Hey guys welcome back to my channel. This is gon na, be one of those, maybe controversial videos. Maybe not it's just gon na be an opinionated video um. I mean if you would like to join the discussion, leave a comment down below these are just my opinions. It thinks that I have observed from friends from Family and from just associates and everything that for people who have reached out to me - and so let's get right into it. Okay, so guys women, okay and mean whatever case may be particular having problems with edges, hair loss and things like that now. Let me address this matter. First, okay, if some people have different conditions, some people have like alopecia and other kind of conditions that will cause hair loss and it may be hard for them to grow their hair, make if it is something severe like that, if it runs in the family, because I know on my father's side that does run in their family. So if it's something like that or like, if like your hair, will grow from like the bulbs or it's just different sectors, if it's something super serious and it's medical, okay, but there's a lot of cases of people who are losing their edges. And it has nothing to do with anything being medical, it's what they're doing to the hair. Now I can tell you the number one reason why girls are losing their edges and it's gon na pay a lot of people off, because this is supposed to be quote. Unquote, saving your edges, this ball kept mythic got ta go okay. Now I know you got ta swear by the ball cap. Okay, people say that the ball cap method is supposedly supposedly supposed to protect. Your edges. I, for the life of me. Just cannot understand that part. Okay, please give me your opinion in the car and tell me: how can the ballcap met they protect your edges being that you have to add so much spritz holding spray whatever you want to call it whatever you use, you have to add a lot of that To your edges for one, then you go back in with in jail. Okay, are you gon na making it with coat after coat at the coats at the coats at the coats this stuff? Do you know how drying these two products are drying these products are? It is ridiculous. Okay, I see stylists and things on Instagram and Facebook on these social sites YouTube all the time, and I see them when they they have the ball cap and belay, nice or whatever, but it's so much spread so much tension in everything just around their edges, which Is causing hair loss there's so many women who reach out to me and they're like the BOK, have made it took my hair out they're, just keeping it straight. Okay, I have friends there saying I went to go. Take my ball cap method down in the bulbs of my edges or coming out, and that's what is happening? Okay, it's just! I don't see how it can protect your edges. What is the difference for doing the Buckhead method than just putting on a stocking cap and putting your wig on all that product thing? It is not good for one you're smothering them for two you're putting all of these drying products drying breaking like products on your edges. That does not protect anything and a lot of times. You guys will keep them on for a long long time. Keep these leaks on for a long time and you'll keep putting your wig down with the fan ball cap Mendy, your hair would start to grow and it can't really allow itself to grow with a cap being tacked down a cap and a lot of spritz being Take down it can't really grow, so what it does it just pulls it pulls and it ganks it out and after a while the follicles weaken and it's gone. If the hair stops growing in the air yeah. Okay, it's getting smothered and it's just a lot of tension there and then, like I said with such a drying product such as these and the spray it's just kidding to it and I sold the the jail okay. The bulkhead meant that is geez same thing with glue. Okay, now we all love glue, but let's keep it. Okay with each other glue is very abrasive and I don't know when people are going to start embracing. That glue is very embracing, but it is, it really really is glue I feel like it should only be used. It shouldn't be used as often as some people are using it, because it is hard to get off the hairline, and it also is hard to get off the lace. Okay and when I see some people applying it them they're applying so much. You know, maybe, if you're going on a trip or something and you want your wig to stay on for a while or I don't really know but the glue is, it will take your hair out and let me tell you a one reason: how? Because when I used to use glue, this used to happen to me - and I don't want this video to be too long but we're having a discussion - okay girlfriend a girlfriend guy friend guy, you know see anyways when I used to work alone, I would notice that When the glue was ready to lift when it started lifting, maybe where she got to it, maybe that little old, my hair would he start to grow back. It would pull my edges back with it. Has anybody else experienced that cuz? I know I'm not crazy. It always used to happened to me when it was time for that wig to come down. It would just pull my hair would grow back, it would try to grow and it would just be pulling because the glue is still trying to stick right here. But my edges, oh my hair - is trying to grow. You know I'm saying so it's time to take you down and when I was taking down my the funnel would be stuck to the little pieces of my hair. Okay, it's just time to for us to start caring a lot of it know, but a lot of it about our hair. You know it brings me back to people. Ask me all the time. Why are you caring for your hair? Why do you care so much for you here if you're, just gon na put a wig on? Why would I neglect my hair? Why would I put myself in a position to where I have to wear a week, I'm bound to a week? Okay, at the end of the day, under all these healthy hair is the goal. Okay, this this is pretty and everything that but healthy hair is the goal. You don't say and I feel like we've strayed away from our edges in our hair. You know I'm speaking specifically on edges. Now, it's getting out of hand, it's getting ridiculous. Okay! I even seen a video where people were like shaving off the baby. Here'S like the very front piece, so they can lay their frontal down right. No, that's just getting too out of hand, don't go to nobody who feels like. Oh, I want you know to shave off you. Even if, though, II cuz, I have little hairs on my face. Those little bitty peach fuzz, I ain't shaving, those off, oh, not to like no frontal or not to like no weak. I'M not doing that, and I wish I wouldn't like to just anyone else to do anything like that. You know we're just not being very safe when it comes to our edges in our hair cuz I mean, what's the point of having a really long hair if your edges are sparse or if your edges are starting in the back of your for it like what Is the point you know this? That'S my point like what is the point but, like I said, I think that the number one reason for the alopecia and the hair loss around the edges and why people are having such such hard times is definitely because of the vodka myth it and the glue. But again, that's my personal opinion that it's not, I repeat, does not go for women who have medical issues, because there are some people, some women that do have medical issues and that's anything bill weeks and things like they just don't grow hair in the area or They can't grow here in the area or certain other areas. Okay and, of course, I'm not speaking or being insensitive to those type of people who fall within that section, so anyways guys, I would love to have them discuss and discussion with you all. Let me know: did you guys ever have problems with the ballcap method or with glue? Have you ever experienced like when your hair starts to grow and your wig starts like start pulling your edges until you experience that? Do you agree with me that these products are just really really drying and then it's the number one cause of hair loss around the edges? You know just I just would love to know you guys, opinions um, you guys already know any questions come as concerns leave them down below and we will definitely discuss ah see how many

