. So I like to stick to 20 or 30, because I'm still not the best at bleaching, my wigs and getting the right consistency, kind of fluctuates. Sometimes. So I like to stick to 20 or 30. I may have to leave it on a little bit longer versus the 40 but 40 to me. Issues I'm good with 14. Oh thank you, and as far as the brand that I use typically go for the salon care brand, that's pretty much! The only brand that I've ever used you'll also need neutralizing shampoo in purple shampoo, just in case you have any brassiness and when you are just washing out the bleach, you also need, of course, your gloves and your mixing bowl to make Yorkin your bleach concoction dry. Your wigs, however, you want to I'm just gon na say I always 99.9 % of the time. I let my waste air dry. It just increases the longevity of them, the less heat you're putting on your waist the longer they are going to live all right guys. So, let's get into hair tools; first we're gon na start off with Clips any kind of clips. I personally prefer the butterfly Clips versus like any other ones. They just last longer to me they're more comfortable and they help hold the hair really in any position that I'm that I need it to like stay in. The next thing is going to be a rat tail comb. I use my rat tail comb whenever I'm applying my wig, so I'm not really using my fingers as much and my other two things are gon na, be a paddle brush and a boar bristle brush the boar bristle brush that I use is just from Sally's or, Like your local Beauty Supply story, I use the brush. That is double sided. It'S typically like hard on one side and then soft on the other. I use that brush it's cheap, it's inexpensive. I can find it anywhere and if I lose it or whatever the case may be, I can just always go get another one. So I love that brush and having it on deck. To really smooth out my hair, you will definitely need a paddle brush just to detangle, to comb out the hair, to get shedded hair out to get loose hair out. Anything like that. You will need to have yourself. Some type of you know Dimond paddle brush. It doesn't have to be extensive. You guysyou gon na set a dollar store and get you a paddle brush. If you want to, I just use my Denman brush, because I have three of them, so I just use whatever I have on deck. I really love the black one that I initially bought for my natural hair, but it's much it's way too rough for it, and so I just use my black Denman brush for my wigs, it's on the expensive side, but that's a really really great brush to have And I know it's gon na last me alright y'all. So next we're going to talk about how we're going to apply the wig like we needed some state on our head. So the first thing is gon na be some type of adhesive. I would never work with any kind of ghost bond glue or anything like that, I'm kind of afraid to be honest with you that and I've also never worked with it, because I take my wigs off every single night and to me if I were using ghost Bond glue or something more of a stronger hold, then I would be wearing my wigs for as long as I possibly could. So that's the reason why I don't use ghost bond glue. I'Ve only used the got ta be line, so I used two got to be free spray and then I've used both the black and the yellow got to be glue gels. I will tell you that I definitely prefer they got to be free spray over using the gels, because it's fast, it's just a faster application. Y'All the cleanup is a lot easier and I don't get any type of like white residue. I don't have to worry about anything like that using just a free spray buy it. So when I first started, I used a black gel only. I personally wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're a beginner. You really don't need to use the gel and it's gon na. Take a lot longer for you to apply your wig, but of course that is definitely an option for you. Another really good combo that I use for a very long time before I just went to free spray only. What is he using? The yellow got to be glued gel like a thin layer of that, and then I would spray a thin layer of the got to be glued free spray. On top of that, that really worked out for me very well. I didn't really get all that residue. The hope was really nice and yeah. It did take a little bit longer as far as applying my wig versus just using the hairspray by itself, but it's also another great option for youth. The whole Legaspi line is great. You guys you can go days with just wearing either or like the glue or the spray by itself it's gon na hold for you, I'm just saying it's just not gon na hold, probably as long as like co-spon would that's all I'm saying if you don't want To use any type of adhesive like around the perimeter of your head, you could always go with an elastic, strap, so some wigs, I already come with an elastic band. It just depends on what company you are buying from that is detachable and has like hook. Phone is like a bra, strap put some weights do some wigs do not, or they will just give you like a plain elastic, strap where you'll have to actually sew it on. So really just a pin on your wig if it's coming with one or if it's not so first things. First, is what I think everyone everyone needs. If you have a wig or two you need. This, I know is a hot comb. You guys the one that I've had I've had for quite a while. Now, maybe three years, I've had this hot comb and I like it, it doesn't job for me. It gets pretty dang hot I've, definitely burned myself with it a few times and it's very inexpensive. I think the hot comb that I had is like twenty dollars, so yeah you'll definitely need a hot comb. It makes the world of a difference as far as your flat irons go and your curling irons go. That'S totally up to you. I'M sure you have one at home right now that will do the trick. I do like my baby bliss, that's the one. That'S double-sided! I actually have two flat irons from baby bliss, one issues, my regular one, inch flat iron that I've had for like three years now and then the other is a flat iron. I'Ve got maybe five months ago. That'S double sided, so I can flat iron with it and I can curl with it it's kind of like a two-in-one and it's really great for traveling. Whenever we get to travel whenever we get to go somewhere and also you know, I just love baby bliss, because I for one know that they're gon na last me they're great products I kind of stick to. If I have to pay a little bit more than I will for something that I know is gon na last a little bit longer than buying something over and over them, I'm all for it. So I don't