Hey guys, i am back for another hair wig review and i haven't made a video in such a long time, and it makes me really sad that it was such a long time, but i just kind of wanted to briefly. Let you know if you don't follow me on instagram in the last six ish months, i would say six actually eight months um i well last summer i moved to west texas and then i'm a teacher, and you know we had online school virtual school. Then it was hybrid school and then all my students were back in october and shortly after that in november i got really sick down there in some feminine regions. I was having a lot of pain, thought it was part of the pcos with some ovarian cysts and i did have some cysts, but i actually had some tumors sitting on my ovaries that were growing very rapidly. So i had to have those removed quite suddenly and then right when i was having surgery, i did get covered, and so i had a really hard time with just dealing with the surgery and recovering from covid and then a lot of other things have happened. I, throughout that whole thing i was dating someone since last summer and i did get married and i do have a baby on the way right now. I am a little over halfway done, so i'm really excited about that, but um. It'S definitely been a challenge because, january february, march and april i was just really sick, throwing up all the time stomach issues, constant fatigue, while also still recovering from surgery and cobit, so that combined with pregnancy was just a lot to deal with, and so i really Wasn'T online that much i was still wearing hair, but i wasn't making videos or doing anything since i couldn't really focus on anything but my health. So i think it's really important when you are in moments like that, that you just take the time and focus on your health. But now i'm back and i'm really excited because one of my favorite companies that i've used for toppers really since i first started experiencing hair loss. I believe started to venture into wigs within the last six to eight months and i just got my first one that i purchased and i really really like it so far. I love her coloring. I love the style of cap. It is my favorite style of cap and i just like the way that she does hair. So i'm really excited to show you and i just kind of wanted to give you an update on my hair. So, since the end of last summer, i was officially kind of diagnosed with pcos or polycystic ovarian syndrome, and i definitely uh it was not as bad as it was three years ago. I have had regrowth um and definitely a little bit of some fuller hair. Although the texture of it still doesn't feel like mine, like it always did growing up and i'm also pregnant right now, so i feel like that - has made my hair a little bit healthier. So it's a little bit more healthy. So i don't know if that's because of the prenatal, vitamins and all the stuff going on with my body but i'll have to see what happens after i have the baby, because i know a lot of women experience, some hair loss and so we'll see if that Triggers that as well - but all i know is that i have a ton of wigs to help me out. If that does happen, so um here's, the wig right here she is so gorgeous. I'M gon na go ahead and put my hair in this little ponytail. First, so every time i wear a wig, i usually do the same thing and i'll put my hair in a really really low ponytail. Usually i have a bobby pin. So if i leave the hair out i'll bobby, pin it up, i'm just going to put it in a tiny bun today and then i flip the hair up. So here is the wig right here i haven't cut the lace. I haven't done anything to it, but this is from highline wigs and if you know, sharon from highline wigs. She is really well known for her toppers and has been for quite some time and she does phenomenal phenomenal work and i'm so glad she finally ventured into wigs, because i really really love this piece and going into purchasing this piece. I already knew that i really liked a lace top wefted back wig with little ear clips on the side. It'S just my preferred cap, and you know it took me a couple years to kind of figure that out, but it is just my favorite cap so before i even put it on i'm going to show you so here's the lace top lace cap. It is bleached lightly bleached, which means you won't see, really the knots where the hair has been placed there. So that's really nice, it's not over bleached. You know to where it ruins the integrity of the lace, but it is bleached just enough to where it looks realistic. So and then you have back here all the wefting. You have two clips right here, which i always use and those are for. Don'T pay attention to my nail, those are, for you know, securing your hair on the side and then it has adjustable straps at the back um. Usually my other wigs in this style also have a comb here, but if i wanted to put a comb in there, i could just sew one in there. It'S no big deal. I have a bunch of extra, but it's interesting to note that in a lot of these different brands of wigs there's a lot of variations of little things like that, no clips or clips or a comb or a little bit of positioning. But overall, just this type of cap is my favorite, so i'm going to go ahead and put it on. I really really love it. I have the caps the clips closed when i put it on so it doesn't catch any hair. Oh - and this is a size - medium - that's kind of my standard size, and this is, i believe, just a mushroom balayage and it is pre-cut. So the length is kind of all over the place. I'Ll definitely put all the specifics down below to include that for y'all, but let me go ahead and put it on so i always go ahead and grab it from the back and see if i'll turn this way, i grab it from the back. I place the lace on my forehead and again i just pull it back. I tuck my hair under and this one does not need a wig grip or a wig cap, or anything like that. Um, i don't. Typically, i have several different other brands of this particular style of wig and i don't wear a wig grip with any of those wigs. They just stay so i'm going to go ahead and brush her out and uh. She is so gorgeous. Normally, i don't ever wear my hair middle parted because i just look weird, but i actually don't mind it in this particular wig, but it's just a really beautiful piece. I love the length. The density is very very light on this one. It'S super light. It seems like um, i remember, reading she did go ahead and pre-cut this one, so she already has some like shorter pieces right here, some layers, but the color is beautiful. It does have like a dark rooting kind of going to this moussey mushroom balayage and it's really just a pretty color. So what i'm gon na go ahead and do i'm going to cut the lace later off camera? I have showed this other places, but i just wanted to show you what it looked like on before any customizations and i'm going to go ahead and clip the ear tabs in right there and i'm going to go ahead and just kind of bring you in up Close, so you can see what it looks like um. This particular wig is probably the first one i have that looks like it has a built-in widow's peak, which is really nice for those people that want that. But here we go go ahead and kind of show. You so let me go ahead and hide my hair right here and that'll be much easier to do whenever the lace is cut, but it's very gorgeous. That'S what bleached knots looks like it's very realistic lace. If you wanted to put scar tape or something like that, something further under that to conceal that, you definitely could, but it is really gorgeous very much so even just like this. I want you to see that i can just flip my hair back and forth and i don't really have to worry about anything moving, because if your wig should fit snug and that's what i really love about this particular style of cap so yeah. So if i wanted to put my hair up in like a half updo, i could also go in like a low pony. This is a really low light density, wig um, i'm probably going to change the part on it and guys. This is just a side note. I'M sure a lot of y'all already know, but whenever you get a wig it you really have to make it your own and so a lot of times. Women will get wigs right out of the box and they're like the top feels funky or it doesn't feel weird. It feels a little weird or whatever, but typically what you do is you want to spray the roots with water or the part line. However, you want to part it and move it over and change it to kind of make it more you. So that's really essential when you get a wig is to customize it and make it your own, but i really really love this. What i'm going to do is i'm going to go ahead and cut the lace and i'm going to go somewhere else and show you in better lighting what the color looks like and then i can show you all with the lace looks like so you can see How realistic it is for yourself all right guys, so i am back. I ended up cutting the lace. I really really love this wig so far, it's just so lightweight and it's perfect for summer, especially when you live in a place like texas and it's uncontrollably hot and you're pregnant. But i kind of wanted to show you a little bit more of the color again. It has that dark roots kind of fading to this mushroom, balayage type of look, it's really beautiful and the lace itself is really great um. I just want to point out that i don't cut the lace that short at first. I leave always leave a little bit extra and, as i start to wear it and kind of get it molded to my head and once i change the part and do all that i'll tend to kind of tweak it and cut the lace a little bit further. Back and or put some makeup on it or do whatever i want to do to kind of hide it, but i just want to show you what i did so far. So that's probably, where i'll end up cutting some back, but i do have this part of my hair out, which is a perfect match for the roots and, as you can see, there are bleached knots, um they're not bleached, to the point where the knot, the laces, Like see through completely, you know because a lot of times that will ruin the integrity of the lace, but if they're definitely bleached and when the wig is like this, i will go out anywhere immediately and i don't ever worry about anyone looking at my scalp. But this is what the part line looks like again. For me, i won't even put any scar tape or any makeup on it. I just it looks natural i've done this for the last year and a half with lace top wigs and no one has ever commented on anything, and so i really love it but, like i said it has a little bit of a widow's peak right here, which I guess it's really good. If you want a widow's peak um, you have that option. I could cut it off if i wanted to, but i actually don't mind it um. But as you can see right here, what i probably will end up doing is cutting a little bit more and then just putting makeup on it once this is off my head, i'll put it on a block head and i'll kind of just put put some spray Or some eyebrow powder on it to kind of darken that so you can't see the lace right there, but overall i'm really impressed. I love the movement of this wig um. I really really like it. I'M really excited to change the part to just kind of see how it holds up, but it's really soft. It'S really silky and i believe the price of this one was just over a thousand dollars and i know a lot of women may think. Okay, that's a ton of money, and i agree, but because of covet, especially the cost of hair, the price of hair is definitely increasing and to get a piece that is custom colored. With this specific type of cap, a thousand dollars is really just kind of normal. There are wigs synthetic wigs or a different style of cap, wigs that you can get that are less expensive. Those are not my preferred caps. I find this to be the most comfortable cap, so i wish i controlled pricing, but i don't, but that's just the reality of what they cost, but if you definitely want or need a wig that is less expensive, there are those options out there and there are Tons of people on youtube who will review those wigs um, but these are just kind of the ones that i wear. I find the most realistic and that work for me. But if you have any questions you can just put them down below and i'll get to them at some point, but yeah. Thank you for watching.