Nicki Nicole: I agree 100% I got some loyal edges they been with me through perms, color, micro braids, quick weaves, etc and the one thing that TRIED to take my edges was this dog on bald cap method. After doing it once I knew it wasn’t for me my edges felt weakened and irritated. My dumb butt tried it one more time not on my edges as much and when my wig started to lift the cap started to slide and pull my edges. NO MA’AM!!!!! It’s a no for me

NaturalJoy: I have never tried the bald method, for one I feel like it’s toooooo much product! I wash my natural hair once every other week so putting on all that stuff is pointless for me. I can still make my wigs look natural without the bald cap method. I prefer to rock my wigs with little to no product because I like to take my wigs off soon as I hit the door

Virgil Wilson: I agree with Erin. I think a lot of women are so focused on the beauty of a nicely crafted unit that they begin to neglect their natural hair because all that matters to them is making sure that lace is laid as if it were naturally growing from their scalp.

Piggie Bonita: I never understood it. Never agreed with it. Everyone is bald. I take pride in my services. Healthy hair is my goal. Clients don't listen because everyone is doing it and it "looks good"

Cyd: Girl yes, I literally only got one frontal install with glue and after that first week once that glue started lifting i could just feel it snapping my baby hairs as it was sliding back, so traumatic but i've been able to finesse my edges so they look fuller than they really are but still never again

Sydonne Warren: I just took my bald cal off last night and it definitely thinned my edges out. Never again

DreaM: Agreed, I personally DO NOT use the bald cap method and never have. I prefer to take my wigs off at night and when I want to look well groomed, I use glue but only for 3-5 days. The glue starts breaking down then anyway.

