Hey everybody welcome back to taz's weight, closet at wig studio, one here to educate and inspire your wig journey. Today we're going to take a look at a brand new tressallure style. This one is called charlie in the color chip. Fun candy we're gon na do an unboxing and styling you're gon na see it for the first time right, along with me, coming up based on the manufacturer's photos, i'm expecting charlie to be sort of a just a short sleek polished, uh, maybe angled bob style cut. We'Re gon na find out this wig was set to me by wig studio one for this review today, so we could try it before you make the investment we invite you to shop at wig studio one. If you expand the description box below this video i'll go ahead and attach a link directly to this style at wig studio, one all of the pricing and color options are there: we invite you to shop at wig studio, one. If you have any questions about this style or any other, please reach out to support at wigstudio1.com, we're always ready to help. So let's dig right into charlie by tris lore, so i'll do an unboxing. I will show you the inside of the cap, we'll apply it and i'll give you my observations along the way. You seem to really like this format of reviews, and i am happy to do that. The best thing that i can say is that when i do it like this, when i do reviews like this like right out of the box, where i haven't seen them, i don't get to really thoroughly inspect them uh. Before i give you my observations, but i do promise that if i do go back and during editing or after the video has been wrapped - and i noticed something that i think is important i'll - be sure to let you know on that all right. So let's take a look. This is the tressallure packaging, more of a bakery cake style box, which you know i'm not a fan of those um they're ample uh. That'S about all! I can say so. Let'S go ahead and take a look on the inside. Maybe we're a little upside down here, cardboard, deforms, it's well protected and it looks like they're attaching a little uh nylon wig liner there, which is always a nice touch. I think hairdo does that as well. Okay, inside of the box, a little pamphlet there about wig care instructions. So i'm going to set the box aside, removing the net wow those fibers just feel so soft and buttery. So we've got the hang tag here. Now, let's go ahead and look inside of the cap, i'm going to turn this inside out, but i'm going to look at it first, just so that i don't run the risk of missing something important with the cap. Well, that's a nice! Looking cap i'll tell ya! I love this lip extended lace, front single, mono top okay, so here we've got that lace front. That extends deep into that ear tab. Don'T you love that? I know i do um. It has some fine knotting on there, then the single monofilament top there's a transparent seam that it joins the two i like how they've done this. It appears that the lace front knotting is very fine and it gradually gets a little thicker as you move back into the style, which is a very natural appearance. A closed velvet ear tab really long. Nice sturdy stays there. A standard, felted nape with velcro style. Adjusters lots of darting for a custom like fit, i'm not noticing a ton of stretch, but i will definitely remark on the fit um. I'M gon na try this on without shaking it out without doing any maneuvers, so that i can give you an idea of the fit and what it looks like i mean directly out of the box, but the first thing i want to do is remove the hang Tags it's true average. I mean i can make a very small adjustment to this and get a really nice fit for my own 21 and a quarter inch circumference. I don't sense any baggy cap anywhere and just look at this right out of the box. Sometimes you can get a really good indication just from the first time you put it on if you're really gon na have to work on a style to make it yours or if you're really going to like it or not. Sometimes those first impressions are the most accurate and i really love it. When i get a wig right out of the box that i know i'm going to love because i don't have to do any work to it right. So let's go ahead and i'll make a small adjustment, so what does average mean so anywhere between a 21 and a half to a 22 and a half? Circumference is typically your average range and that that size of a cap will typically fit at least 90 percent of everybody out there at least that's what i have been told um now with the adjusters, you can sometimes get a little bit of additional adjustment. So, like me, i'm a 21 and a