know why I didn't say this first, but you will definitely need a blow dryer now I love the blow dryer that I have so it gives me a low medium high as far as how you know the intensity that I want the air to Come out and then it gives me a little medium high as far as the coolness to the heat. So it gives me a cool medium and then it gives me high heat as well, when you get comfortable with plucking your hair line and really wanting to start making it a little bit more natural you'll need sharp tweezers. So not the dull ones, you'll need them. A really really good pair of tweezers, so that when you're pulling the hair out you're pulling like single hairs and it's not taking you all day to just grab one piece of hair because I've been there with cheap tweezers. And that is not the way to go. Another thing you'll need are some scissors, so some type of sheers you know to cut your lace or a razor depending on how you know how bold you are. Scissors are gon na always give you more of a blunt cut and you're gon na see, like that. Blunt lace and the razor is just gon na like jack it up a little bit and so to me a razor just makes it a little bit more natural. As far as laying your lace but like on this wig, I use scissors you guys. It really just depends on how I feel and then another item. I think that would be really great in your stash are thinning shears. I don't really hear many people talk about thinning shears, you can get a pair of you know, inexpensive ones off of Amazon like I did, and they have come in handy so many times you guys, especially when I'm doing like bangs or fringe, or you know something Like that, I highly recommend just having some thinning shears in your wig kit in your stash and your you know, wherever you keep your stuff because they will come in handy and you will I promise you, you will need them one time or another. So last, let's talk about hair products. We all love some air products. I know I do first things. First is a wax. Stick: yah eggs me all the time about wax sticks and cannot recommend using a waxing enough like it just makes life so much easier. Just you could use it for flyaways. You can use it in between the hair, along with your hot combs, who really flatten out the top to make it a little bit more natural and it doesn't leave a lot of residue. That'S the thing as well: it's a really awesome product for your wig, you guys and they're inexpensive. I use the cure care one. I think I got it off of Amazon for like eight or nine dollars, it's a big big waxing. So yeah. I highly recommend a wax stick y'all. My second product is gon na, be, I think you guys know what I'm gon na say, but I love my design essentials. Like foaming lotion, foaming mousse foaming, wrap lotion. I keep forgetting the wrap in there. So wrap lotion is a must for me. I love using wrap lotion. It makes my installs more natural flatter. I use the design essentials. I'Ve used the argan oil from creamy nature, one I've used the blue lotta body, one I've used. I'Ve used a lot so 200 products. He protected, of course, because you're gon na be applying heat to your hair and then, of course, of some type of curl enhancer. Actually, don't have one with me at the moment, but I just ordered the lotta body crawl spray. Enhancer one just for my curls to give them some shine, some Sheen, I would say you know you could always use like eco, styler, gel and of course, oh, my god, you guys, I forgot to mention a spray bottle. You guys see me using my white water bottle all the time. I think I've been through like three of these water bottles already, because Isaiah just keeps taking them and playing with them, and then I lose them. They are the misting like the continuous spray, water bottles. You'Ll need one of those too so for my last section here, just a few items that they are optional. Of course, everything is optional, but they're also gon na be very useful for you, and the first thing I want to mention is a wig head in a wig stand. If you are getting into wearing wigs, I highly highly recommend just investing. First in just a cannabis head, canvas blockhead, you can always set it in your lap. If you don't need the wig stand or anything like that. But getting us stand with. It makes a world of a difference as well, because you're able to really just style the hair do whatever you need to do on a mannequin head without it being on your own. When I used to do it that way, it just made my wigs come out. So much better, I can actually see the layers, I could actually see the wig and how its styled a little bit better. So the next thing I highly recommend is gon na be lace. Tint, you don't need lace tips. You could just use makeup, but it's really great to have. I will put it right here or down below the lace tip that I have used. You will definitely need to make sure your lace is the right color and make sure it's matching. You so get a really great natural look. Another thing I want to point out that it's also optional but good to have on deck is gon na, be alcohol. Alcohol cleans up all the residue really really well, I'm not the biggest fan using alcohol, especially around my hairline, and I know what things mean, how they are right. Now: good luck, finding some, but if you can, I would highly recommend getting some. If you cannot, I used to just use a baby, wipe you guys and to me that work just as well alcohol, just kind of speeds up the process, and I only use alcohol now when I have like really went ham and crazy and I'm ready to weigh Too much got to the glue because I don't lost my mind and it's just running down my face and all that kind of stuff. The last thing you want is to put your makeup on and you forgot to clean up all around your hairline girl girl. You don't want that and yeah you guys. I think, that's it. I think we finally made it to the end. So I hope this video wasn't too long, but I hope it was helpful. I think it's been a long time coming, especially for me just putting everything that I use as far as my wigs go into one video so that it's in one place, you guys know exactly what I use. This is everything that I use at this moment. Right now so yeah, so everything that I talked about will be linked below in the description box. You guys, I will also put a tab in my on store that says: wig kit supply so that you guys can go straight to it as well. Thank you guys. So so much for watching, if you guys have any questions comments, you know the drill anything like that. Please put them down below. I will talk to you. My next video bye,