LaBeLLa MiSSDonna: You, Teairra Walker, & Sierra from LHHATL are literally the ONLY people that I’ve ever heard talk about these frontals & the consequences that come with wearing them. I’ve had naturally thin edges all my life, it’s hereditary for me (Dyamond Myne made a video about this), & I’ve gone to professional stylists & had it done not once but TWICE (apparently I didn’t learn my lesson the first time ). BOTH TIMES my already naturally thin edges were thinned out even more!!!! Thankfully they filled back in but never again I tell you!!! The closest I’ll come to it is a 7x7 closure & I don’t use lace glue AT ALL!!!!

tasha pointer: You are absolutely right, my stylist did the bald method on me for the 1st time with my frontal.. my edges has always been weak and when i went natural i was nursing them back to health and saw results of them slowly filling in, when i took my hair down, honeyyyyyyyy my edges was literally BALD, slick like a babies behind.. i criedddddddd sooooo hard because it took months and patience to grow my Lil hair line back.. NEVER AGAIN.. i have to consider a hair transplant because the follicles are gone hunty

Yeye Breezy: I always felt like the bald cap method is just too MUCH! I have recently learned how to make wigs and it was stressing me to decide whether or not I should learn this. I got to find another way when I learn how to put on a frontal. You ain't lying!!

butterli bloom: People let me tell you something. If you use got2b freeze spray and want to take off the wig instead of it snatching your edges use oil sheen on the front of your of your wig where the lace is it will loosen up in a matter of minutes and Bam your edges are still there.

The Glass City Girl: I literally just took off my 1st bald cap method last night. FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST!! But you seriously made some very good points in this video and I agree 100%. I hate the amount of product required to lay edges with the bald method. And God only knows what these powerful chemicals are doing to our natural hair. Smh. I did almost avoid getting so much product on my actual hair. Honestly I think I would only do the bald cap method on special occasions but def not an everyday thing....

CherelleLanee': The bald method is too much work for me. Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That!

Wonderful: Took me forever to try the bald cap method. I finally did huge mistake. Will never do it again.

Carla: I just know that I tried the got2b glue one time for the bald cap method and while I was highly satisfied with myself for efficiently following a YouTube tutorial, I remember the glue snagging my edges and feeling like something was snagging at my hairline. That was a quick end to that and I reverted to doing without.

Crystal Clear: What’s so funny is that it’s called the “bald cap method” and the comment section is loaded with women saying that it snatched their edges out. I’m done!

Yathniel Green: YESSSS girl this happened to me!! Took all my edges out. Smh NEVER AGAIN. now I have beautiful locs.

Natrina Parker: I am so glad I came across your video. I am new to lace frontals, and I noticed when I took my wig off my edges were thinner. I already have very fine hair, but like you said I still love my hair. Thank you so much for this knowledge sis! I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

Kimberly Joy: Thanks for your honesty. A lot of females don't want to talk about this issue. Knowledge is power‍

Nene Christophe: You’re 100% right. I used to do the bald cap method. It was so painful and messy. I would see strands of hair left on the cap and bald spots on my edges. Now I just use the elastic band or use a small amount of got2b glue. But it is important to take care of your hair underneath the cap. I feel like most people neglect that.

Christina R: Thank you for this. Removed my first lace front 2 weeks ago. Edges took the hit. Between the harsh chemicals, tension and my fragile 4c edges I’m good on wearing lace fronts. It’s not worth it for me.

NaeTionTV: I definitely can agree i tried the Bald cap method and I did it exactly the way you’re supposed to and one morning I woke up and my cap was so far back and tugging on my edges. It was trying to come off and hurted so badly, so I went ahead and took it off. I’m NEVER doing that method again!!! It WILL pull your edges and hair out!!!

tommon02: I'm a beginner. The only wig I've worn is a closure. I bought a frontal but I was scared to do the bcm and was looking for answers. Glad I found this.

