Hello and welcome to all things list so before I begin, if you have not, please honor me and hit the subscribe button down below like this video leave suggestions or questions in the comments. I read all the comments because I don't have that meanie. You know this, is you know, okay, I'm new here give me time. I want to make sure that what am I here for it to kind of share my knowledge and share knowledge with you that I've received from others so that we can all be knowledgeable together, but anyway, brant in. But as you can tell from the title of this video we're gon na be talking about lace. So, let's talk lace here recently, there's been a wave of people with wigs custom units closures, frontals all these things with their installs and so is trying to use more protective styles to protect their hair underneath or they want. You know a seamless look or they want to replace missing edges. Whatever the case may be. Okay people have taken a real, strong liking to lace, so we need to discuss what type of lace is right for you. Alright, it depends on a lot of different factors. Like lifestyle variety, do you work out a lot? Are you new to wigs? So before I begin okay, I just want to show you the lace, because, if you're watching this video is because you don't know what lace to choose, so let me grab the pieces so that, once I start explaining them and discussing them, you guys know what I'm Talking about now, first we're gon na talk about closures, okay, closures and frontals also pretty much the to live or than a discuss, because it doesn't need to get that deep. There are others, but they're, not you know, they're not really important. Right now. Have your basic closure: this is your basic closure. It'S a four by four okay. Your basic closure is gon na, be four by four and what that means is you're. Gon na have four and just going down and up four and just going across okay and it's just a closure because it closes off the top of your head. Okay, so that is the closure, and then I have you know that looks so good, okay, so anyways. I played too much okay, this is the basic closure, and this is the closure. I'M gon na recommend to anybody who is new to wearing wigs or or lace. Okay, reason why I'm gon na recommend this one? Is it's low maintenance, okay, the less lace? There is a longer that your style can last. If you look in here, I'm putting my thumb in there and I'm trying to make sure y'all can see that you see the little dots everywhere. Okay, each one of those dots is a piece of hair or three depending on how many they put in there, so they literally stick the hair and knot it and then pull it out. That'S how you get this, so you can only imagine that the more that you manipulate it, the more that you brush it comb it twist it pluck it braid it it's going to eventually bald okay, and then you have to replace it. So this is the least maintenance. Okay. This is great for people who they don't have the time to maintain it, because it's just like this little piece. Okay - and so you see this - this is a glueless leg that I made and it's a closure. Okay, it's glueless. Okay, and so what that means is that all I have to do is pop this wig on and pop it off, and it's it's not going anywhere. Okay. So if you want to custom, we go to my website so done with this, the four by four: let's jump up to the five by five and I smile when I say 5x5, because this is my favorite really because you get the frontal wives so and you Get more parting space, so you have five going vertical and then you have five and just going horizontal. So it really allows you to get a deeper part. Okay, it allows you to, you know, do some cute stuff, like braids or little Platts or whatever? Okay, but you still have the low maintenance of closure. You have some of that frontal versatility, but you have the maintenance of a closure. So I really love this piece because you can really get frontal vibes with it. Look at that, okay - and it's just I look - I really like this one. Okay, now you do have others which I'm not gon na be showing today. So you have the six by six, so you have the seven by seven, it's the same gist. You'Re gon na have seven inches across and seven inches. You know vertically and the same thing with a seven by seven, but if you're watching this, if you're having to watch this, because you don't know what lacing it you need to choose, one of the first two. Okay, it really the first, but I'm gon na, show you what a frontal is. This is a frontal. This is a frontal. Okay, you see all this lace. Okay, this is a frontal, so the great things about a frontal is number one, because it goes ear to ear and sits across the front of your head. Okay, once you hot comb or press this or whatever you're going to do, you're gon na get flat bobs. So flat like coming out of your scalp, because there's nothing here believes like this is the only thing from you know, your hair, that is this bulging, that's it so you get the flattest appearance. Okay! So that's a good great thing about the frontal. Another great thing is: you have all of this to do whatever you want, so you can do even deeper parts. A okay you, I've seen some people do box braids with the frontal I mean so many things like so many endless possibilities and looks, and you know a half up, half down and, and you know all types of stuff. So this goes thirteen inches across and then four inches deep. This is a 13 by 4. Okay, you also have the 13 by stick, of course, the deeper you can go, the more realistic it is the deeper the better. So this is the 13 by 4. It like I said, if you're having to watch this video this on here this angle before you just you need to wait on that one. It really needs to be looking at the 5 by 5 or the 4 by 4. Okay, let me get my steel shot in make sure that I'm that's cute yeah, okay, that's gon na, be my steel shot for the video, so I'm always gon na recommend the 4 by 4. Anybody that is new to lace because, like I said the more that you manipulated the more it will ball and then you need to be able to maintain it. So once you get out of that chair or out of the kitchen, wherever you getting your hair done, you need to be able to go home and maintain the look, so the less lace that you have the better and then another thing like you see, you see Those little tiny dots right that takes labor so, of course, the more lace you have, the more the more expensive the piece is going to be, so you have to think. Okay, am I really wasting my money buying more and I'm not even using this lace? Do you change your part? Okay, would you want to change your part? Do you just keep a middle part nestea, you just keep a side part and that's it like, because you can shift the wig with the closure and go from middle to the side. Okay, it's really simple to do. Okay, so the most important thing that I want you to realize is that lace is not for longevity. Okay lace is not for longevity. Okay, you also have different types of laces, meaning the material, so you have HD and you have film and you have transparent. You have a light brown and dark brown. Those are like different colors and then you have the thickness that goes up and down. So all of those will take into account how much are gon na be paying for that lace. But it's not meant for longevity. You do have to eventually trade it out and replace it, because it will eventually bog and don't blame the person that you got. The hair from don't blame the person who did it installed it whatever it's just the natural process of a lace piece, it will eventually evolve so ya. Take into account all those things your lifestyle are. You knew the wigs. Are you gon na be able to maintain it? Do you want versatility? Are you gon na even use all of that lace base and then decide what you want so once again, if you found this informative, please, like the video comment down below.
