Hey y'all, so, as you know, today's video is sponsored by domiso's hair. They were nice enough to send me this 4x4 closure wig before we get started with the install. Of course we have to customize. So here i am putting on a glove and i'm about to bleach the knots with bw, 2 and 20 developer in the next clip. You'Ll see that i added five minutes, but i really kept adding five minutes like three times of how long i left the bleach on there, so it really was like 15 minutes in total. Here i am plucking. So plucking, of course, is like the longest part of customization. What you'll see me do is party and plug part plug part plug that's kind of how i do it, i'm just playing with it a little bit um, it's kind of self-explanatory. I can't really like you know, but you can see how i'm like parting it and plucking. Wherever i see it's really thick you'll now see that i am blow drying the hair. I do like to plant the hair while it's wet, because it shows you how thick the hair is and like and what section has the most hair. So you know where to pluck so i do blow dry after i pluck it. I know a lot of people like to play with the part and kind of do their part after they already installed the wig. However, i like to create my part, while the wig is still on the wig head only because they make it so much easier. For me, um, so you'll see that i'm waxing and hot combing. You know this is probably the most tedious part of the wig install because the part is very important but um yeah. I do it before so that way it's easier when it's time to install later so i don't actually cut the lace until you know i'm ready for the installation process, but here you'll see that i'm cutting what i've learned over the course of a couple years that I used to wear closures a lot closers have this big little end piece um at the end of their lace and when you cut it off, it makes the installation look so much more natural and so much more seamless, so you'll see that i'm doing that now, I'M now flat ironing the hair. This ain't really me flat ironing it for real because you'll see even after i'm done it still don't look like really silky um. I am going to go back in and fly ironing again. So don't worry now i am going in with ghost bun glue and what i like to use is a popsicle stick instead of my fingers or the end of a rat silk comb only because it makes it so much easier and it makes the um glue. So much flatter that way. It'S not like chunky underneath the lace so you'll see me add this like two or three times and then i go in and add the lace on there, while the lace is still on there. Like i add the hair over, while the lace is still on there and then i brush it, i don't know how to explain, you'll, see and make sure you add a silk wrap after you're done applying the lace now for this next part, you'll see me, go In and define the part a little bit more, what i like to do is if i notice that i over plucked i'll, take some mascara and i will clean it up and um. When i want to enlighten the part, i would take some of my concealer and clean it up like that. So that's kind of what i do when i probably over plucked or something like that, but yeah, i'm also waxing and using the razors to take off the lace um. I like the razor more than scissors because it just gets to the nearly gritty. But you have to be really careful, because i don't cut myself plenty of times using that after i pull out the edges, you'll see me go back in with the silk wrap and i let that sit for a little bit just so the lace can fit into My skin, just all of that it just come out, really flawless, and then i pluck it so that way, it's not too thick because i hate big edges on a bus down. Little part. Tick tock really put me on this, so basically, what you got to do is flat iron. The edges before you actually lay them now, i'm going back in and i'm actually flat ironing it you'll see me add some gloss. It'S like this gloucester or whatever i'll leave. It in the description, but basically it makes the hair so shiny and pretty and it smells so good. So i like to add that before i flat iron - but you don't want to add too much because you don't want it to come out hard, i really really really wanted to try this layered look. So i'm taking the razor that i used to cut off the lace and basically i'm cutting the hair at an angle. So it comes out as like a layered look, instead of just straight because straight wigs literally just look straight, and you know back in the day, they used to actually layer their hair. A lot like that actually used to be the style, but once people started wearing lace, wigs and stuff, i guess people forgot about it, so i just wanted to try it because you know i never tried it before. Okay guys. So it's been a like a little time afterwards or whatever um. I just went in and kind of straightened the edges, i'm not gon na lie. I'M not a fan of these edges at all. Um they're, most likely gon na get changed tomorrow, but um. I just straightened the hair, i think i did. I did record when i layered it or whatever um so yeah, and then i like put some eyebrows and lashes on, because i have to take thumbnail pictures and then film the intro for this. So i just went ahead and did that while i was waiting, um and then yeah, i just straightened the hair. So i hope you guys enjoyed this little install or whatever i'm trying to get more into like installs and stuff like that, because i love watching those videos, so i'm just like why not um bring it to my channel so yeah um. Thank you again or i don't even think i thank them. Thank you, domiso hair is that what it's called yeah thanks don miso hair for sponsoring this video? Thank you for being kind enough and trusting me to do a review you guys shop. This is very, very, very affordable. Any hair details or anything that you need to know will be in the description um, but this is a 4x4 lace wig and it is a 20 inch straight and i just put some layers in it. I'M actually starting. I actually like the layers way better than no layers like it gives me like a classy grown look like i might actually just put layers on my straight hair, because this is really really cute but yeah. Thank you again, though. Miso hair, like i said all the deeps, will be in the description. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video, don't forget to follow me on instagram at caitlyn. Dianne.