Tayaìra Ali: I agree ☝️ I haven’t experienced any loss of hair around my hairline but i have seen with my own eyes someone with thinner hair losing their edges after removing their lace it aint worth it lol

kelsey emilie: I tried the bald cap method for a month or so and I won’t be trying it again. I prefer to remove my wig at night and I feel like taking your wig off at night helps save your edges.

vidsmj: It seems the bald cap method would work better for ladies with bigger foreheads. It can be applied to your skin versus your hairline.

Fortunada Hope: I’m experiencing that now! I don’t do the bald cap method but my hair is growing back now from me using the cap and Got2be spray

Dejanea Woods: Gots2be has alcohol in it which weakens the hair. When wearing any sort of closure, I recommend a wig grip or use a skin protector if you’re gonna use glue. You need a barrier between your hair and the lace because as your hair grows, it can intertwine with the lace. Especially those “baby hairs” and “peach fuzz” that lays along the hair line.

Iesha w: This is exactly what I experienced a couple weeks ago. That cap pulled some of my edges out this time for some reason. I never want to be bound to a wig. This popular YT ber who is very skilled with melting that lace said recently glue is not dangerous. Bullshit !! from my personal experience. I’m done with that cap method

Tee Ya: Damn I’m happy I have a big forehead so I put it on my skin & I take my wig off every night

C R: PERIOD! FACTS! THATS IT!!!!!!!!!! It ripped my edges out and I didn’t notice until it was too late. I’m currently on month 8 of growing my edges out and I’m now seeing results. This method isn’t worth having no edges

Kia Moore: Girl yes lost a lil bit of mine but im glaaaaad it grew back im so thanful lol i prayed my edges grew back

Bloody Maria: I am so happy I found you. I was days always form doing the bald cap method for the first time. I am now taking lessons from you ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love my healthy edges

LuckieRed: omg I just had did the bald cap method and immediately put coconut and avocado oil with water to take it off. I am not about to lose my edges

Lattisha Simon: Ugh I wish I watch this video before I had a stylist put my frontal on lol it was my first time and let me tell you after a week I had to take it down my edges was raw and I lost some edges never again‍♀️ she used too much damn glue about 3 layer.

Self Made Beauty: Totally agree sis I’m currently working on my thinning edges due to the cap. Its applies way to much tension on top of the wig cutting circulation.‍♀️‍♀️ I look forward to sharing my experience soon to the YouTube community

Nicole Tots: I did a sew in with the bald cap method and my edges were thinned when I finally took it out. Never again.

karatemami2006: I did one for my wedding back in October, and while it was laid!!! It pulled ALL MY HAIR OUT! I’m devastated

Essie Myers: I strongly agree. I tried the bald cap method twice and the second time it felt like my edges were being pulled from my skull I stopped immediately. I have not did it again.

GRAFFITI DOLLY: I swear I’m glad you sed this I thought it was just me. I appreciate you speaking up

lachanda brown: Preach sista!! Your scalp is an extension of your skin. It must breath!! Its pores that need to be breathing! You are saying the darn thang!! Yass!!

tenisse h: I been saying this! I’m glad someone said it.. I’m from the UK it’s not done so much over here but when I do see it I’m like goddamn.. a lot of women are creating retraction alopecia and they don’t know it..

Lee: I oil my edges with castor oil and peppermint essential oil before I apply a unit, I use hair spray (never glue) on my skin to attach a unit~not my edges, as well as using a wig grip under my wig cap, to protect my edges. I also remove units with a water-conditioner mixer so the unit slides right off. Never sleep in a wig, you will rip your edges out!

Adaora O: I put hair grease on my edges before putting the cap on to act as a barrier from the spray. I also don’t use the gel because the spray holds long enough for me. I take my wig off at night

tiathenurse: Super true. I starting doing this and my edges started coming out. Prior to trying this I had all my edges

Breana Glosson: I believe every word your saying my Lil sister loves her frontals and her edges are falling out.

Laurenslocs: Last night was the last time I will EVER do the bald cap method. Literally took an hour of patience to get that thing off and I lost a little hairs never again smh

Braidzilla Cort: I completely agree with you! I preach healthy hair under your weave all the time!

