Hi guys welcome to my channel, i'm you know drea and we're back with another video, as you can tell by the title of this video i'll, be showing you guys how i installed this pretty wig um in the video i'll, be just telling you guys everything i'm Using products you know just my tips and tricks on how i install my wigs. This is by all means not saying this is how you install the weight. This is just how i install my wig. So do okay, y'all, let's get into this install! So, first i'm going to start with taking my little right tail comb just combing, my hairline back like so i don't slip my hair down only because my hair is really short, so i really don't see a need to um the wig lay flat for qualities. You know what i'm saying now, i'm going to take my alcohol. Let'S go around. I go over top of that with my witch hazel. So now that that's right up, i'm gon na take my way camp. That'S my head pulling this as tight as i can get it. Okay. Now that i have my wig kept going, i'm just go ahead! Okay, now i'm taking my guts today, i'm gon na spray it across my hairline and use my blow dryer on a closed setting. I just take my finger just to basically control. You know where the spray goes, so i'm taking the cold center. It'S taking back the comb, i'm just pushing down, put it through the ears so that it's flattened out - and i do this about twice twice just so that i feel like i just get an extra extra hold really and for the second time i make sure that I focus more on the sides right here because you know this is the most lifted part because it's not laying as flat as the front because it's you know it's the ear tab. So there's just a lot of space right here. So i'm just going back and pay more attention to this these two spots and then come back okay. Now that it's dry we're going to take your foundation or powder of choice, it doesn't really. It really doesn't matter which one you use. I tend to use this 3d contour artist cream. I definitely got this from the hair store and you can't see that, but it's by kiss, so i usually use this one get the cream. You know around that, like it. Okay, so now that we're at this point and finally cut the lace, my hairline is clearly right there. So i'm gon na just bring this back just a little bit just still trimming. I would say, make sure that it looks even to you looks pretty even to me, and i usually just tuck this little piece in. I want to take the wig, and this is for me, i would say the heart, but was the hard part to get down just the cutting in like the measuring of how i want the hair to lay, because not the hair delay, how i want to cut My lace, it just very confusing so first, i'm gon na adjust the straps first. I usually like my straps just to attach like this, and it's tight enough for me and it feels secure or i like to take this strap on the right and hook it to this one and then take the left one and then take it and then hook It to the far right so then that's like a crisscross, and this is just a little too tight, so actually like that way, but we're gon na loosen it up one more time, i'm just gon na put on this one, and this should be the winner yep. Okay, so since we have the wig on right now, we're going to measure and mark where we're going to cut the lace, we're going to take the wig off and then we're going to cut the lace when you cut the lace first, you want to put the Wig on your hair, clearly, that's what we are right now! You just want to look at how your hairline is. Basically everybody's hairline's different. So i really can't do that for you, so i'm just going based off of my hairline and when cutting off the lace. I don't i don't really do anything special. I just make sure that it's not a straight blank cut. I just find that it's easier to cut the lace off my head rather than on my head and then i can make any further adjustments after just go in with the motion, i'm placing a wig on what might be the last time and just seeing how it Looks when i hit okay, and so now that we have the wig on you can see what else of the wig cap you can trim off, and i usually leave a little extra on this side. I don't know why. I guess it's just a force to have it. Okay, so now we're here: let's get ready to play. Okay! So now we're going to take some alcohol and go around the brim of the wig cap taking a q-tip because you can get as close as possible without trying to without soaking the wicket. So now over there. When i put the weight back on, i'm not putting one all the way, i'm just going to put it basically in position placing clips around the hairline so that you don't get any. You know fly away hairs in the glue when it's time to apply because that's going to set you up for a messy application. If you want this thing to look as natural as possible, taking a clean finger, i don't use um. What is it like? Popsicle sticks. Anything like that only because i just feel like with my finger you can like with your finger. You can feel everything, so you can feel like if something is too wet, if you didn't put enough or if you put too much and you can really feel like if the glue is even or not - and i feel like it dries just a little bit faster For the faster, faster and more even okay, so we'll go again from the hairline. I usually do this about two to three times. It just depends on like how long you plan to have this wig on is foreign. So now that we have the wig on apply to the glue we're going to take the hair dryer on the warm setting and just set just now, they were at this point where i've already blow dried, um, the lace and the lace glue. I'M gon na apply this band to um the edges of it and i'm gon na do my makeup and then we're gon na come back and then we're gon na finish stalling this wig. So, okay, so guys, i'm back ready to start this week. After doing that, i don't know i always just go out with a little bit of holder spray, even though i really don't want to, but i just like to keep that makeup in place so that i don't have to keep repeating this stuff every day. I don't have to put you know makeup on every day.
