How To: Customize & Style + Flawless Wand Curls | 250% Density 30” 13X6 Lace Wig Ft. Ashimaryhair

If you're thinking about hey everyone, alright, so in today's video i am going to show you all how to achieve these effortless curls and waves in your frontal wig unit, this one came from ashy marie hair. Now i ordered this wig back in december, so i've had this unit sitting in my closet for a long time only because you know with frontal wigs for some odd reason. They just simply do not work with me. They just won't fit, but i just wanted to show you all how the wig came. I ordered a 13x6 body wave 30 inch unit and this unit is 250 density. It is not a full 13x6 frontal wig, but um. It is big enough, like the space is big enough so that you can get a deep side part or a nice bust down in the middle. If you want the hairline is pre-plugged, but of course for me i do like customizing my wig, so i am going to go in and pluck it after. I bleach the knots and everything of that sort. This wig is super full and i highly recommend, if you are in the market, for wigs get 180 density, and up here is how the wig looks after i customized the um hairline i bleached knots and i added an elastic band for that extra security. This is how the hairline is looking as you guys can see. It is plucked detailed, but the hair itself, because i washed it it dried in this pattern, so i am going to curl it. You all should know me by now. The only way i can wear body wave hair is, if i so press it straight or if i curl it. So i'm just pinning my wig on my wig block here and i'm going to go in with my wax stick. You can find these on my website at www.josepatel.com. I am going to use this hot comb just to go ahead and comb this product through the hair, the wax stick and the hot comb combo chef, kiss. Okay, you cannot be a wig enthusiast and not know that the wax stick and the hot comb together makes magic, as you guys can see. That hairline is super popping, i'm very happy with how it came out. So i am pulling out some hair because i will be giving this unit some baby hairs, not too much just enough to just um. You know kind of emphasize the hairline of the unit, so the same thing that i did on this side, i'm going to do on the other just about four pieces of hair and then i'm going to go down the middle. Get you a wrap, a metal in rat tail comb because it really gives you the cleanest parting compared to any other comb. Get you a metal in rat tail comb define your part, get you a wax stick and a hot comb: okay and a wig block head. Okay, these are the supplies you need, especially if you are um you know, starting off in you know, getting um getting wigs making them. These are your essential items, so definitely grab one so to go ahead and create my baby hairs. I'M using this pencil iron that i got off online. I got this a while ago. I forgot where i got it from, but it's a red by kiss pencil flat iron, and this just helps me to curl the baby hairs. I learned this a while ago after watching um arrogant, haze master class, so this is definitely one of those techniques that is going to be like my holy grail like forever now, because it really does help in carving out your baby hair. So that's what i'm doing here pretty much just you know getting the baby hairs together. I like to go in with some spritz. I got this from my sis. Um kenny sweets, the barb here on youtube. She uses spritz, and i noticed that incorporating this helps to keep my hairline clean and intact, especially when i'm shipping orders off i'm using my aphogee mousse, because this mousse right here, let me tell you all about this mousse. This mousse helps lay baby hairs. Okay, if you're doing like a glueless install on a client, my hairstylist out there grab you some athlete moves, because this right here will lay the lace gluelessly and have the baby hairs. Slayed and down like you, won't even need to use like any edge control or gel, or anything like that, um, just if you're going for that fluffy baby hair effect. So i'm i'm using my lace melt band to keep the the baby hairs down. I'M going to get rid of some of that pattern that was left in the wig, so i'm using my my blow drying brush to get rid of some of those um the kinks, the wave pattern - and i am going to use this wand curler. I have it linked in my amazon store down below, if you guys are interested, i like to use the large wand - and i just wrap the hair around like so i spritz it just so that the waves can actually last a lot longer. I'M gon na speed. It up because i'm pretty much repeating the same steps over and over pretty much all throughout the unit. What i like to do is with body wave hair, especially i like to curl it. I love curling body, wave, hair um for some odd reason. I noticed that with some companies that the curls don't really last as long so i typically like to spray some holding spray. So that's why i use the um, the spritz, but that last spray is actually just to soften the um. The you know like with spritz. It gets a little crunchy when it goes onto hair, so the spray, the simply styling spray just adds a little more slip so that it's not as hard or crunchy. I hope that that makes sense. So here we are we're finally finished. You guys are going to see me spritz this curl just to help it last a lot longer. I'M going to go in with my simply styling spray, just to kind of you know, smooth out the um hard harsh, the hardness, the hardness of the spritz, so she's all done. I removed the melt band, and here we have the completed look. I did not want to comb out these curls, you guys. I wanted to leave them intact because when you leave the curls intact, they drop on its own and the look is just flawless like right then, and there but um. I did go ahead and comb out the curls later on in the video i was kind of just trying to show you all the finished. Look. The finished results like look at it, it's so so pretty i'm going to show you guys right here. This is why you want to go for fuller density, wigs and i'm so glad that ashley marie, actually um offers wigs up to 250 density, because these wigs right here they're super full over time hair shed. So if you get a full unit, you won't notice the hair loss or anything of that sort. So i'll leave the link down below to this wig, where you can get it um.