Kia Jonsey: I knew that I would of NEVER liked this method. Thanks for the info.

Ms Anjie B: I never understood the whole arts & crafts cap method. Never tried it and don't see the point. My natural hair is healthy and thick so I'm gonna keep doing what I've been doing. I have my edges and take care of them. Wigs/weave is an option for me...not a necessity. You can still rock a lace front and not glue it down...it's not that serious for me. Loved the video...

klymaxx724: My exact problem,I ran to frontals to get the relief from the tension. & I had to look back at my pictures & saw they were more healthy when I left the front out. I'm taking my wig off today & going back to my duby

Porscha Frank: This video had me rolling. Oh Kay Aunty. I did it once and was like oh no no no no no, I almost cut my edges off. They know what that method out here doing.

Piggie Bonita: I have my first lace front rigjt now. And I dont know why I did this crap. I pray I have my edges when I take it off. I don't recommend any wig unless you can take it off daily. Period

Renette Gordley: Some years ago I didn't hear sister's losing their edges. Some would get a sewn in weave for a birthday or special occasion once every year or few years or wear a phoney pony. That was it. Some people would wear their hair in singles or french braids sometimes the other times it was their own hair. The only time I seen someone's edges broke off but not completely gone was when the relaxer broke it off for whatever reason & within a few months they nurtured it & the length came back. Then when some women start wearing the stuff you're talking about all the time I wouldn't see their hair anymore only the glued in wigs & weaves. I'll buy a wig that you put on then take off for certain events or french braids that's not tight.

Mich Brooks: Great info, thx. I take my wig off every night, don't like to mess up my curls also like to sleep comfy. I tried Got2b and it was ripping my edges also. So now I use Pump It Up first day then follow by Motions Light Hold Spritz for the next. Only spritz the baby hair above forehead. This holds really well for me. Wash wig on weekends and start over .

kelsey emilie: The only way the bald cap method is safe is if the glue to hold the bald cap down isn’t on your edges AT ALL! My aunt lost the hold front of her hair because her stylist put got2b spray and glue on the whole area where the frontal sits.

Le Pearl: I noticed the spray took off my edges and so stopped... I now use the gel and blow dryer and find it works better. I take my wig off every night. The hairline peels away with warm soapy water and a soft sponge which lifts it away easily.

Queen Bea: Sissssss!!!! You kept it the whole bald cap to save your edges concept makes no sense. #healthyhairisthegoal

DiablaVerde: I haven’t noticed any difference in my edges but i only use the spray and I spray it on my skin and not edges. I place the cap before my edges not on them. I did notice that when I wear my wigs for more than 5 days I’ll get pimples where the lace is. So I don’t leave my wigs on for more than 4/5 days. I avoid putting any product on my edges!

Melanie Rose Hair: They think because the cap isn’t glued it’s okay. You said it right... that bald cap is taking edges out. As a cosmetologist, I say please stop doing it.

Hope Breezy: Just imagtion doing this 3 or 4 times every month for 6 months....danggg

TYCR HAIR NAILS: I have experienced all of that and then some my back edges are coming off I'm beginning to get a bald spot on the back of my head but not from the bald cap method, it's from the elastic band rubbing the back of my head too much

Deborah M: Erin you are so dam real. Thank you!

Kyee Young: I’ve only been wearing a wig for a couple weeks and I just use got2b spray. My hairline is too low to adhere the wig to the sides of my face so I just adhere it at the top front and wear a center part that covers the rest. I take really good care of my hair but I can tell where I’ve put the spray my edges are thinning and it’s a bit tender. I use water to loosen the wig every night so idk what I’m doing wrong.

Star Star: I just had it happen to me dammit! This method took out alot of my sides

bailey smith: i’m now seeing that the bald cap method is bad apparently i use it all the time and my edges are still full and healthy.