quarter. I can make a nice adjustment to fit me securely. What i cannot remark on is if this would fit a large circumference. The only guide that i have is my own circumference. I have no way of measuring any other circumference, but i do know that if it fits me nicely, it's probably not going to be suitable for that large circumference. Okay, now that i have it adjusted, let's go ahead and just shake it out. Wow is that that is a gorgeous color um. I'Ve had chiffon candy before and it didn't seem to be as creamy. This is a nice creamy blend here. Isn'T it um soft is, is what i mean to say um, and a lot of that i think, has to do with this fiber. It is absolutely gorgeous fiber. Well, let me work on this part just a little bit as i normally do, i'm just going to kind of break up that crisscross pattern there and that seemed to have come out really easily. Okay again, these blaring lights uh sometimes can create shine when there really isn't any um and there's nothing an ordinary about this one. I don't think all right so reapplying. Now, after the adjustments error, tabs, nape, okay, wow, it's really a very beautiful beautiful style. It feels very luxurious. This is just one of those pieces that just really pamper you, it seems like okay. So let's take a look at these measurements. That front piece is supposed to be seven inches. So, let's test that, i would say so because it stretches about half of an inch to an inch past, my chin, it kind of feathers back into the style a little bit, so it isn't, it doesn't hang completely straight. It has a little bit of a feathery action so that seven inch piece right there in the front. Now it's about 10 inches overall from the crown down now it does give you the illusion of a little bit of an angle here. Doesn'T it i think those side pieces the way they come down and sweep forward it's going to give you a little bit of an angular appearance there. It'S not too dramatic and there's no real beveling in the back, sometimes with angled cuts. You can get that beveling in the back. I know i like that. Maybe some of you don't, but this this nape is really going to give you some nice coverage. So it's a three and a half inch nape, as opposed to two or two and a half. Is what we typically see on an angle, a straight angle, bob like this and without looking it feels like it weighs about three to between three and four ounces is my guess so now, let's get up close on these really fantastic cap features again that monofilament lace Front running temple to temple and extending back into the ear tab, it is gorgeous. I love it when they extended the ear tab that leaves no seams visible from the front or the side, and you can see just how fine these fibers are. It almost appears as little baby hairs there. That also leads to some very fine knotting at the front and they've gone in and other every other knot, or so there just to give a nice um fine appearance and gradually getting a little a little thicker. As you move back, this is well done. The material is soft, it's not shiny, it clings to the head, it isn't scratchy wow yeah. This is a really really nice, nice lace front, okay, so on the top, i think you can definitely see through to the illusion of scalp there it's a single hand, tied monofilament, so you can definitely part it in any direction and we're going to take a look At that, in the styling now what you have to remember is that when you go to change your part on a single monofilament top like a full monofilament, you think, oh, i can part this in any direction and you absolutely can. But you have to remember that the way the fibers were sewn in and the way they were parted at the factory and set into the box. It may be a little stubborn at first, so you really have to wake up those fibers in order to get them to be more impressionable, so definitely swirl around on the lace features swirl around on the monofilament top. This is going to make it so much easier for you to change parting spaces and have it look the way you want it to look? Okay, so you can see just by switching the part here, it's created a little bit of resistance and lift on the top, because of that now, if you continue to train it and wear it that way, it will settle. If you like, the lift, you may end up having to use some product in the hair to you know, get it to stay at least initially, but then i just completely changed the part, and i rather like that, because what i noticed here on this was that When i first applied it, it almost appeared as though there was a little