What Lace ! Best Hd Lace Wig | Beginner Friendly Wig Install

Hey everyone, it's rochelle and welcome back to my channel, so i'm back with another video for you guys so in today's video i'm doing a wig application, video and i've done wig application videos before. However, this one is super easy. I promise and it is a beginner friendly, it's so easy. I literally took this wig out of the box and plopped it on my head, literally okay, fine, i'm kidding, i didn't just take the wig out and put it on my head. I mean i did style her just a little bit, so it can look really good, but i'm gon na show you guys how i apply this wig and this lace on this wig. You guys is hd lace. So this is super fine, hd lace guys get into this lace. Okay, because i think this is the best hd lace that i have ever worn. Okay best, he lays ever worn. I don't know if you guys know this, but hd lace is really really hard to get right now. Um, so is transparent lace. A lot of hair companies are having shortage on hd lace, transparent lace. However, diva wigs reached out to me - and they asked me if i wanted to try out their newest hd lace, which is apparently better than the hd lace that we've been rocking. So i'm going to show you guys what the old hd lace looks like and what this new super fine hd lace i mean you guys - can see it on my head of course guys. I did not bleach the knots. I did not tweeze this wig to make the hairline look better. I literally took it out the box and popped it on my head. I mean i did you guys, will see what i do if you continue to watch this video. So this is what the wig looks like fresh out the box. It'S about 24 inches. I will put all the hair info in the description bar down below and it comes with a paddle brush and this little satin bag and two wig caps. I have my wig cap on and i put some foundation onto my wig cap, so um when i do part the wig. It looks like you know, scalp and you're, not seeing my hair, because my hair is black. So obviously i want when you part the way you get that scalp look. I want my wigs to look like super super perfect, i'm going to do the ball cap method. If you're new to wigs it might seem a little bit um like too much like you. Don'T want to have to do all that just to wear a wig right. You just want to put it on your head and go out the door about your business right, so i'm going to try and make this a very easy for a beginner. Now i don't always do the bald cap method. I only do when i want my wigs to look super flawless super perfect. That'S when i do the ball cap method, so usually under my wigs i always have cornrows and i don't have cornrows right now, because i don't know how to cornrow. I usually get them professionally done when i don't have cornrows. I will just give myself like two big braids slick it down with some gel and slap my wig cap on right now my hair is straightened and it's in a low ponytail and it's slick back so i'm able to put on this wig super easy okay. So this is the old hd lace, so this wig is also from divas wig and the old wigs that they used to carry the knots were a lot larger. So i'm gon na put this on my head. Just so, you guys can see girl, wow, not cute, not cute. Let'S just talk about this wig on my head right now: the lace on this wig. So this is the old hd lace, which the lace is actually pretty good, as you can see like the lace is really nice. It is hd lace and if i were to melt this down, she would look absolutely flawless right now. This wig would need a lot of work, a lot of work so, as you can see, these are knots like these little things that you see right here. These are the knots and i do have videos on how i bleach knots. However, these knots are very, very big, like very big and not natural. Looking at all so, the new wig that i have from diva wig is more um, realistic, more natural and what they've done is they've actually pre-plucked the wigs for you and they actually bleach the knot as well. So i'm gon na try on the new wig because listen this this needs to come off my head right now. So now i'm gon na try on the new wig. So this is the hairline on the new diva wig. As you can see, this wig is a closure, so it's not a full-on frontal. It'S a lot easier to apply. So if you are a beginner and you're not comfortable with wigs just yet, you might want to start off with a closure wig instead of a full-on frontal, because it requires a lot more work. I find frontals can be very, very high maintenance. Just so, you know guys, i'm feeling the lace on this wig like this is going to melt down so good, like it's going to melt down. As for the knots in this wig, they are a lot finer. I will say that now the perfectionist in me would definitely bleach the knots i would still bleach them, because if you look really really closely, you can still see like tiny little knots, but you can get away with not bleaching the knots though, but because i'm such A perfectionist when it comes to wear my wigs, i would bleach them, but for this video i'm not going to do that because again, i want to keep this very, very beginner friendly, very easy for you, guys at home, okay. So what i love about this wig is the lace, the lace. Oh, my gosh. This is going to melt down so good and the hairline it looks really good. It doesn't really need much tweezing it i mean i could wear it like this. I don't have to tweeze it if i don't want to okay, so i'm going to put the wig on now, so i'm going to use the skin protect by boldhold, and i apply this to my skin just to protect my skin from the lace glue. Then i'm going to go in with a scissors and cut the lace in the middle, not completely cut it off. It just makes it a lot easier for me to apply the glue. So i'm going to go in with the bold hole, lace, glue and apply a thin layer and go in with my rat tail comb and just spread that out once the glue is dry, then i go ahead and add another layer. So i use two layers of glue you don't have to if you don't want to, but i feel like it just lasts longer. Now, if you don't feel comfortable with glue, you can always use the got to be free spray which is going to work just as well. It'S just that the glue will last a little longer. So i'm going to go in with my rat tail comb and have my blow dryer on a cool setting and just melt that lace in once. The lace is melted in i go in with my scissors and i'm just cutting off all that excess lace that we don't need and guys are you seeing this lace? What lace haven't seen her? She does not even exist right now now keep in mind, because this is a closure and not a frontal or a full lace. Wig, you can wear this completely glueless, i mean you can wear frontals clueless as well. However, with this closure, you are definitely able to wear this glueless. All you have to do is put another elastic band into the wig, and the wig will lay super super flat. So you do the elastic band method and just put it on your head and go about your business. However, i do think it looks better. It looks a little bit more realistic this way. So if you're not comfortable with glue like i said, you can definitely use something like the got to be a freeze spray to apply your wig and you don't have to ever do this step again. Once you cut the lace off, the lace is gone forever. You don't need to do this step again, so all you really need to do is put your wig on glue it on and you're done. This is the easiest and fastest wig application. I'Ve ever done and guys look at that lace like it looks so good. So i'm gon na go in with my hot comb, because sis this wig is sitting a little high and we got ta flatten her down, so you can wear it in a middle part or a side part it's up to you, i'm just going to put it In a side part for now i'll, probably rock it in a middle part, some other day, but right now i just want to do a side part, and you can see my wig cap. You can see it like it's just saying: hey look at me, but don't worry. I'M gon na fix that so i'm gon na go in with some hair foam, some mousse just to flatten this hair down, and this is what i always use. I always use a little bit of hair foam it just styles, the hair really good and flatten it down, and i'm gon na go in with the brush and then go back in with my hot comb. So the hot comb i'm using is from andis it's my favorite. I have all the hair products that i use in my description box down below. I also have a amazon store that you guys can check out. So i'm gon na go in with my tweezer and i'm just going to tweeze just a little bit of that part just a little, and then i'm going to go in with some foundation powder just to make that part look a little bit more realistic and also Blend it in with my wig cap, so that's how i hide the wig cap. I just put some foundation powder onto it and you don't have to do any baby hairs whatsoever with this wig. However, i can see the band of the wig because, like i said it's not a full on frontal, it doesn't have full lace at the side, so i'm gon na have to create little tiny baby hairs at the side just to cover the wig band. So it's not visible, so i'm doing the same thing on the other side as well. I'M gon na cut some baby hairs and use my edge brush and my mousse and just create that little swoop and that's it. I don't want to have any baby hairs in the front whatsoever, because that hairline is looking really good. You guys, and i did not curl this hair. This is exactly how the hair came. I didn't want to curl it just because i want you guys to see how it looks you know straight out of the box, but yeah this is it. I really hope this video was helpful to you guys.