KhaDeisha Harris: I just don’t understand why people don’t just sew down their wigs or simply learn how to sew down the frontal then just the the back and side. You can sew in the frontal, just sew in the braids and not the part. Maybe it’s just me ‍♀️

Leticia Robin: Bald cap method definitely ain’t protecting my edges, because it slides back after a few weeks and all that glue gets into my hair n sticks on my edges

Yasminee E: I noticed with the bald cap method a year ago I would feel my edges getting sore as I press on the wig, and that’s when notice that they were coming out. I’m trying to find another way bc now when I wear wigs without caps my edges get irritated, so maybe bc they can’t breathe or they need to be covered with a cap but not glued down ?

Sassy Moi: You are 100% right. I have overly healthy edges like too much edges. I did the lace Frontal but it wouldn’t stick. I shaved my edges but my edges grow too fast and the Frontal would lift dragging ALL my edges back and tangled in the glue to where I would have to pull it off with my edges stuck to the Frontal. I did this like 4-5 times and each time my edges were stuck and falling out. I quit the Frontals all together. You’re NOT snatching my edges and have me looking like all these other bald women. I do weaves and a lot of these women you speak of lost their edges to BRAID Extensions. They are permanently bald around the edges for life. The Frontal and the Braid Extension are exactly the same. Use the elastic band method for your wigs, no Got2be Glue or gel stuff. Or just go back to Closures the safe method.

Fabrice Stuart: Just tried lace for the first time in December. I got it redone 3 times. Washed my hair yesterday and cried when I seen my edges are gone gone. I put my treatment on it but I will not be wearing my hair out for a while until my edges come back.

Lavishly Lette: I tried the bald cap method and noticed thinning at first.. I made the smart decision to try it again with a frontal instead of a closure.. My edges were completely bald after I took out the install... I have a low hair line.. I have had edges all my life.. I am humbled.. I will never do the bald cap method again and luckily my edges are coming back but yeah NEVER AGAIN

BeautyandtheBritt: Right no one wants to be BOUND to a wig and that’s what will happen if you neglect your hair

Jen: Yea, I never tried the Bald Cap method and never will....Im good off all that activity

CeAira Williams-Parker: I use Roberts diamond protective shield for my bald cap method. Its not drying of the hair and it washes right out.

TheAsiaRenee: Girl EVERYTHING you said made sense

Priscilla Wilson: You didn't have to say anything else after the 2:25 mark. I hope nobody tries to "shut you down" sis, cause you ain't said nothing but the truth. That bald cap technique is a theatrical method commonly used for stage & performances. Just like these jumbo eyelashes that we're all in love with nowadays. Women are going to learn the hard way but hopefully not to late. Your average 25yr old who's gonna do this technique til she's 37 or 40 will suffer permanent hair loss. Anyway thankyou sis for bravely sharing.

MISSTHAING-LESZ Strong: Amen. Thank you , I said that shit from jump .... But I will not lie I tried the.... And I was complain and crying the whole time, while I was getting done (I love my girls, they been with me my whole life..). So I had to wash it out my mind was planning tricks on me lol... Another thing I notice is the use of alcohol when taking off the wigs... IAM like why it's going to dry your hair out , if you don't want it in your gels why are you putting it directly on you..... .. but anyway just my thoughts, so I just washed the stuff out with babysoap and a little edge brush and warm water and love and patience. And it came out great no damage(messy but worth it in long run) So I only use it the got to be glue when I have too have too !! , if not I use the taffy from Kenra and it works for me and keep my hair... ( It will not hold like some people want or like but that ok with me for normal days..) Lastly did anyone else notice that got to be glue be causing acne and ingrown hairs,. Shit nonono I I didn't sign up for that painfully shit. Lolol # natural 10years!!!!