bit of box hair a bend or a buckle right there and again that will work itself out, i'm not too worried about it um. Now what i do want to talk to you about, though, is the permatease, so this one has a lot of permatease on it and it's right here on the sides, so there's no permatease on that monofilament top, but right at the temple it's thick and heavy and Pillowy and that's to kind of prop up, you know the sides into that classic bob shape: okay, um, there's permatease, all throughout the crown and the back and nape all right. So it's not a heavy presence of permatease like that's. All i can think about is the permatease on this. It isn't like that, but it's definitely enough to keep this up to keep this style propped up in this particular shape. Now what you can do is use the heat of your hands. I'M not a big fan of volume on the sides, but i can use the heat from my hands and get underneath the hair and just compress that permatease layer and the heat from my hand against the heat from my scalp will shrink it a little bit now. This isn't a permanent thing that i'm doing, and there is no i'm just for the record. There is no safe way to remove permatease, i mean you might see some hacks out there with hair dryers or steam or whatnot, but i just caution you, because when you alter the permatease, you alter the style and it can get beyond the point of no return. Pretty quickly when you're working with the permatease definitely get in there and just use the heat of your hands to mock up some lift now, sometimes that's not going to be sustainable unless you use some product, some hairspray or some contour cream or something. But you can see just how impressionable this fiber is gorgeous gorgeous style, and i just want to. I just want to get in there and keep working it even more. What i'm noticing about this style also is that, even though it's kind of classic in its design, it's also very versatile. I don't like sophisticated styles, i think they, you know it just doesn't reflect my personality. We are all different, but this style here i can see it going from the office where you you may have to be a little more conservative with your styles to something really fun and casual for evening weekends days off date, nights look at this fiber how well It responds to heat and also how well it separates with just a flick of the hand. Very feathery and separated effortless swept look wow. This is a real home run, in my opinion, just all the way around with the quality with the design, the details and this fiber is phenomenal. Wow. I just about forgot to talk about this color chiffon candy um, so the chiffon candy is supposed to be like a dark gold blonde with a pale gold blonde highlight all of that on a medium brown root. Now i know that when you hear the word gold that is a trigger for a lot of us that says no way, i'm not doing gold. What you may not realize is that a gold blonde also has a temperature. It can be anywhere from cool to warm. It can have different gradients of yellows and brassiness that comes through, so i would like to impress on you that yeah i mean i agree with the assessment here that it is a mix of some gold blondes, but they're they're, cooler, gold, blondes, they're, not yellow they're, Not brassy, and it also it almost leaves a bit of a neutral feeling uh. This color has a bit of a neutral feeling. Now this medium brown root, no brassiness, no magenta tones in this root from what i can see right here in the camera it. Actually, you know, i always has a taste hesitate to say it's ash tone because um a lot of times when you get into a medium golden brown, you can get anywhere from brassy to magenta or just something really nice and neutral and natural. And i think that's what this one is. I think this is a nice neutral natural root, there's no abrupt stark lines: uh that demarcate the the root with the body, the main body, the color. It looks very natural in a grow out pattern, a subtle transition. It'S really gorgeous it really is. Glasses are probably going to be a little challenge on this style, because there's so much permatease there that when i inserted the glasses between the ear and the ear tab, it kind of pushed out a little bit. And i didn't feel that it was real secure, so i'm probably going to have to insert the glasses arms below a weft or hook it into the back weft a little bit there to keep it secure. So that's just fine with me: i'm not feeling uncomfortable and it feels secure just by inserting it into the weft behind the ear tab. You

