Wig Install In 10 Minutes For Beginners | No Bald Cap Or Glue | Layers + Curls | Unice Hair

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel so today i'm going to be working with yuni's hair today and they sent me this 13x4 24 inch. This is like a little highlighted, bang type of wig, and i decided that i wanted to do a side part and some curls on it and it turned out so freaking cute right here, y'all. I am just hot combing, the edges of this wig down. I already bleached the knots on this week and i also put this wig, so all of that is already done. I didn't really have to do too much plucking with this wig. This wig was really good when it came to the pre-plucking that it already had. So if you are a beginner, this is perfect and i'm just hot combing, the wig down to get this wig super flat. Before i install it onto my head - and this is andy's hot comb - i'm going to try to link this hot comb in the description box down below. I got it from walmart. It was only like twenty dollars, and this thing is so hot. It'S so good, and especially for the price you cannot beat twenty dollars for a good quality hot comb. I'Ve tried a different comb before and it just did not work as good as this one, and i'm also using some of that. She is bomb wax stick to get this wig super glad. This is the only wet stick. I'Ve ever tried before, but it works really good and it does - and this was ten dollars at my local beauty supply store. I did want to put some layers in his hair. I feel like curls. Do not look good on hair unless you add some layers, so i'm taking this hair cutting comb. I got this from the beauty supply store as well, and i'm just combing like into like a v shape. So i am doing a side part if you're going to do a middle part, it works the exact same way, but i'm just cutting into a v-shape on both sides. I actually didn't cut off that much, but just a little something to add a little layer effect whenever i put these curls in and then i'm going to take this icy hair polisher with aloe. I love this stuff so much. I use this whenever i out my hair and when i curly as well, and i'm just putting this all over the hair and i'm using this con air one inch curling barrel and i actually wanted to get a 1.25 inch. I believe but y'all. I went to the store yesterday and i got a 1.5 inch on accident, so i was like you know what i'm not going back to the store, so i ended up having to use the one i already had, but the curls still turned out cute. I just want them to be a lot bigger, but it worked out whenever i curl my hair, i'm always curling like away from that side of my face so as y'all can see, i am working on the left side over here and i'm curling like away from The lip side and as i work my way over to the right side, i start to curl in a different direction. So now i'm curling away from my face on that direction so that the hair kind of just i don't know you want the hair to just be away from your face to create that really pretty curl effect. So that's what i'm doing and i just slowed it down a little bit so y'all can see exactly what i'm doing, i'm just putting the curling iron on the hair and pulling it a little bit and then pull it down and i'm also holding the curls so That that heat can make the curl last a lot longer. If you let go of the curl too soon before the curl cools down, the curls are gon na, not last as long. So this is what i'm doing. I hope i explained that good because it's kind of hard to explain what i'm doing you just got ta watch and see so yeah. I'M just doing this all over my head, y'all. I love how those little curl wrinkles look whenever i finish doing it. It looks so pretty and i'm actually not going to comb these curls out until after i install the wig onto my head. So, as of lately y'all, i've just been really like, not feeling the ball caps like do a ball cap for what, if you make these look good even without it, so i'm actually not going to do a ball cap today, i'm just going to be taking a Little bit of makeup on the front of this wig cap to match, with my skin tone, y'all do not do this; instead, just gon na buy you a wig cap. That'S your skin color, like i'm doing the most. I just didn't, have no wig caps, that's brown! Because they don't have it at the beauty supply store, all they have is like these light ones, but i'm definitely gon na order some on amazon so that they measure it with my skin tone. So i can skip this whole step of applying the foundation because girl is so unnecessary, but i'm just kind of fitting the wig to my head making sure it fits and it's in the right place before i start gluing this thing down and then i'm just going To cut a slit into the middle of this lace, because me personally, i like to do one side at a time. You do not have to do that. If you want to, though you can literally just do it all together, but i like everything to be a lot more organized and it just makes it a lot easier for me. So today i'm going to be applying my wig with my olive oil, wig group gel and a popsicle stick, and i'm just applying this on my edges a little bit on my on my hair just a little bit and but mostly it's on my skin and then I blow dry this on a warm setting until it gets kind of sticky, and then i place the lace into the gel. So then i blow dry on a cool setting so that the lace doesn't turn white and i literally just repeat the same step on the other side. This takes me like 10 minutes to install literally y'all, installing my wigs be so easy, like, especially when you don't do a ball cap method, it's just so quick and easy. So i also wanted to mention that this is a swiss lace um. Normally, i would prefer hd lace. I just feel like hd laces are a lot thinner and they just melt easier into your skin tone. These swiss laces are kind of thicker, but they're going to last you a lot longer than the hd lace. One day i'm going to try to make a video and explain a different type of laces, so that y'all can understand like the differences and what works for different skin tones and basically just would work probably better for you so right here. I'M just cutting the lace off with an eyebrow razor and i'm cutting as close to the hairline of the wig as possible. I just put all my hair up so that i can melt this lace. Normally i pull out my baby hairs and then i spray this olive oil super hot fixing spray, but i don't know where my mind was at. I don't know why i didn't do that this time, but if you want to do like a no baby hair look, you can definitely skip the baby hairs and just do the stuff that i just did. But i end up having to go back in and pulling out my baby hairs, because i don't know what i was thinking about. So these are how the curls look. I'M just using this big comb to just comb the curls out y'all. It looks so good. Look how those curls just fall so effortless, so cute y'all, oh my gosh! I love doing curls on wigs. It'S just me looking bomb, so i'm going to get this wig a little bit more flat, so i'm using my she is bomb wax stick and i'm just applying this all over the top. I don't really have to do too much hot comb, because i already did it when it was on the mannequin hair, but i just wanted to do a little bit more so that it conforms with my actual head. So i just pulled off some baby hairs off camera and i'm going to be using my eyebrow razor to cut these baby hairs and i'm cutting at a slanted angle. I don't like my baby hairs to be too thick i'd like them to be like really in the middle, not too thin, but not too thick either and to ladies baby hairs. I used a little bit of that mousse, but that mousse just was not giving. So. I decided to use gel instead, plus the gel just makes the baby hairs last a little bit longer. They do be a little more crunchy when you use gel. The mousse makes your baby hairs a little bit softer, but i just wanted these baby hairs to last. A little bit longer because i plan on wearing this hairstyle for a couple of days and then i'm going to also cut the sideburn baby hairs with the eyebrow razor. And i'm also going to take this pencil flat iron that i got from amazon. And i'm going to curl these baby hairs upward and i'm going to use my olive oil super haul fixing spray to actually lay my sideburns down, and i want that curl at the top to look a little bit better. So i'm just using my curling iron and i'm curling away from my face. If you curl away from your face, the curl is going to be it every time. Girl just always remember curl away from your face, then i'm taking some of my l.a girl pro concealer, and this is in the shade fun as well as a slanted ankle brush and i'm just making this part a lot straighter and then i'm going to take some Foundation, this is maybelline fit me in the shade, coconut and i'm just putting it on this little fluffy brush and i'm applying this to the lace. Remember i said that this isn't a hd lace. Whenever i don't have a hd lace, i always always always put makeup. So that it blends better with my skin okay y'all. So this is the end of the video and for some reason this wig gave me the hardest time and i don't even really necessarily want to say it was the wig. I think it was really just me. I did a funnel in a minute, so i guess i'm a little rusty and it's probably also the lace, because this lace is not hd and i got a loose foil with the hd laces. So i think this is like a swiss lace, but i just i made what to do and it actually turned out pretty cute. I love like the whole color and style of this wig, i'm in love with this little.