Jazzy Cakeup: I’ve let go of the frontal period. Maybe I’ll go back but all the work sis I’m TIREDT! Been plopping on my closure wigs and going about my day

Domo Unique: I'm not one to wear my wigs often, I wear my natural hair out more than wigs, so the bald cap method and all that is sooo pointless for me. And even if I wore wigs more often, that method seems like it would do more harm than good. Oh and also that whole shaving ur own hair on the sides just to lay a frontal is a mess. Yeah Im sure ur hair grows back but it prolly struggles to grow in as it fights thru that glue/got2be

Adaora O: I feel like what makes you lose your edges is sleeping with your frontal on. Your edges can’t handle the friction with the pillow and the lace

IAmZ Yewsha: I tried the glue luckily it didn’t take my edges out and it didn’t stick like how I seen on other in fact it would hold for about twenty minutes before it would start to loosen up. I applied it the same as everyone I researched and it didn’t hold. I’ve use the got to be glue and the ghost Bond glue. So when I seen it was not working for me I stopped using it. And yes it was a mess removing it off the frontal. I’m glad it didn’t work bc I love my edges to much. Lol yes ma’am you best tell it sis.

Official Cess: Yessss I stopped the bald cap method after I noticed it was trying my edges it's too much up under that wig when it starts moving and everything, not even really needed if you do it right just gotta practice

Ashanti James: I’m bald. I took my frontal off 2 days ago and my edges are completely gone. I don’t wear them often this is like my 5th frontal never lost hair before and now I have nothing left

Shae’ Amour: See I’ll just stick to my lil sew in ,with my chi heat protectant (I have a permed leave out so it ain’t nappy‍♀️)

TAM DOLL: You spoke facts!! the ball cap method is just not good for hair I feel like lace glue install is okay for a weekend 3 days max but for weeks it’s definitely not good for the scalp or hair follicles.

Charmaine Espeut: The bald cap method is extra for no reason.

jayyy london: The bald cap method surely did take out my edges

Renee Collin: IMO (unless there is a medical condition which unfortunately may cause hair loss) - my suggestion is to just stop with the "weaves & wigs" period ! "We" have always had thick beautiful hair (since the beginning of time) HOWEVER somehow we got LAZY and didn't want to maintain our hair as our mommas, aunties and grandmother's did. They had gorgeous hair that could be styled or cut in so many beautiful ways! but now we just slap on the wigs & sew in the weaves, and you wonder why no ain't got no edges??! Or we think that by having long FAKE (European looking) hairstyles make us more attractive?! Wrong! As a former Flight Attendant I never relaxed , wig or weaved my hair, but while flying the high altitude and dryness on the aircraft tore my hair up, however I never resulted in anything artificial. I just cut it (and wore a cute Dorothy Dandrige style). Now working front line in the medical field, I just wear it soft & natural and I love it ! If you do unnatural things, don't expect natural looking results. ❤

GOLDEN GLAMOURZON: I totally agree with u sis..I dont do that method cause it makes no sense to me either..tfs

Shunna States: I love it !! “ It’s getting out of hand “!!

Ronni j: You are EXACTLY right the baldcap method is horrible on your edges i will NEVER do that ...no glue either

Nylla Raee: I lost it when she said “you guys Swear by the bald cap “

Skylar Brooks: Your personality is a whole vibe!

Britney: I went natural and was shy about my short hair .. so I’m wearing hats to work .. n I’m noticing my edges are really thin.. trying to figure out how to grow back .. plus .. hairstyles

JOROMI Beauty: I think it's the drying products that are damaging the edges if the glue is placed on the skin and removed correctly it shouldn't be a problem

April Washington -crowder: I use the bald cap Method people don’t protect there edges correctly and don’t use skin protectant and don’t take the cap off correctly

Styles by C: Yes girl i have to learn how to do it without bald cap method now because my edges are damaged now

꧁༺𝒥ℯ𝓃𝓃𝒾𝒸𝓀𝒶༻꧂: I can't stand lace fronts , use a ton of got to be glued gel , and no matter how much gel I used the unit would lift /:

CandypinkHeart: I think the little bit of common sense in everyone seen this coming but they will guard methods like these as if they life depended on it. I saw this happening before it started because all that spritz smh.... everything looking nice but when it all comes off it shouldn't have to be broke down.