swineinny1: Sheesh, this one is everyone’s dream, right? Put it on & looks perfect w/o doing anything! Rooting, color & style is perfection. Btw, super cute earrings!

Mint: Hi Taz, this is so pretty. A classic! She’s out of my size range, but I was mesmerized and watched the whole video. Have a great weekend beautiful friend, Sharon xo

priscilla soles: This is a beautiful piece ! Love the color and has great movement to it!

Godsgurl 22: Wow this color and rooting are amazing! I’m a hairstylist and have to sadly say that NO wig brand has had great roots either to dark or orangy actually looks like what we call “bleeding” of lightener during the highlight process and we would have to do color correction as we can not send a customer out the door looking like half the wigs I’ve seen to date. Finally they’re getting it!! This will be a huge seller for tress allure I’m sure It’s definitely your color tone Taz Simply stellar P.s. Belletress color: Champagne with apple pie is pretty darn good too!!

Katharine Copeland: Gorgeous piece! If the sizing was more in my range then she would top my wish list for sure! Great review Taz….thank you❣️ Love what your doing and blessing to you ☺️

Lee Ann Lowery: Loved this video and the style! Just the right amount of important detail without making the video too long. Love the remarks on the “temperature” of gold blondes too!

Front Porch Wig Chat: I cannot help but think that this is the replacement for my former all time favorite TressAllure style, Khloe; I have owned probably five Khloe pieces. Same cap features, but a much, much higher price. The only real difference that I see it that Khloe had a temple to temple lace front, not extended. I do love Charlie and if I can find one for more than 50% off, I would definitely get her and I know what color, Frosty Blonde HL,which I have not tried yet. A good bob is a great thing to have in your stable.

Gaining wisdom: Wow, this style just kept growing on me more and more. I agree very versatile style, which is how it got me,LOL! Get in there mess it up a little to bring some casual, edginess that I love. Cap is OUTSTANDING! Thanks and blessings to you!

Sandra G. McAlister: Very pretty, elegant style. Love the movement, thanks Taz! Have a great weekend!

Kathleen Beauchemin: What a beautiful wig! You look stunning I can see me wearing this one!!!‍♀️ My circumference is 21 1/4 also and some wigs just don’t adjust well…I end up with a bunch of empty space at my crown. This one looks beautiful. Have a great day

Ine One: This is truly classic and elegant.

Evangeline Kessler: Wow! You just got my full attention, not that I wasn’t interested before, but I wear glasses and so they must be taken into consideration. Unfortunately, I rarely see/hear reviewers talk about how glasses might fit while wearing the wig. You did and it’s most helpful and appreciated! Great review! Thank you.

Nan Presley: Many thanks, Taz, for another fabulous review! Also, I just noticed that you are incorporating "WHAT'S ON MY MANNEQUIN HEADS?" --such a valuable feature and I greatly appreciate you doing that for all your fans. One question, do you think I could cut bangs in "Charlie"?

Take Control Beauty: Good morning TAZ! Look how adorable you look with ur own Hair❤️ This wig is a beautiful color and the lace front looks amazing ! The color looks so natural ! So cute on you with ur beautiful blue eyes ! How come u have no snow ? Lol Hugs Babs ❤️

mtague7733: Love it, but will have to wait for a really good sale! Price is INSANE!

Rana Zahedi: I love the color and I love the bounciness I think I'm going to check out this to see if they have different colors but it looks very natural and that's one thing that I like about it it look like it was your own hair growing out of your scalp and that's technically what you want when you wearing your wig, looks good, cheers

Margaret Tassey: Thanks for the review. Looks like a nice piece and I like the color.

TIme Enough: Really beautiful color! Tempted as usual but will wait for a good sale! ♥️

Kim A: Hi Taz, Always an education from you. You are the best. You often read my mind, by addressing exactly what I was wondering about. You are a true beauty, because the high majority of your wig reviews look amazing on you. Good genes…. Thx for your informative and fun content. Watching from Michigan…Kim

Valli S: I so love all your videos, Taz. You inspire me to be a better version of myself. You are one, strong, encouraging woman. I'm glad to know you....just a tad! xoxo A fan in Ohio

Sheri M: I've got to stop watching you!!! (Not!) This is SO pretty! It's now topping the list for my next purchase in this gorgeous color. Terrific review, Taz!

Geraldine: This is so beautiful, but I’m pretty distressed by the prices of the new wigs coming out. I know there are many factors at play, but, wow! I may have to look for something more basic.

Carol B: Wow! Beautiful. Brayden, now her! Hopefully I found " the ones".... Great review as always. Blessed be. ❤️

Photeine Loizou: Hi taz,a very beautiful wig.elegant and classic, flatters any woman.the fibres seem to be very soft and the color is amazing.have a nice weekend dear and thank you for the review, phay.

Vicky White: What a nice wig. ♥️

MichelePearl: Love this one. Stunning.

Bonnie Drake: Thank you Taz for listing your mannequins in the background that really helps

Lisa Vento: I bought 3 wigs, different brands, from wigstudio1 and they seem so tight but the company is not showing options for ordering larger sizes so...do you have a chart to know how these fit?