Once I had the baby, about 2-3 months later, my hair fell out like crazzzzzzzy. I could’ve made a wig with the amount I lost. Anyway, it’s back to the way it was before pregnancy. Unfortunately ☹️

Odre Cha: So helpful! Do you prefer topper or wigs? Im a highline customer as well. I dont have much bio hair so im Curious about wigs. But toppers are so light, so im afraid Ill feel the wig to much. Thanks :)

Katie Sheneman: In regard to price - human hair is my preference and it does get pricey - I checked with my insurance and while it doesn't "cover" wigs it will allow me to use my FSA money to pay for them. Now that's still my money but it's pre-tax and I just have $50 per paycheck taken out and each year I can use the money to purchase a new human hair wig - I usually spend between $1,000 - $1,500 and submit to my FSA for a refund! Everyone's plan is different but might be worth checking out!

baraan76: How do you do the hooks in the back? I am having a heck of a time. I normally wear toppers. I don't want to put stress on the lace front by hooking it before I put it on

Sonam Vishwakarma: sarah just reply to my one question- were u diagnosed with female pattern baldness ever?

Sonam Vishwakarma: sarah just reply to my one question- were u diagnosed with female pattern baldness ever?

Sophia Salinas: Hi I have question I love wearing Wig's but I use glued to stay on is it right thing to do ??

Ter55: I have a question in the beginning when you had hair loss what kind was it ? Or how do you even explain because my hair looks something like yours like the hairs cut short and not growing ? Like they shriveled up. Every time I watch videos of Androgenetic alopecia it’s mostly people with widen parts and I don’t have that, I’m soo lost . I have general thinning and my hair is literally shriveling up .

Sonam Vishwakarma: sarah just reply to my one question- were u diagnosed with female pattern baldness ever??
